The amount of people I caught off guarding doing it is crazy, even managed to do it several times to the same person over the span of several years too. But its a 1 time thing, if you don't get them after the first crouch then they'd expect it maybe
I love the transition to the pistol especially. It's something that I haven't heard covered much in CQB vids before. They talk a lot about maneuvering the rifle but in certain spaces, it just makes sense to go to the pistol. Great work!

better manipulation of the weapon when clearing angles ill never forget at OSUT/AIT we were in the clearing house and i got my weapon hooked because my arms are long af and i didn't have my hands postured on my weapon properly i also saw another trainee get his weapon jammed in the doorway lol
Movement and entries are good. It's much better to put a real enemies and to see if he's gonna get hit or not. Having this skills are great, but I still won't do a 1 man cqb if I have a choice
Um, if you're talking about Ukraine in an all out ground war? Yup. If we are talking about a man in a civilian zone protecting himself, his family, or others, this is the way to do it, if you are forced to. Typically you don't want to clear a room alone, should be minimum 3 guys but sometimes your hand may be forced.
there's no way you seriously think this is just "fancy looking"... if so, then you're sadly mistaken... he's practicing + training with techniques that have real world application in many different scenarios/fields....how realistic it is to clear every single room with grenades??? and you've never heard of something called element of surprise??? what about private security and police officers?? do you think real life combat is some action movie where you can just spray and pray?
Unless all out declared war, grenades are not part of ROE. Furthermore very impractical for clearing multiple rooms particularly in homes or offices with thin walls. The grenade will take not only the bad guys out but possibly assaulters as well.

Non moving targets dont pose a threat. Also the environment is not at all like what it is in real life. In real life places can be a mess, furniture everywhere maybe trash and other things on the ground and in the way, bad lighting, sound distractions. Besides all that i think this guy already knows the entire layout of the "killhouse". This not at all represents his skill in a cqb environment
This is the type of comment I always expect to see. "This sparring session isn't real because the opponent isn't trying to tear his eye out or bite his face". Bro... it's one part of the training, chill. Not every exercise has to be Navy SEAL levels of detailed compound recreations with simunition and opponents with fake knives and other simunition rounds ready to blast you. Not only is that usually quite expensive, it's requires a lot resources not everyone has access to 24/7.
Nice job, but they said that "Do not on your knee" when you do CQB, cause the shot will goes down a little bit, you might get a head shot if you on your knee.
i prefer to go low while performing a pie, because if for example i open a door, initiate a pie and its a corner fed with a doorway on the corner facing me, i can have the wingman point a muzzle on the doorway and i can keep slicing the door i opened
All this looks cool and cinematic, but it absolutely does not work in reality. There are a lot of mistakes, and in general I perceive this as pampering, but still: Looking around the corner at face height, where the enemy will be waiting for you in the sight, is a mistake; Your toe often turns out to be behind the line of sight, which will betray your presence for a split second (it is worth noting that you are really confident and you're moving fast); If there's mining in the building, you wouldn't be so fast anymore ;) ; You change weapons from hand to hand-okay, but for such a distance, does it even make sense to rest it? You will surely hit the target, and she will hide your silhouette as much as possible by resting it on the outside of your hand, besides its length will be reduced, which will make the work more convenient. I could tell you more, but I will refrain from doing so. Most things are trivial, and observation and analysis of actions are enough. I get that switching shoulders is all the rage now on instagram but in reality that is not something actually practiced. Purposely forcing yourself to shoot on a less reactive shooting hand and with your non dominant eye is an almost guaranteed way to be slower on target acquisition and presentation of the gun. Not even ROK SEALs are doing this with real rounds and in real simulations. Outside of "tactical cqb" grifters on instagram, no one actually does constant shoulder switching in really any kind of context. It doesnt make sense for longer distances and in CQB you're encouraging being slower. There are practically zero Multigun, 2 gun or IPSC rifle world champion shooters that actively practice switching shoulders.

yes you can get an arm blown off when it shows before your gun so just be careful but the c clamp grip does require a higher elbow than 1970s us military doctrine
There’s no right or wrong decision being made here. He made the transition after acknowledging the tight dead space which allowed for better manoeuvrability. If he used his rifle he would have to retain it when committing to the corner which can lengthen the time it takes to acquire a sight picture and take accurate shots. With a pistol he doesn’t need to worry about that. Speed, surprise and violence of action my man
Speed is the key of CQB...You will lose the initiative right after you opened the door in the real fight....the enemy would be well prepared when you were doing the peek...

There’s no right or wrong decision being made here. He made the transition after acknowledging the tight dead space which allowed for better manoeuvrability. If he used his rifle he would have to retain it when committing to the corner which can lengthen the time it takes to acquire a sight picture and take accurate shots.
