Don’t get your hopes up that it’ll be good. They haven’t made a decent story since 4. And they completely screwed themselves with Infinite by basically wasting a campaign on doing nothing but writing off halo 5, which they still are having to finish writing off in the books. All they had to do was make halo 6 a proper finale to Halo 5’a story. They could have still had the banished and zeta halo.
I hope they really go out on making the CE remake feel like a reimagining, adding things that they didn’t have time for in the original. Including adding lost levels, brutes, and maybe even hints to the endless.
If they keep the Banished around, add in Insurrectionist characters working with the Banished (perhaps even Banished Spartans), get rid of the Endless and then bring back the Precursors then i'll be happy. The Arbiter and the crew of the Spirit of Fire should be the main allies of Master Chief in the next game. I wouldn't be against a conflict with ONI - which could either be regarding Flood research/containment sites or a follow-up on Hunt the Truth.

The last thing we need is some other huge story element being glossed over or retconned In the next game before it's had time to grow.

I’m just super psyched for the future of Halo tbh. Whether it’s a CE remake, project Tatanka, Halo Wars 3, or even another mainline game. Halo still has so much going for it and so much potential, and I hope the new management at Halo Studios sees that, and implements it into their future development

If they're going to add new cosmetics can their next sets for operations be themed around odsts and/or marines, getting tired of banished armor unless they add armor themed around the hunters. When will they finally give Eaglestrike some attention, feels like Yoroi is the favorite armor core of the fractures sets.

Halo 4 was actually pretty good. The last genuinely good halo campaign. Halo 5 was where things got sloppy, and infinite just crumbled under writer fatigue. I’d rather them restart after 4.

I remember all the flaws of H3 and the Gravity Hammer made the game unplayable as an FPS.. which is also why H3 lost all the momentum of the franchise and H3 lost to CoD. Microsoft put a clown nose 🤡 on the Greatest FPS of all time.. Ranked Halo is way better than CoD, and 8v8 Ranked can add vehicles. It's just a complete failure. Halo Infinite is actually a fantastic game, 8v8 Ranked would've been amazing, but Microsoft went All-in on casual "social Playlist" and failed extra hard.

My main hope for Halo 7 is that it continues the story that Infinite set up, I do think there’s a lot of potential.

The Physics engine is the Havok engine. they just renewed it. The game engine is separate from the physics engine.
