Same, this game was a huge part of my childhood. When the game became playable on Windows 10 in Jan 2020. I literally started crying because I had just found out that I could experience my childhood again :') Trackmania Sunrise had that Starforce DRM which would screw up your PC if you tried it on Windows 8 or Windows 10, and I heard many stories of the game bricking PC's. So it's just great to finally be able to play it normally.
If only nadeo would make this campatible with newer computers.. people would have so much fun reliving their childhood and others could finally feel this game like how we felt it back in the day
splashX Saw a mean to play on Windows 7 last year and it worked for me, with a patch and with the update of the security software within the launcher ✌ A forum explained how to do it, followed the instructions and it worked. I haven't tried it yet on my new Windows 10 PC, I must try it

When I played this game as a kid, I only got Bronze, Silver or Author Medals. 3 Years later I got Gold for the first time and that just blew my mind, discovering a Medal I never saw since 3 years...
This game... I don't know. I love United Forever, even after so many years, but the feeling (or the atmosphere) was just so different in Sunrise. Especially Island looks sort of dull in United. Like they changed something about the lighting. It's so hard to pinpoint, but at the same time so apparent.
@@BraixenKartzem It really is more of an artistic choice, I think. Because really, they could have made the lighting in United as dramatic as in Sunrise. There's no technical limitation with the newer engine that could have stopped them.
@@p00x39 The handling is the biggest issue for me. I could feel through the 3 cars like if they were my extended hands. I just couldnt be the cars in united forever.
as a Trackmania player this one exactly track makes me so superb nostalgic and want to relieve Sunrise stuff :) I can;t do it so because of CD protect of those times, they don't let me play my legally bouhgt game :/

I wrote this song, recorded produced, mixed and mastered. I found out by accident and I hate to get councils opinion and take nadeo to court. They settled out of court and I got a measly payout. I didn’t even know it was on MotoGP. So in answer to your question….they just stole it!!!
