I should have fished the Packery Channel flats like I do most times . Went t Oso Bay Bridge Saturday,…. Far too windy but caught a couple. Another killer outing for you sir.
hell yeah just found your channel man, sick vid ima sub too. Headin out to galvy tmr, gon fish the pier for bullreds, they been real good this run, so far got me 12. ima fish this lil spot with the artificial right at sunrise to try get on sum specksss.
Nice vid, would love to see one of Wilson’s cut especially with a drone view. Haven’t fished there in almost a year now but I know few money spots on the right conditions
Haha. Well over 20. Had to cut some out or wouldve been hour long vid. Felt like it was getting monotonous as is. I release em all though so they're still out there 😉
You were wearing those reds out. Do you use a drift sock or anything similar to slow down your drift or just a power pole? You’ve inspired me to work flats more but I can’t keep a straight slow drift to save my life. Haha.
I do use a small weight with 550 cord or drift sock if its real windy but typically let it carry me. I can cover water quickly. I know some killer grass flats out there. Not as vast as South TX obviously but they hold bigguns.
You make it look easy my man! How you liking the NK180 motor? Any issues or tips now that you've had it awhile? I made the mistake of not fully securing the battery and almost flipped the yak☺
@Saber2131 If your steer stick doesnt have a set screw in the aluminum sleeve, put one in there. The adhesive will eventually disbond. The earlier mods dont and it will come out n sling ya if under power. Owner knows, current models have the fix.
Shoot me a message if you come down. Im not a licensed guide, YET that is, but if you guys show up where I decide to fish could work it out. Id also checkout Heroes On The Water. They run events all the time here in South TX. Active duty and retirees fish and cookout etc. Great chapter.
@ sounds good brother 🫡 Good info, never heard of it, but I have entered the Finnaddicts kayaks tournaments here at Calaveras Lake. Look it up, if you make it this way I can show you a couple of my spots, I just landed a 36.25 Redfish on my Old Town. My PB.
Great video!! One of the best action packed video I’ve ever seen!!
Wow, glad you enjoyed it. Thanks.
Awesome video I gotta get back down there to corpus and do some fishing. Also so sweet that nobody else was there fishing but you.
Thanks. I try to get away from the pack and do my own thing.
Well done! Can’t wait to get back down. 9 straight days coming up over 🦃 holiday 🤙🏻🎣🍻. Love fall fishing on those flats🙏🏻

Hey thanks. Its not supposed to be hard, its fun! No issues so far. Running the NK180 PRO, with 24 volt Newport lithium and SnJ steer stick system.
@@Jacemang_Outdoors I got the same setup after watching your video on the NK180. Love how its expanding my yak range

Hey man, I stay in corpus and go to tamucc. Could we possibly meet up and fish together one day? I have a kayak and it’ll be my first time on it
Awesome! I'm not a certified guide currently however it is something I'm heavily considering in the near future.
