I love attacking in singles, so I am looking for an attacking racket which is not only for attacking but also can be used for drives and defense. I have heard that the Astrox 77 is the best racket for my category which is not too expensive and performs well
Hellooo, I think it all comes down to your personal preference. Do you prefer more head weight or less head heavy rackets as all rackets can be attacking 😬. Astrox 77 does lean it slightly towards the head heavy side but also not too stiff so pretty user friendly really. Have you tried any rackets so far?
@@CKYew I like head heavy rackets, but not too head heavy rackets. I have the voltric ld 100, pretty old racket. And how does the Astrox 77 compare to the Astrox 69, Astrox 55 and the Astrox 66?
@@nihalsameer6417 The Astrox 77 would be the heaviest compared to 55 and 66. I've not tried the 69 so you'll have to try that. You could probably try some models of the 88? Hi CK. I am a slightly strong power player, who usually plays doubles with my wife. Have been using a Duora 10 3u5 for a few years. But with the RSI on my elbow getting worse, I start to go a little easy with the power and do more drop shots. I don't run fast so I need more control to position my returns. Is there a Yonex racket that you would recommend to suit my change of playing style? And what about the Duora 10 lt or 88D 4u? Thanks.
I would actually recommend super user friendly rackets such as the Nanoflare 800 or the Astrox 88S Pro. They amazing with big sweet spots too. On the other hand, maybe invest in coaching to improve your gripping and timing or perhaps work on rehab or strengthening? New rackets won't make old injuries go away unfortunately :(

Spotted this comment and thought I'd jump in to ask what the main issue with elbow is? Is it actually RSI or is it more tennis elbow? If so, it's probably your grip, would recommend a slightly larger grip on the racket and then massage the forearm muscles after every session. Also are you using a head heavy racket? Head heavy rackets increase risk of tennis elbow and shoulder issues.

@@CKYew before the TK30 I played with a more head heavy and a very stiff racket, as I started to struggle more during matches and training, I decided on a new racket. I wanted a more balanced and fitting racket: One that's less stiff and slightly less head heavy. I did test a number of rackets and this one felt as the most comfortable one. It's slightly less head heavy and it's neutral on the stiff-flexibility scale.
@@JettroTjie Amazing!! You've just literally gone and picked a better fitting and suitable racket for yourself rather than what we think we can handle in our brain!! Well done! Did you find you play a better game or train better now that you use a more forgiving racket?
Could you kindly assist players to choose a racket suitable to their game as well. Singles/doubles/mixed. Power, control, speed etc. Weight vs swing weight. Weight distribution on 12/3/6/9 o'clock position. Differences between Isometric and round frame. 72/76/80 grommets frames. Those are important information as I wouldn't recommend anyone using AX99 for doubles or speed type frames for singles either.
You can pick up 2 rackets of very similar spec but feel completely different. Control/power type rackets have different length on the shaft which effect the distribution of power, ease of changing racket direction and recovery speed. Notice the difference by comparing the shaft of 88S with D. Isometric have bigger sweetspot better for singles. Every player have different swing, long and short. What string should they use. It is good to enter a shop know what weight, grip size, balance point, stiffness and tension you want. For the advanced players we need to be more specific to suit their game.

