We totally agree with the tips! Stay and scream is so beneficial. We typically get into 2-3 houses with either no wait or like a 30 min wait. Fast pass, if you can afford it, GET IT! It’s literally a life saver. Combine that with the stay and scream and you can do a couple repeat houses. We never really had a chance to check out some of the food and beverages though.
Last year, we did the late night express. We bought it around 11pm, and the park closed at 2am. Honestly, it made the entire night worthwhile. We got to see everything, and didn't have to wait. It made our judgement on the houses more fair, because the 90 minute wait was gone. Mind you, the Haunting of Hill House maze was a full 90 minutes. I straight watched the ENTIRE Texas Chainsaw movie on my phone with my lady. It was really that long. Buy express.
So many families can’t afford regular theme park visits anymore so it’s important to save BUT very few park RUclipsrs keep it real and call out parks on exorbitant prices and try to get viewers to save. Thanks for keeping it real 🥰
i can already hear people being like OmG WhO WoULd WaNnA Go ThRoUgH ThE HoUsEs WiTh ThE LiGhTS On WhAt A WuSS blah blah blah but as someone who simultaneoulsy LOVES all things halloween AND has a massive anxiety trigger of sudden loud noises (such as, someone jumping out and screaming at you), i would absolutely appreciate that type of tour. I can't go through haunted houses because of those sudden scares - i'd have to be taken out by EMTs! But I would really really really like to SEE them
Loved your video! Definitely coming to HHN, this is a great event and the houses and scare zones are so creative. Happy to hear the Fuel show is back, that was a terrific show.
So excited to see all the HHN videos, I will be living vicariously through you Dev! Halloween season is something I miss dearly since I have moved to Cape Town 😢 Have you been offered to do the media event this year so you can film inside the houses? HAPPY HAUNT SEASON 👻🎃👻🎃👻🎃👻🎃👻🎃
Thanks for the videos and the HHN 31 news. The beginning did sound like a commercial and like you were a promoter for Universals HHN. Love your videos and I hope to see you in the park one of these days.
Thank you for a great video! My husband and I are passholders. We really like how informative your videos are. We have never done HHN but go for Christmas due to hubby's birthday. Keep it up!
Thanks for another great video Dev! I can’t wait for Halloween Horror Nights this year! Still kinda upset about stranger things tho, should still be so much fun tho!
Hi, the HHN will be great. Glad that we can experience it through channel, it helps those of us who can't be there to experience it to. Thanks. This will be interesting. Be Safe Take Care
Thanks for the great update! I am going to HHN this year!!! But, this is going to be my first year and I Don't know what to expect! But, I have been to Howl O scream at Busch Gardens!
Hope to see you and Bianca in the fog when I’m at HHN in Sept! And I agree - express is so worth it, especially if you plan to go to HHN only one night and want to do all the houses. Note that it isn’t unlimited - one express use per house - but it’ll free up enough time that you can visit every house and even revisit some of your faves via standby when the crowds thin out toward the end of the night. It also leaves time to experience the Nightmare Fuel show and all scare zones. Plus, express will save your feet from having to walk through miles of switchbacks in the standby queues. Last year, we did Stay and Scream in Central Park, made a beeline for the Haunting of Hill House to beat the regular crowds to the standby line; then later, using our express passes, we repeated Haunting of Hill House. Really worth it to go through houses twice bc we got better scares later in the night.
Thanks Dev! Im coming over from the UK and doing horror nights for 1 night so it’s really helpful to have your video to pre plan where everything is going to be. I’ve done horror nights in lots of previous years but there seems to be a more excited buzz in the air this year! Im looking forward to watching all your Halloween adventures this year 🎃
Wouldn’t another good tip be that if you choose to is turn right before you reach the first scare zone by Minion Mayhem since a lot of people will want to go there when they enter
