Grace is the most incredible, powerfully talented artist that I've seen in ages. The band is so incredible, my favorite of all time! I was a performer/guitarist/ bassist for years and I always wanted to have a front girl like her in the group.
I love this gals voice!! I'm British so I only came across Grace whilst watching One Tree Hill [when she sang with Haley] and I've been hooked ever since. Downloaded every album and now I'm such a fan! That voice is outta this world! Crazy! Love it!! :D
pssh . . smokin all pretenders today - hands down. SMOKIN HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Evey single member of this band can play and every member is drippin charisma. Rare combo. Good to see rock is not dead.
@diamondback604 Well its a matter of opinion. Listen to her cover of Otis Redding's Pain in My Heart or her performance at the Boston Music Awards. Neither of the singers you mentioned, in my opinion, even come close. Her peers from the rock era are only Janis and Aretha.

their whole setup kind of reminds me of fleetwood mac but as good as her voice is by today's standards she can't hold a candle to Stevie Nicks or Grace Slick. Sorry honey nice try. still tho a pretty decent song and possibly the best band today.
For the record, I'd like to state that Grace Potter was pretty hot before she went blonde and started wearing short skirts. However, I don't disapprove of the short skirts :/
I think she's an amazing singer, but any other guitar players out there notice she only seems to play in open E tuning? I've found 4 different songs where she plays guitar and in every one she is playing 1 finger chords. I realize it's a nit pick, but I prefer if you're going to hold a guitar you should know how to play it better.
