General scinece and ability is quite different for commerce students.You haven't recimmended books for this subject but only websites.Can you recommend 2 3 books plus please make a video too.
General science and ability in unlike any other subject. You can even prepare most of GS from primary level science books. The main idea is to study from such resources that make any topic easy to understand. Otherwise, you can get Mian Shafiq's book on GSA (published by Jahangir World Times). That would be sufficient enough.

Sir css written portion mcqs hota h ya phr theory
2 parts. 20 mcqs, followed by descriptive questions with choices. You get 30 minutes for the mcqs part and 2 hrs 30 mins for the subjective part.

Yes, it's not compulsory to opt Mathematics as an optional.
