mine ate the right hand transmission at 40 hours - uses the hydra 2200 transaxle - get a higher series mower with the 2800 or higher. exmark did cover it under warranty
I just looked up the S series for 2021 - it has the 2200 transaxle which is mine - make sure whatever brand mower you buy has the Hydra 2800 or higher because it is a $1500 repair once the 3 year warranty is done. The 2200 is standard in most of the entry level residential zero turns - spend the extra $$ at your purchase so you don't get this $1500 surprise after the warranty. Not to mention, I have been push mowing 2 acres for 2 weeks waiting on the parts / repair.

I apologize - I must not have the S series as I have the standard Quest with the 2200 - he does mention this series has the 2800 so that is good

Love mine. Only got to put 9 hours on it so far, but it's comfortable and does a great job.
