I think his low polling has to do with the fact that he largely specializes in metal. Basically metal is a genre that will tend to get overlooked and under appreciated. Bobby has an extremely unique, super clean style. Never seen anybody else play like him. As far as I can tell he is the session drummer in demand for metal, prog-metal, tech and art metal. You name it. Overlooked but loved by those that have followed him.

Honestly all the songs in this DVD are incredible, and it's hard to choose just one to react to....
"Peppered Cancer" is just nonstop balls-to-the-wall and displays his prowess in hitting the cymbals behind him (which if you notice, he hits in multiple ways, straight back as well as crosshanded)
"School" has an incredible cymbal choking section, a lot of crazy tom work, and one of the craziest transitions I've ever heard in a metal song
"So It Ain't" has some mind-boggling polyrhythms, and shows off Bobby's ability to play different styles besides just metal... honestly it's a super underrated song and is 100% JAZZY

Oh fuck yes. His other song from that one is a little calmer. I think it's called "schooled". Edit: I was thinking oh "So it ain't". All from his dvd.
He currently plays with Fates Warning and Sebastian Bach. I first heard of him on a Rob Halford solo album "Crucibal" but I think one of his first main bands was Riot. Juggernaut before that.
He has done some real crazy work with his brother, Ron, as well called Spastic Ink. It's some crazy shit lol. He is a Texan 🤘from San Antonio. Bobby still gigs with local country musicians for fun around the state

Always stoked on a new video!
edit: That was Fucking amazing! And in regards to more diversity; If you can find some ladies who are on par with the drummers you have already featured I will be very stoked.

Drummers that know their shit know Bobby is one of the legit Boogeymen in the industry. nobody sounds like him, nobody even tries to go near it, he's just off in his own world. Tons of incredible drummers all over the map, but he's damn sure one of the scariest.

Hey Garrett, love the channel man and enjoying your video choices a lot, I'm slightly out of the loop with the metal drummers also!
Wanted to make a recommendation with Thomas Pridgen as I remember you mentioning in the recent Deatoni Parks reaction that you enjoyed early Mars Volta with Jon Theodore, I figured you would really enjoy Pridgen if you hadn't listened to following albums after Amputechture and he is also African American, a Berkeley graduate and incredible drummer - Enjoy!

I'm 100% on board for more representation and more genres, that said; please check out the skinny white dude drummer for MGLA, dude plays cymbals like a wind chime. Also if anyone you've watched deserves a revisit it's probably baard from Leprous.

    “Metal cage of emotion.” 😂
Sadly, one of the only female drummers that comes to my mind is Stefanie of Brutus (who is both the drummer and vocalist). Not sure it’s reaction material, but maybe worth checking out. ruclips.net/video/EBRYSlKDlws/видео.html
Looking forward to seeing other suggestions in the comments though.

Definitely my favorite reaction of yours....even more than the video with the fart. Bobby is insane and was the only drummer to say "Let me think about it" when Dream Theater asked him to audition. The other songs on his DVD are "School" and "So it aint" which has a Latin feel that you would also love with all the behind the head cymbal goodness
