What I feel is dominar 400 is more practicable when compared to this, in every aspect....not this heavy, not this pricey, not this costly to maintain....and braking just switch to sintered brake pads bro...i did and i feel a hell lot of a different....i have a d390 and a d400 also... both are different... nowadays i don't feel like touring with friends in d390...but d400 I'm happy....vibes are there, put on some badminton grip, you are good to go...did a 750km ride in d400 and 7800 kms in bs3 d390, but d400 was not at all tiring ...d390 was not at all comfortable...domi is an alternative to this one...and d400 has touring friendly options like in built charger port,a mount to support phone holders, bunjee cord connectors under rear seats and saddle stays are very cheap some 1500 rs and they can be fitted wit ease as these bikes have provision to do that as stock...those who ride fast can do 160+ or else wanna cruise at 80/90/120 kmph, thats also possible....but vibes are calm around 5-6k rpm..lower than thay depending on which gear youa in will have some impact...but as I've been using d390 for an extensive period, d400 vibration are tolerable...and RE service is good for those who doesn't know how a bike works, even those who doesn't know whether they have sohc or dohc in their bikes....all service centres will exploit you somehow...d400 is somewhere affordable and their customer care centers are pretty much responsive...they will call you back and make things happens untill you are happy with the service...even KTM doesn't do that...funny part is that both are from same base...hope all got sorted out...than
From a vfm point if view, this make sense. But IMO, Meteor is for those who wanted to feel the Cruiser while riding it. It's about having a comfortable seat, no vibrations, extended legs, classy feel. The premium amount is for that 😁
I had an Avenger 220 before and have a Dominar 400 now. Dominar is more of a comfortable mile muncher, cruising in a cruiser is a different feel. The only major issue I had in the Avenger was low cruising speed and lack of abs, Meteor 650 is the solution.

During service i was told that they have to replace brake pads as it was worn out for them n i told them not to do that coz it's a sintered brake pad, i know it will make another 5k kms...i don't know whether you know the fact that every pads comes with wear indicator...they even don't check that, they see the thickness and replace....this is how SVCs "exploit".... unnecessary parts change will be there. Funny thing is that we will be so happy that manufactures gives 4or 5 yrs warranty, but behinds the scenes they will make us to be bound to their service centre...once you get your bikes serviced outside and they come to know..done kathaamm...tata bye byee...they earn more in service than sales...
