I do like green trail with splashes of intermediate goodies throughout. Not crazy about packing trails right on top of each other like seen at 3:47 It gets confusing and people will move those sticks thinking they're doing the builders or mtb club a favor. Otherwise (without looking a map) it looks like they're really using that area well. Glad to see more mtb trails in my home state.
This is my home town trail and I totally agree about the signage. I would like if they upgraded them. Loved the video ! Glad to see someone enjoying are city. Next time your in the area I know where some more trails are located that aren't on the maps
yep, totally right. the postage is awful, i just got back out there after a somewhat long hiatus and had to continuously keep looking at trailforks map for the routes. theres just too many trails that fork off with no signs telling you which trail is which. and i agree he missed a lot of the fun loops off of tiger, like log jam and rollercoaster.
Thanks for posting this. I live in Fort Wayne and currently shopping for a new bike. I have a road bike now. Do you think a hybrid with 60mm suspension forks would be suitable for this trail or should I get a true Mountain bike with suspension I can lockout when riding pavement (mostly what I'll be doing). I've been looking at Trek and Polygon. I will only ride this trail occasionally but want to get one bike that will do paved trails and this. Appreciate any input!
This is my first year riding mtb. These are my my home trails. I haven’t really ridden anywhere else so I have nothing to compare them to but I enjoy riding there
Welcome to the sport, you could definitely do worse than these for your home trails. What's nice about this trail is that you have a variation in building styles.
@@blasperero26 I don't get out to Fort Wayne often, but if you're ever in the South Bend area message me and if I'm available were could hit up a trail
How many people have gotten ran off the trails because these midlife crisis guys cannot comprehend that there are hikers and day camp kids walking these trails? Bikers should not be allowed at franke park. It's so bad people have put signs up to tell the bikers to watch out for pedestrians. The bikers claim they were there first and that pedestrians do not have the right of way and that we need to get and stay out of their way. Day camp kids have been threatened with violence by these guys. It is no longer safe to hike at franke park. God forbid if you are deaf or hard of hearing or handicapped. My kids were threatened by many of these guys because they didn't want to jump off a bridge to get out of their way. It's a disgrace.

Oh boy, the temptation of secret trails is strong! I'll have to take you up on the offer at some point, thanks!

Have you ever encountered any predators while biking?
Haven't been there yet but your videos certainly inspire me to want to go there. I really liked all the skinnies. Great video🤘🏻
It was pretty sweet! worth going back for another visit
Do you happen to ride an orange Canfield yelli screamy? I might have been behind you on Thorny Bone today, June 6th!
I wish! I ride a Trek Roscoe 8, so must have been a case of mistaken identity
I noticed you pronounced it as "frank", while an easy mistake to make it is supposed to be said more as "Fr-AH-n-key" (franke)
Thanks for setting me straight!
excellent
Some of these loops need to be rated higher than what they actually are. This is a well made and designed bike park.

It is clearly marked as a MTB trail first. Sorry about your experience however not every rider is a jerk, just like pedestrians, some good, some bad..
