Respect needs to be earned, regardless of how far England go in this tournament, Southgate never learns from his mistakes as a coach. He's approaching a century of matches with England, and is still responsible for the same basic errors he's always made.

But is gareth smart like that? because why did he take gordon, palmer, manoo and not put them out there? when he could have taken Madison, grealish, rashford, henderson (who all have no injurys) i think the media and fans put so much pressure on him after the denmark game that they kinda forced his hand, and he played the quality inform players against slovenia...earlier than he anticipated.

Gareth Southgate completely changed the mentality and togetherness of England when he took over. We had a superb World Cup in 2018, a superb Euro in 2020. Granted his time now looks like it’s up but the abuse this man is receiving is disgusting.
