  • This video tests the EV6 GT and its performance on snow/in 0 F degree weather. The vehicle is in OEM configuration save for swapping the tires to CrossClimate 2's by Michelin. OEM size was maintained. The vehicle was driven from -7 to 9 degree weather during the course of my morning, per the vehicle's temperature read-out. The overall mi/kwh consumption over 85.7 miles was 2.0. The initial SoC was 100%, and the ending SoC was 44%, with a predicted 64mi of range left, for a total of 149.7, as compared to the initial "guestimate" of 163 in Normal mode and 158 in Sport mode. I drove in a combination of Sport and Normal modes, roughly 10/90% in that order. Sport was better for backroads as it "locks" you into AWD. This creates a predictive inaccuracy of roughly 5% shy. It is also worth noting that I left the vehicle "running" for about 5 minutes total, as well, to maintain cabin heat.