I’m trying to decide if HHN is worth a trip from Boston. Stranger things would have been awesome 😩 Thanks for the info on this dev! You’re one of our top inspirations we would love for you to see our channel 🤗
Last year was the first time doing HHN and I got express for my mom and I and we will now never go back. It was amazing to breeze through the line. This year I am thinking about doing VIP with a group but she has trouble walking fast and I'm not sure if they will slow down for her.
We did RIP Tour last year and didn't feel rushed. You're in a small group of around 10-12. Maybe even see if she can ride the scooter from house to house and then walk the maze inside the house? Def talk to Universal Customer Service. They are great with helping, especially with any special needs. Hope y'all have a great time!
I would say yes. However, if you're staying on property, are you also going to be going to the park during the daytime of the same night you visit HHN? If so, you won't need to buy an additional Stay-and-scream pass, because you will already have both daytime park tickets and nighttime HHN tickets.
Last year was my first year and it was perfect for me, with mask and plexiglass. It was great to let me test it out as I'm very scared by it. So I'm getting nervous for this year. Not only will they not have mask or glass, but they house are looking really good. But I don't think I will be able to even think about going in the bug house. Thank you for a great video. We have tickets for September 21.
I can definitely see your point Vicki. It was nice having the plexiglass for safety reasons and it wouldn’t make it as scary for the people who are beyond scared but I’m glad it’s going to be back to normal this year God willing. Have so much fun!!
If I were you, I would get a 2-Park Park-to-park pass so you can visit USO & IOA in the same day. Then, just get a single-night HHN ticket for the next evening. I would also add you may want to either Stay-and-scream or get Express Passes/ or an RIP Tour since you're only going to HHN one night. It may be hard to go through all the houses in one night. Hope this helps!
Can you do a video or something about the tickets and kids. My daughter just turned 7 and we both are addicted to anything scary, bloody.... The whole nine and I would like to go to HHN but I don't want to buy the wrong ticket.
It’s not just for pass holders it’s for everyone but maybe the stay and scream tickets have been all sold out? I would keep checking or I would give universal a call.
Thanks again for another great video. We're coming down at the end of September for our first HHN visit. What do you think about the "Halloween Horror Nights Scareactor Dining Experience"? It looks like we can get a reservation at 5:15 and then they lead us to a holding area (assuming 'Stay and Scream'). I'm thinking we need to eat around that time anyway and if it guarantees us a spot in 'Stay and Scream' and we can spend some of the usual waiting time having dinner instead of just standing in the SnS area then it would be worth it.
This isn't an answer to your direct question but I fyi, I've been to HHN in LA and FL. This is not a scary event -- at least not for me or anyone in my family. These are low to mid scare level houses despite being advertised as "intense." They don't break up the groups and you see every "scare" coming. The triggers in the houses weren't based on movement -- cuz no group separation -- just timers. You may need to do each house 2 or 3 times to see everything you should've seen the first time. I know it's not your question but hope it helps.
Hey Mark! I’ve never done the scare actor dining experience but I plan to go this year so I’ll have a video out sometime in early September. But I have heard really good things about it because you get so much food, the actors come to you for photos and yes I believe they will take you right in one of the stay and scream areas so you can get that benefit of going inside 1 or 2 houses before the event officially starts.
I’ve been using stay and scream for over 5 plus years as a passholder and I’ve never had to purchase a stay and scream ticket. You can always call universal to get more information.
We added stay and scream to our hhn tickets. It was $35 per ticket and we can enter from 3pm-5pm.
Good information. Thanks for sharing!
Don’t stop making videos! Me and my mom love watching. Keep being yourself!
Awe thank you both so very much!!
Last year, we did the late night express. We bought it around 11pm, and the park closed at 2am.

