It's been 11 years since I've first played TrackMania and fell in love with this franchise. I'll never forget first starting Skid or Die and hearing this song. It's this game's map and skin editors that made me pursue game developer career. Last year I've discovered RioluTM and got into TrackMania again. I've been grinding really hard and I had a blast. I've gotten semi decent and got to the top 10 on leaderboards in my country. So it really saddens me that Riolu was cheating for last 10 years. He was someone I've looked up to and now I don't know what to think. . . . I know it's dumb to have such strong feelings about this, but to be honest TrackMania and Riolu made my quarantined summer infinitely better.
I'm 30 so I'm old as heck. But yeah time did pass by so fast that's just how life is sadly and this was one of my favorite nostalgic games of all time the ost is a blast. Sad but true but we won't see games and music like these anymore.
On RUclips you can find one guy who made already patched this game. Imo I think the whole game is better than United Forever, better presentation as a whole package, better campaign. Of course TMUF got all the environments though but if we only include Bay, Coast and Island then TM Sunrise for sure is the winner.
