I plan on going to the Chicago expo in April 2022 & I hope the hairball is there cus I'll totally add some of my hair to it. That's a very interesting thing you can say you took part in lol.
I'm surprised you don't because I saw a video on here of an amusement park in the UK where you get to play on heavy equipment and I've always been wanting to have one of those here in the US. Heck y'all started the Tussaud's Wax Museum in which they have a one of those in my hometown of Hot Springs National Park. And I love the videos of the curator's corner at the British museum.
@@SeaSwine9-Vid I guess that the United States has always been one big freak and wild west Extravaganza on behalf of our parent Nation Great Britain. John Merrick The Elephant Man was English but found his calling as a freak in the United States. I will learn more about Sheffield. I'm from Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas.
That baboon taxidermy head in full rage was fantastic! The live sideshow reminded me of an event I went to in the early 90s call the Jim Rose Circus. Some things you just can't unsee!
That section of his video was actually taken of my booth, StoltzKraft. I make all the miniatures by hand. And I actually used CSI as my inspiration for that piece! 😊
Haven't been there for a long time but American Science and Surplus on North Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago is a fun place to find a mix of weird items parts and pieces and science stuff.
I just dont get that point of view at all animals are animals not people. People getting to attached to pets has warped their view on an animals place.
Are you kidding? These animals are being respected. People come and gush over them and how beautiful they are. They are bought to be put on display in houses or museums so people can appreciate them.
I'm looking forward to the Atlanta one. Rainy Day Revival has a brick and mortar store here in the Atlanta area you might want to check out next time you're in the atl.
There’s the guy who’s going to open the mouse museum in Mackinaw City next year again! I’m looking forward to checking that place out and I have you to thank for the heads up! Awesome video as always!
Omg! I love this vidio! This place is so morbid but so awesome at the same time! I love those taxidermied animales, especially those stillborn kittens! So sad but so cool at the same time! I think their fur looks so soft and beutiful! I'd take one of them in a heartbeat! I'd bring him home and name him and keep him by my bed to hold when I was sad or frustrated! Rain.
I can do hook suspension but I can't handle "jars of fun". I did fall in love with the cyclops monkey (not in this video) though, I wish I could be mommy to a lot of these animals. Lucifer (Lucifur?) is cool!
I was at the oddities and curiosities expo in Chicago on Saturday July 20th, my video I just put up yesterday. What day were you there ? I am definitely going next year!
Lots of interesting things and people, have to be honest the taxidermy does nothing for me, each to there own Jacob, but i did enjoy watching the vlog x
I ordered a T-shirt from your shop! Would you ever do a shirt with you and Adam the Woo on it? I would definitely love to see / buy that - or something in your shop with you and Adam on an adventure together. Fun stuff.
I like the more plain and classic Fijii Mermaids better, the more modern one goes a bit too much into overkill. And that was 32 Dollars for the toad purse?! That's a bargain, and it was good that I wasn't there, I would have bought that thing. And also, that gives me again the idea of getting crafty with some polymer clay and making my own "Punks".
Always loved the tv show "Oddities".
I have never seen a soft mount before. I'm sure that does freak people out! I love the little vending machines.
Exactly, I want to make money with those vending machines full of Curiosities locally.
@@chadwarren9677 I think they would do really well because it's so different!
I always enjoy watching your travel videos, Jacob! I hope you & Christie have a great time! Safe travels my Friends!
I love it when u go to places like this! Amazing
The Odeum is actually in Villa Park which is about a half hour or so, depending on traffic and route, outside of Chicago.

I’ve done pulling but not suspension. Those folks have extra levels of control. So cool to see this!
What a great spot, amazing Jacob as always
That Robin Williams teddy bear was positively creepy!
Been watching for a while now, and man! I LOVE your channel! Awesome! Greetings from sweden!
I think I said ‘THATS SO COOL’ out loud about 6 times throughout this video! Loved it, thanks Jacob 💜☺️
Thanks for posting this! I was really planning to check this out.
Great video again !! Can’t wait for the next one ! Thanks Jacob
I definitely need to hit up this expo!!! Thank you so much for putting this up. Love it.
Bring money. You will need so much money.
@@thornmallow1 We went to one in San Diego. Man! A person would need like a months worth of pay to get everything they wanted! 🤣
Love your channel thanks for showing us the Oddities expo
Thank you for sharing. This video was cool to see.
Dead Taxidermied Animals just seem very wrong - esp. when they're used as stuffed toys.
The bear with deer horns is called a beer 🤣👍
This stuff isn't for everyone but lighten up and have an open mind. That's what I've done after finding Jacob's videos.
I enjoy your adventures Jacob. Thanks!
Awesome video!! Thanks for sharing Jacob!
(9:12) Jacob, that's not a "Bearalope", it's a BEER
I definitely need to check out that expo when it comes back to Chicago
Man those performers were awsome!!
That place is off the hook, except for that one woman.
Wish we had such amazing events/places in the UK
I'd rather be in the UK

It's not quite a full curiousity show but HorrorCon UK in Sheffield is very good and has a nice amount of oddity taxidermy and craft stalls.