Buy express.
Do I need express for Halloween night?
I’m glad they finally announced all the HHN houses! Two more weeks till HHN!!!
So many families can’t afford regular theme park visits anymore so it’s important to save BUT very few park RUclipsrs keep it real and call out parks on exorbitant prices and try to get viewers to save. Thanks for keeping it real 🥰

Thanks for another great video Dev! I can’t wait for Halloween Horror Nights this year! Still kinda upset about stranger things tho, should still be so much fun tho!

Wish I could be there. Sounds like a lot of fun.
Excited for HHN!! I’ll be there September 5-9.

Hi, the HHN will be great. Glad that we can experience it through channel, it helps those of us who can't be there to experience it to. Thanks. This will be interesting. Be Safe Take Care
We are going Oct 22nd for my 40th birthday and I am sooooo excited!!
Thanks for the great update! I am going to HHN this year!!! But, this is going to be my first year and I Don't know what to expect! But, I have been to Howl O scream at Busch Gardens!

I’ll be there the third week of October and I’m so excited! I’m hoping we can get all of the things done in just one night🤞
Happy Halloween 🎃 pcvdev
Thank you 😊 💓 ☺️ 💗 💛 💖 😊 💓
Got my Frequent Fear Pass yesterday!!! 🎃👻🎃 HHN is my favorite annual Orlando event!
Will be there in four weeks, I cannot wait!!
So if you are attending Universal Studios the day of HHN and have a HHN ticket can you wait in the "stay and scream" areas?
Yes you sure can!
Thanks Dev! Im coming over from the UK and doing horror nights for 1 night so it’s really helpful to have your video to pre plan where everything is going to be. I’ve done horror nights in lots of previous years but there seems to be a more excited buzz in the air this year! Im looking forward to watching all your Halloween adventures this year 🎃
I’m glad I can help Becky! Yes there’s definitely something in the air for this years event. Safe travels!
Halloween horror nights are going to be so good
Great video! Hope to go one day when my plans to move to Florida becomes a reality!
Going opening weekend! Kind of sad that severe thunderstorms are predicted that weekend, but it makes me feel better that I got express passes 🤷🏾♀️
Alway a great time watching you
I wish I could bring my family down. Enjoy
I want them to bring back the Chucky interaction scare zone!!! so much fun
Yeah that was one of the best scare zones of all time!
I’m so sad you missed Max as Power Line :-(. It looks like you had an amazing time though!
My first year cannot wait
YAYYYY! HHN Houses Announced! 🎊👻🎃
Definitely want to try HHN one time Dev, thinking 2025 when Epic is open and combine the lot 💫
Just bought my ticket Frequent Fear(S/W/T) and I can't wait!!!!
🎃🎃🎃🖤🖤🖤👻👻👻
I've been going since 2003, it's the best time of the year!!!
Wouldn’t another good tip be that if you choose to is turn right before you reach the first scare zone by Minion Mayhem since a lot of people will want to go there when they enter

I'm attending HHN for the first time in September. If I'm already at the park and staying at a resort do I still need to add on the Stay and Scream?
Last year was the first time doing HHN and I got express for my mom and I and we will now never go back. It was amazing to breeze through the line. This year I am thinking about doing VIP with a group but she has trouble walking fast and I'm not sure if they will slow down for her.

hey there's me @ 25:49 LMAO

We are here now from the UK and it is our mission to catch you at universal and grab a photo with you 👍🏻
I think I would not be walking with a drink through the scare zone, because I would most likely throw it or drop it. 😊
Hey Dev, would you be a scary doll and list the premier passholder HHN dates for our free ticket dates?
I hope The Blumhouse maze will have Freddy Fazbear.
Love your beard
Have you been to IAAPA?
20:51 yes I hope 🤞 they will have pumkin pie 🥧
Do I need express pass for Halloween night?
I always suggest Express if you only visit one night. Plus, Halloween night usually tends to be quite busy.
We are headed to Orlando for HHN and other fun. Is opening night the best night to attend?
I will save my money 💰 🤑
Thank you for your non Disney vlog
Please someone explain how HHN works?! I want to do one day just USO & IOA rides, then the next day just HHN.
If I were you, I would get a 2-Park Park-to-park pass so you can visit USO & IOA in the same day. Then, just get a single-night HHN ticket for the next evening. So bummed we didn't get a Stranger Things house or even 1 or 2 more IP driven houses...... maybe it's just me
Can you do a video or something about the tickets and kids. My daughter just turned 7 and we both are addicted to anything scary, bloody.... The whole nine and I would like to go to HHN but I don't want to buy the wrong ticket.
is stay and scream for pass holders only? i looked on the website and don't see stay and scream offred to purchase except for pass holders
It’s not just for pass holders it’s for everyone but maybe the stay and scream tickets have been all sold out? I would keep checking or I would give universal a call.
do you get a discount a discount on tickets even if you’re an annual pass holder ?
I believe pass holders get a small discount for HHN tickets or frequent fear passes online only this year.
stay and scream or express pass? which do you think is better?
You can’t go wrong with either! I’ve had really great luck with both options but if I had to pick express all the way.
@@PCDev thanks budddeeee. I appreciate you taking the time to answer and hope I run into you during my visit. Stay well. Keep up the great work!

Have they confirmed if the weekend is going to do a concert?
No concert announced and they usually don't have concerts during HHN.
Hi we will have a ultimate park pass and are staying in a universal hotel will we have to pay extra hhn please reply IAM confused.
Thanks
Peter
Yes you will have to pay extra for HHN unfortunately because it’s a special ticketed event.
Going to hhn for the first time. We sessonal annual pass holder and we was going to buy stay ticket. Are u sure we don't need to buy a stay ticket
I’ve been using stay and scream for over 5 plus years as a passholder and I’ve never had to purchase a stay and scream ticket. You can always call universal to get more information.
i have done the unmasking before. It is really cool but it kind of kills the house for me but just my opinion.
wait so the first house will be in the minions queue rather than in shrek, is this due to the construction ?
Do you think scare dinning is worth it?
Sting ally is where I sit and wait for hhn to start why they take my sit away
Really, when I went to hhn 19 I didn't have to pay for parking. Unless they changed it
We still have the final season of stranger things for them to use don’t lose hope just yet!!!
Keeping the vid at 31 mins for HHN 31...I see what you did there Dev lol
LOL
