@@ROOTSSchoolVT well there are a lot of maples in my neighborhood, not quite a hardwood. thanks for answering btw. but what do you mean 'sweeter' soils? Also literal tasting... not an option in this neighborhood. >.> i grow in containers for a reason. I vaguely remember some geologists will lick rocks. I have a decent amount of shade but the community garden where about half my gardening happens is very dry and we've had a lot of dry summers.
The ones that has stripes on leaves are no good.found this out years ago.If you rake the leaves back, dig a area and cover back over with leaves they will multiply.everywhere I've dug in past 30 years is covered.💪😇🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Fantastic video! Love your energy to get out in nature in this tough time of quarantine and pick some Beutiful ramps
I don't think I've ever found them growing on ground that flat.
Thank you.
Thanks for checking out our videos!

I found a place selling ramp seeds online, is it worth it for a city dweller to buy these seeds and try to grow them? i have a small side yard garden.
Worth a try but they need a very specific soil type, sweeter soils that are a little tiny bit wet ideally in a mature hardwood forest.

If you have a creak, river, or pond on your property plant them on the top of the bank in spread out locations.