Very fascinating. Thanks Jacob. 🙂
Awesome video , found it very interesting . ThankYou for sharing .
that hairball is groooosssss
I NEED to go to one of these expos!
me too!!!
Hi Carpetbagger! Very interesting expo. Cool! Great video.
The murder at the donut shop looks like an episode of CSI. 😀
That section of his video was actually taken of my booth, StoltzKraft. I make all the miniatures by hand. And I actually used CSI as my inspiration for that piece! 😊

I'm with the people that think this is pretty sad. People should have more respect for animals.
I just dont get that point of view at all animals are animals not people. People getting to attached to pets has warped their view on an animals place.
Magma Sunburst, the only people who could get into this kind of grim garbage are serial killers or edgy teens.
Are you kidding? These animals are being respected. People come and gush over them and how beautiful they are. They are bought to be put on display in houses or museums so people can appreciate them.
@@mikebrooks1620 Good to know a vast amount of the population are edgy teens or serial killers
Magma, I completely agree. Well said.
this was sad and kinda disturbing at parts (who would take a still-born cat and sell it??) but somehow i’m still intrigued and think it’s interesting?
Set me lose in there and I’d be buying one of everything! The photos, dolls, taxidermy and displays. 12:06 was beautiful and I want it!
why was "lucifer" kinda cute though? he looked so soft
EnglishatHeart just to clarify I was talking about the stuffed coyote thing
@@emilylucas8351 Haha, I just saw that part and realized that. 😂
I personally don't think it's cute to do that to animals though. ☹
@@englishatheart I mean yeah its a little creepy ngl
Very cool
The guy talking about the vampire killing kit sounds exactly like Dennis rader “BTK”
Welcome to my town!
WOW!

I love everything about this video! Thanks for taking us along. And that demon skull with the rack was badass, I need one.
the animal taxidermy parts are very macabre.
Rainy Day Revival has a shop here in Atlanta! You should stop by next time you're in town. See you at the Atlanta show! I'll be vending!
This is going to a different level of taking a gift home......
Good one today, Jacob 😁👍🏻
I like the refrence to antichrist at 18:15 haha. What a movie!
thats exactly where i would've placed the hair on the ball too lol
I can do hook suspension but I can't handle "jars of fun". I did fall in love with the cyclops monkey (not in this video) though, I wish I could be mommy to a lot of these animals. Lucifer (Lucifur?) is cool!
wow never been this early to watch a video yay!!! well done love it!
10:18 I think that's suppose to be a piranha plant from Super Mario
I need to go there and buy stuff
LOL! "I'm in heaven here"
WHO WOULDN'T BE?!
ive seen about 10 things I wouldve bought. too bad this tour doesnt come to the Boston area.
That 2nd ripleys guy seems familiar. He wasn't the guy that showed you around the warehouse/workshop was he?
lmao now i have seen it all, the worlds largest hairball! how cool, great video as usual
8:18 OMFG I must have them all!
What a place of badass ppl!!
the cowboy ducks 😍
Interestingly creepy displays. Keep Safe❤Keep Well❤
I went to the one here in New Orleans last year, it was awesome!! But they did not like me filming much, so I had to abandon the video.
Wow very cool and creative stuff they have there.
If you ever go to Effingham to see the cross you should do a meet up would love to come
Have you thought about doing a pizza pie thin crust versus thick crust. New York vs Chicago. Interesting.
I’m Manda ‘s (suspension girl) friend Erin!! I love your vids!!!
Thank you for sharing my videos! She shouted “Hello Erin!” While swinging But the camera didn’t pick it up
The Carpetbagger that’s awesome!! ❤️❤️❤️
I almost forgot!! I’m also a friend of yours on Pokémon go! I’m Odinsmom 🐕
Nice!
one could travel the country following a giant hair ball/ conglomeration..."the grateful dread".
LOL THAT THUMBNAIL!
Sept 21st, New Orleans... I'm there!!
Awesome show. We were at a Ripleys in Niagara Falls Ontario this weekend for my 40th Birthday and I was looking for you 😀
I was at the oddities and curiosities expo in Chicago on Saturday July 20th, my video I just put up yesterday. What day were you there ? I am definitely going next year!

I seen a cat cough up a hair
ball about the same size😳
😂

My cat got lots of hair balls so bagger come get it ...🐱🐱🐈🐈🐈🐱🐱🐱🐱🐩

I think the thing you said was an Audrey 2 was actually from Super Mario Brothers because it was coming out of a pipe like in the game
Creepy but fun!
20:24, what's the back story on that looks to be a rabbit mask?
That person can just sell human remains?
Man, I wish you mentioned some of the shop names, I'd love to look them up online to buy some things...
When did you came to
my Home Town Chicago?
Was it recently?
It was at an arena.
Regretting my decision to watch this while eating buffalo wings...
The question is why do they call them buffalo wings when buffalo dont have wings and its not buffalo🤔
ethical taxidermy .. nice :)
Is it just me? But, for some reason most of this was rather disturbing to me...🙀
"We're just gonna put these hooks in you and swing you around the room"
........NOPE!
You’re in my city!!!
Why so many thumbs down? Thanks for sharing and my nightly Carpetbagger
Because people are city dwelling media brainwashed wussies now days.
Villa Park?

Odeum....you left out more people...probably just as interesting as some of the exibits.
You should go to maskfest
Not much like Santa Land.
