That guy is a lifelong friend of Rob's and he was not only here but played Santa Claus in Home Free's Holiday Special last November....he's hilarious and does a podcast with Rob called "The Avid Indoorsmen" which is bi-monthly I think...they review movies & TV shows, and have frequent guests on that include members of Home Free

The guy in the overalls is Rob's probably-best friend, Eric Buegler. Together they host a podcast about their love of movies called The Avid Indoorsmen. Eric is an a capella singer himself, tenor for The Sound Exchange. He was also in the Home Free video for Honey I'm Good, has appeared on stage with Home Free, and obviously he has absolutely no shame. He's awesome.
To answer your question about what Austin was doing during "The Thong Song", he is singing the really high note and using his index finger to give the quick, but subtle vibrating accent to it.

I love that they stuck with their country-boy respect for women in this video and used their own butts instead. If you haven't done it already, you would probably get a laugh from their original song "Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget" with a special guest cameo. I know you've done several reactions to Geoff Castellucci. Although he's not in the video, he did the arrangement for Home Free's collaboration with The Oakridge Boys doing their hit "Elvira". Also, I don't see reactions to two of their biggest hits, "Ring of Fire (with Avi Kaplan)" and "Man of Constant Sorrow".

There's an interview with Chris Rupp (on y/t) where he says this was his pet project. His & Adam's sister had worked with a modeling agency and that's where the women were from. Since they didn't want to objectify the women the only 'butts' are theirs. Austin choreographed the line dance and the man in the one-shoulder overalls is a friend of Rob's (he's in other videos and co-hosts with Rob on Rob's channel).

I'm sorry Austin cracks me up in this.. with the ball cap on and looking like the nerd from hell.. So happy in later videos he looked so better.. the voice and the look came together for him...
There's an interview with Chris Rupp (on y/t) where he says this was his pet project. His & Adam's sister had worked with a modeling agency and that's where the women were from. Since they didn't want to objectify the women the only 'butts' are theirs. Austin choreographed the line dance and the man in the one-shoulder overalls is a friend of Rob's (he's in other videos and co-hosts with Rob on Rob's channel).
I really think you two would like their version of "This Is How We Roll."
