All Hail The Ancient One! A little bit of help for the LFG: No, you weren't playing with "your group". When you join a group they will most likely be on a different instance of the same map, so you have to join them. The people in the gren squares are on the same map as you and people in the "empty" squares are on a different instance. You can join others by right clicking on one of them, preferably the Commander and select "join in [map name]". IF their instance is full a pop-up will give you the option to queue up for that map, so when there is free space you can join them. It is preferable to always trying to join the Commander as theirs will be the main instance. They usually move themselves into the second subgroup, so that they will be easier to find among all the players. If they are not seperated, then always the commander is in the first place in the grid., and you are the second. The blue little dots were your "groupmates" indeed, but if they are a bit greyish, it means they are on a different map, of they are bright blue, then they are on the same map as you. This "system" is the same for both groups and Guild members (yellow) You were lucky this time, that there were people on your map aswell, next time you could leave your original group and join the one on your own map. Lmao loved the reactions. This is the open world endgame, or at least part of it, of gw2; the metas, some are super chaotic, some are pretty chill/simple and some are hell on tyria that will have you yelling at the screen for most of it...looking at you Dragon's End meta...looking at you!
You did good, just keep gong around the map, and just help around doing group events and Meta events and you will get the star dust. I got my skyscale through End of Dragons, and it wasnt that bad. Wait until you do LW1, Heart of Thorns. That one is trippy.👍

But all good, your map also have some ppl and a commander. And if you want to join the commander you see on this map, you can click his icon on the map(but you have to leave your current group 1st of course lol) and click "join squad". Unless his squad has full(50 ppl max) or his squad is private(but it is rare to see in meta) 5:52 LOL GG \O/

Yeah I figured that out afterwards when I did the meta a second time lol. I can't remember if I tried teleporting to someone the first time.
