You’re an enabler. The last thing I need is another backpack but your top 2 are solid bags and I’m intrigued. I need to sell some of the bags I’ve got to free up some space. Congrats on 1k subs and keep up the good work.
Love discovering another bad need on RUclips! Love your authenticy. I watch every popular bag person and I can tell you are just one of us and need out hard! Tom Bihn is my jam and I have the Evergoods CHZ26 which I love! I can't get into completely buck open cavities for EDC which is why I'm not jntk the CPL. Great video! Looking forward to watching the rest of your channel now!
A Happy New Year David! I hope it will be a happy and healthy year for all of us. I am now using the Black Ember Shadow 26 for quite some time as my regular backpack for going to work. I can confirm from my own experience that the backpack is pretty much water proof. No problems at all even in heavy downfalls. Overall it is a very good backpack that has served me well. The Synik is always of interest for private activities where I consider at least 30 liter and more pockets important. All the very best wishes to Chicago!
Great video Sam. Thanks for the effort. I was tempted by the CPL24, but I always want outside water bottle holders that don't take too much volume from the main bag. So for me it was Alchemy Equipment 30-liter 022 bag. Love, love it. Highly recommend. Also, I got my son the 30-liter version of your Synik for college and it's terrific for him (thought the design would turn him off, but he's substance over style so it's been great). Keep up the good work.......
Thanks! I’ve heard only good things about the AE 30L bag. I may need to grab it in 2022! Haha yeah the Synik isn’t exactly stylish but it’s going to get him through all college has to throw at him!
Would you say that cobra has independent volume pockets like Evergoods? Evergoods pockets are the best because there’s packets are actually usable and can fit essential’s.
Out of those 5 bags I'd take the Synik. It's different and it's functional. In my top list my overall #1 is the be Bellroy Classic Backpack. The bag flows perfectly with my needs and no other company has such sensational materials like Bellroy. Unlike Evergoods which fabrics are dust magnets.
IMO: A19 is good BE looks interesting Synik laptop feature is bad Phoenix is worst version of CPL Wanderd fabric looks not enjoyable but I haven’t used one. MY Top 5 2021: A19 Evade SC Mystery Ranch Dragon The Brown Buffalo Conceal 26L Mission Workshop Rhake Vx Defy Recon Mini whiskey Leather
I appreciate those thoughts. Can I ask why you hate the phoenix? It’s almost identical to the v2 as far as I can tell. I haven’t tried 3/5 of those. I’m very intrigued by the BB Conceal and the Rhake but I haven’t gotten either of them. Maybe in 2022!
@@DaveSam13 it’s ok, but I have a couple problems with it: 1) 28L is better fit for my carry 2) the 24 is ok in their normal 500ht nylon but in vx it holds even less due to fabric not stretching 3) pizza box laptop sleeve eats up a lot of the interior I had it, loaded it up and sold it immediately. It was never going to get used over my CPL28v2.
Solid list Jacob. Here's what really intrigued me in ''21. Top 5 new things I've gotten to use this year. 1)Belstaff Colonial Aces travel. 2)TRUCE Drop Liner great for running around town 3)Arc'Teryx Khard 60 Velcro FTW. 4)Bedouin Delireis SE no-fuss dynema fun 5)BO Gear Bullpup gets the most compliments. fun little unit.
Hi ! I have a WANDRD 21l backpack and i love it but it doesn't fit my asus ROG M16. Also, it's not really practical for every day work in and out use. What bag would you recommend to replace it or complement it ? Looking for something weather resistant, minimal/stylish.
I’d recommend any of the bags on your list except for the dsptch daypack. It’s a fantastic bag but it is very tight and I think you’ll run into the same problem. The Black Ember bags may also be tight but should still work. Hope that helps!
@@DaveSam13 Hi David, I just saw your reply now! (youtube notifications for comment replies are just horrible - I found the settings to adapt that from now on though). I ended up buying the Aer City Xpac. It was a bit cheaper than the other bags and checked off all my requirements. It's small and probably wouldn't fit much more than enough stuff for just a weekend trip, but it's great. And I had to ask Wandrd for reparation because a zipper of my wandrd prvke bag was broken; instead of getting a reply, I got a new bag (not even a reply to my email; just the notification of a new bag being sent to me as if I had ordered it) - so I can definitely vouch for wandrd's lifetime warranty!
Bro youre the only bag reviwer i trust and love!!!
David Samwel FOREVER!!!
I DONT CARE IF THEY UPLOAD MORE!! DS FOREVER!!!

Hahaha yes. Yes I am 🤗. Good luck, the secondary bag market is pretty solid right now too. Thanks!
Love the way you talk about bags and carry. Thanks so much for the support!
Thank you! Appreciate y’all watching and keep up the great work on your side too!

Happy new year! And thanks! Enjoy the new bags
I would love to hear your review on the able carry max!
I’d love to get my hands on one soon!
Would you say that cobra has independent volume pockets like Evergoods? Evergoods pockets are the best because there’s packets are actually usable and can fit essential’s.
Yes I’d say the cobra also has pockets with their own dimension. I like the way the CPL packs out more personally though
@@DaveSam13 agree with CPL!

Some bags I have been checking out: Black Ember Citadel R2, Black Ember Shadow, able carry, dsptch daypack, bellroy tokyo, rofmia day pack, timbuk2
I’d recommend any of the bags on your list except for the dsptch daypack. It’s a fantastic bag but it is very tight and I think you’ll run into the same problem. The Black Ember bags may also be tight but should still work. Hope that helps!