hello ck, i'm a natural weak player in terms of generating power. So, with HEAD LIGHT racket and MEDIUM flex and looking at the formula on your website, Does it help to my weakness? as, i'm trying to abuse the speed/velocity of the swing to generate more power?
Something like the Nanoflare 800LT would be good for you 😊
@@CKYew thank you ck
Hello CK , was wondering have you ever heard of oldschool racket , Muscle Power 100SP , im still using this one since i was a kid.
can you comment on this racket ? like maybe how would you think it will perform compare to newest racket these days ? haha... thanks a ton!
Yonex has stopped producing Voltric 70 etune 4U which I love. Which current model would you recommend as a close substitute? Thanks.
I would say Astrox 77 is pretty similar
What racket are you playing with?
Victor TK30
@@JettroTjie Nice!!! What was your main concern when you purchased your TK30?
Yonex astrox FB
Bro what bat suitable for Aggressive bigenner
Could you kindly assist players to choose a racket suitable to their game as well. Singles/doubles/mixed. Power, control, speed etc. Weight vs swing weight. Weight distribution on 12/3/6/9 o'clock position.
Differences between Isometric and round frame. 72/76/80 grommets frames.
Those are important information as I wouldn't recommend anyone using AX99 for doubles or speed type frames for singles either.
That’s some in depth discussion on there 😊😊
You can pick up 2 rackets of very similar spec but feel completely different.
@@albertchui8462 Yep, that's why I do my racket reviews to help players of all skill levels. :)
Keep up the good work 👏
Players need to be informed
@@albertchui8462 Absolutely! Gotta spread more badminton love! You can help me by sharing my videos with your badminton buddies too. :) Thank you for all your support!
Can you review yonex nanoray light 8i lcw edition? I already buy but i don't know about the spec
racket specs should already be printed on the racket 👍
What is shottol?
Bro, need your suggestion. Ada x Yonex head heavy, flex@hi flex and berat 5U? I feel like this characteristics of racquet suits my play style.
On the top of my head, i dont there's any head heavy exclusive rackets from Yonex that's 5U and flexible at the same time.
HI, I am now using Arcsaber 008T, 3u4G. Im looking a better smashing racket but not too head heavy. Any recommendation of racket where slight head heavier than arcsaber 008t. Thank you
Arcsaber 11 Pro?
Is there a link to the badminton racket matrix you refer to?
It’s generally available on yonex catalogues or sometimes their websites
Does Yonex voltric z force 2 and Yonex astrox 100 zz are same
nope, quite different indeed. I've done a "most powerful racket" video and i compared them 2 there
I want to buy head heavy racket. Budget 4000 to 6000 .I prefer to buy only yonex batminton rackets .please suggest me
I just cant decide either nanoflare 700 or 800
Have you checked out my review for the 800? That might help.
Hi Ck!, I play quite aggressively and my racket right now is the Voltric 80 (3U) I'm looking for a lightweight, head heavy racket, any suggestions?
My personal fav is the Astrox 88d pro
I am intermediate player i planning to buy between nf 800 or astrox 88d can you tell your opinoin . By the way i am a singles player.
Have you checked out my review for the NF800 as well as the 88D/88D Pro?
Ya i have seen for them both and now i am planning to buy nanoflare 800 only i like it thx for the video
Good luck!! 👍🏼
I used to have VZF2 and it broke. Im thinking of buying a new one but different any recommendations? Btw im intermediate all rounder. Thank you.
There’s plenty of good rackets out there. My current personal fav is the Astrox 88d pro 👍🏼
Please suggest me a racket with
a flexible shaft,head heavy, 4u racket
Yonex or lining (no budget issue).
Arcsaber 7 or 11 pro
Hi ck yew what do you recommend us single racket on yonex?
It’s up to your personal preference 😊 no wrong answers there
Hi CK. Can you recommend a racket for me? I am an intermediate player and have a weak arm. I want to easily score backhand clears and end to end clears.
Nanoflare 1000z if your budget is high, nanoflare 700 if you have a lower budget
I just bought an Arcsaber 11 Pro to upgrade my 88D Play (all recommended by CK!) but thanks I will try one of the rackets you mentioned if I did not like the Arcsaber.
Hey bro.. I need a suggestion..
Which one you think that best racket..
Astrox 100zz / ArcSaber 11 pro ..
They are both great, it depends on what you're looking for
@@CKYew I like to play aggressive.. so please suggest me which one is better for me
Hey ck yew what book do you see in 4.39?
It was a Yonex catalogue 😂
Plzz clear me which one should i choose Astrox 100zz or aeronaut 9000 ? In terms of my power and control gameplay
I have not tried the Aeronaut 9000 so I can't advise on which one feels better.
Hello , is Nanoray Light 18i good for beginner?
Absolutely! Why not? 👍
@@CKYew thank you 👌
😊
Im new here..... i like your videos..... Im doubles player can suggest me a head heavy racket in mid range price or less? Except yonex..... like Carlton, flypower, fz forza or victor..... Anyone you like to say..... right now im using flypower tidore......
It’s all down to personal preferences so what works for me might not work for you. The best thing is to try them out and you’ll instantly know if they work for you, or not 😬
@@CKYew exactly but please just give me right path to buy..... I don't want to waste money.....
can u pls tell me which is better astrox 39 or the apacs z ziggler
Have you tried either?
@@CKYew no
@@maneshpavan5444 so why them 2? 😬
@@CKYew sir because I have only them in mind n hv budget only for those😔
@@maneshpavan5444 they’re both good rackets so there’s nothing to worry about.
Im sometimes bored bc i play with not very good kids and we dont have a court near by
well , all this info didn't help at all, only if i buy a yonex( they are more expensif we pay for the name) since you showed us a chart. but about victor? balbola? and others ( black knight here in canada) how can i know if its head heavy? and the xU factor is a rought estinate of the weight, i hate this system, we use to have the weight mentioned on the raquet. I was expecting a graphic with dosens of raquets to compare with . this wold help me choose a raquet better.
What if your favorite balance racket ? And also your favorite head heavy
Check out what rackets THE PROS are playing with: ruclips.net/video/uAzzjHiUOOs/видео.html
whats a good mid tier budget racket i like even balanced rackets
It all depends on your budget and if you have a brand preference. To be honest, there are plenty of really good mid-range rackets out there!
What if u are advance player but u want to play with flexible racket
Astrox 77 Pro?
Thank u bro
But too expensive bro
Astrox 7 Dg vs 10 Dg?????
Which one do you prefer? Have you tested both?
