I having the sample problem with my both MacBook Air m1 so should I do the same steps ? Or is there anything which was not explain in the video like when you connected the external display did you press any button or that MacBook screen start automatically ?
Hi! I am facing similar kindof issue. the screen sometimes goes away and doesnt come back by default. sometime it come back . works fine for 2-3 hrs and then goes black. I can see the backlit of screen by increasing or decreasing brightness.. Also works with external display. Is it a flex cable issue ? how much would it roughtly cost for repair?
Only after checking will we know whether the issue is with the flex cable or the display panel.If you wish, you can courier it to us or show it to a technician near you

I have same issue, when using external monitor hdmi its fine, but internal monitor some times show but flicker then going black again, when i check using dignostic it show ambient light sensor and camera problem, it weird because this happen when i unplug the charger
Your device may have a display flex cable issue or a display panel issue

1.disconnect battery connector and press power button for 10 seconds and connect battery connector and start
2. cleanup motherboard and display connector
3. connect with HDMI cable with external display
Please follow the step.....

Why can't the technician at authorised service centre cannot fix this same problem and asks for replacement?

oh yea because of a issue with a laptop now apple hates thair customers.
similar issues are happend to windows laptops aswell and the issue is mostly a bug in the graphics driver and firmware. usaly it gets solved by resetting the firmware or removing all power for a minute and putting everything back together
Would this work with a MacBook Pro M1 too? I had the same problem but I ended up removing the screen and using it as a desktop with a monitor 😅

i think there was software bug in the display driver. he should just disconnect battery and afterward make a hardware reset
You cut the videos ! Plug the hdmi and still no display and you cut the process and suddently display is fixed. Why ??? Why ??? This is lier….!

wow ! probably the most useless Mac repair video I've ever seen , annoying very loud music , no explanations , spent more time installing the OS , took out the motherboard for no reason , plus the USB ports etc. took covers of the screen connectors( why?)
