Agreed. I loved the last episode because he finally had her speechless while he exposed his upper hand for the first time instead of her constant verbal berating of him (which gets old to me)
@@doccdog77 Very true, but again she had the last word against jamie, i always hated that, like why has beth to win every discussion in this show like why are the writers so far up her ass it's frustating to watch.
Honestly I think the big twist is this will be the first time, where Rip and Beth are in the dark.....I really feel like Jamie and John plotted something earlier, because no family can be THAT EVIL towards their adopted son/brother.......

I hope so, because jamie doesn't deserve the hate he gets from the familiy, i always hoped that kayce talked to his father about that, they should bring beth to the trainstation at this point.
Im hoping Jamie is playing Sara Atwood’s character. I’m hoping he knows she’s manipulating him to do what she wants.
I hope he tells John what she is planning for Beth and find out more on who she works for.

What makes you think a Jamie is not in on this with Sara knowingly ? Beth abuses him, John Abuses him. They have denied him his heritage - which Garrett’s told him he deserves. Jamie knows as long as they are alive his child will have nothing.
@Jill Neeld Jamie deserves his heritage? He has been written out of the Dutton family trust, off the payroll and isn't a blood relative. Isn't his "heritage" whatever Garrett left him? 🤔
I just finished watching this episode... I totally love the show... Especially Beth and Rip... Kayce is a great son... And I feel sorry for Jamie, he's so tormented and is a tragic character..... This last episode is a real cliffhanger which I cannot wait to see how it plays out... But I have a feeling Jamie is going to end up at the train station sooner or later...
Karen Fyhr we are on the same page re the characters. I cannot help but feel sad for Jamie from Day 1. A real Shakespeare's tragic figure always on the losing end and craving acknowledgement. Sadly he is manipulated by insincere characters such as jailbird father and now slinky Sarah. Poor guy 😢
I also feel bad for Jamie and am now rooting for him to take down both his Dad and his sister. Also, I don't think he'll be the one to end up at the train station. That's way too obvious. It'd come as a much greater shock if Beth ended up there, which is honestly where she belongs much more than Jamie does...

Season 5 episode 8 is / was the cliffhanger for us to wait for the second half in... summer. A sad one ...empty range and John saying goodbye to Kayce....

I like watching how they fight for their land, the business dealings they end up having to do, the political stuff, and the day-to-day task of running the ranch. I also like how Rip is bringing up the young boy and teaching him the skills of being a cowboy.
All the relationship stuff and love dramas they could leave out. I'm sick of that.
I think another attack is gonna come on Beth, John, and Kacey. And I got a strange sense that a shocking death is gonna end the season, and we find out Jamie is behind it.
And maybe this is when Kacey might die
Honestly I hope Jamie gets some huge payback, the only one from the whole family that doesn’t treat him like dirt is Kayce

How did Beth know about “ the train station “ when Jamie dumped the body but apparently knows nothing in this episode?

Because Beth didn't know that's where the family has been disposing of their enemies, she thought it was just some random spot Jamie chose.

@@joe3755 That's a good question, my guess is Beth probably tracked Jamie's phone and saw he was heading toward Wyoming and probably waited for him at the state line to follow him to see where he would go, but probably didn't think Jamie would stop so soon.
@@randomchillguy55 So she knew which road he would take, got there ahead of him with no visable means of transportation, and somehow put a tracker on his phone to know where he was going, even though she got there before him.
See, I know you love the show because you're doing the writer's job for him. Sheridan didn't give ANY of the explanations you gave. What this scene really is is an inconsistancy that's big enough to be a plot hole.
Jimmy is my favorite storyline. I think Jimmy is going to help the young boys Tate and Carter as an expert cowboy and horseman.

How do I get thus to play
Pretty obvious Sarah is going to have had John killed by the time season 5 resumes, then next will be Beth in a car accident and dying on life support for a few episodes. Then she will expose Jamie with the picture Beth has on her phone and he will go to jail. Remember, she was hired to ruin the Dutton’s. That would leave Kayce as the inheritor and he is forced to sell the ranch.
Your show is dead. It died from its own stupidity.

John needs to lose something. He's been on a winning streak since the beginning. It would be nice to finally see Jamie reach his full potential of not being a pushback lapdog and start taking initiative and not get scared. I could see Jamie getting John out of office and then in a surprising twist, overcoming Beth but then John is the one to kill Jamie at the end. I do hope Jamie's son does not become a casualty. Cute kid.

I dont think jamie gets took to the train station most of the ones there are drifters and people with no family to report missing. Its gonna be almost impossible to dissapear the attorney general of the state. Maybe he dies but no train station

I think John and Jamie are working together.
Season 5 meandered a lot. It's like nothing was really happening to move the story and characters forward. Hardly any of the characters change and evolve. Beth is just the same character she was in the first season. At times it looked like she would change after certain scenes and events but nope. But then all the main characters are just plodding along and not growing. The 5th season is dragging its feet not going anywhere. Taylor Sheridan is a great writer so I'm surprised as to why it's gone this way.
Here’s what I’m thinking happens. Jamie is killed and is dumped at the train station. But he has a tracking device on him and ensures that law enforcement finds him. All the murders are exposed and John is sent to prison

I think the writers over did Beth character hate for Jamie by trying to portray a strong female character that's gotten very annoying. They tried so hard to villianize him and the audience isn't buying it.

It's a bad idea. She's one of the best parts of the show and her new brother loves you. Have to stay with the show Goodbye on the tubes. She makes the show and so there's a new brother with his wife. And a little boy if he leaves who's the background. I don't know how it would turn out if you was God. Hopefully he's not, but if the riders are smart, they'll keep death. They knew brother and his w you can solve the animal support and the father
I think Jamie will hire some people from New York to take Beth down but instead John would get in their way and they would mistakenly kill John Dutton, which we all know that Mr. Kevin Costner is thinking of leaving the show. That would cause a pretty big war between Jamie and Beth, also the end of Jamie. That's also the perfect time for Rip to find out about the real reason why he can't have a child with Beth. Not saying John's death would not be enough reason for Rip to take out Jamie but finding out Jamie is behind John's death and his baby's would really make Rip go nuts.
Another thought I have but I really hope not! Jamie would end up killing Rip instead of Beth. Cause after watching different kinds of shows and movies like this including GOT, TWD, Sopranos, The Godfather and many many others.
Everytime there is a badass and most lovable character, they end up killing that character and most of the time, the person behind the killing is someone very weak and stupid like Jamie or someone who doesn't have the guts to do it themselves but ended up getting lucky. That would be devastating but I really hope not LOL 😅
Killing off one of the best characters and most loved in the show such as Rip or Beth would kill the show.. because viewers would stop watching...
And Jamie is far from stupid or lacks guts, since he shot his own father in the head..

@@karenfyhr2363 Yeah I remember that. He did that only because he was afraid of what Beth could do to him so he had no other choice. Well, he's smart, for a Harvard graduate and an attorney, but he ain't that smart not like JD or Beth and the only way he could kill someone is by shooting them from behind or betraying them just like his plan for Beth.

They said second half of season 8 beginning the summer of 2023 well, that is wrong. It started January 8th of 2023. So what else have they been wrong about. If you have been following these folks, you realize how the have been trying to raise our suspicions about upcoming episodes.
