shiny volcarona! now this hunt was so much fun, i love this moth pokemon so much and it was really exciting getting to hunt it in the dlc! definitely a target i recommend going for! ~ ^_^ hope you all enjoy! ♡

congrats buttercup! volcarona has a seriously beautiful shiny! the critical capture fake out was so rude but honestly i find that it happens more often than not 😪 in the end tho i think the repeat ball looked great! the arrows when it's thrown out really match the shiny!

I saw a vid today where you can save a few steps away from a static spawn and when you check to see its shiny, you can lock in the shiny. Each new spawn you have to save then encounter it but it works. Someone wanting Shiny Virizion in a Dream Ball did this and they used the camp method. If they failed to catch in a Dream Ball, they reset and attempted to catch the Shiny Virizion again

Volcarona is tied for my favorite Pokemon with the Bulbasaur line and Slither Wing. Such a nice shiny, but I do like the original more.

I found one randomly in the desert area of the Isle of Armor that I caught in a Lure Ball one time in my Pokemon Sword and I even evolved one from a Shiny Larvesta I caught from a Mass Outbreak in my Pokemon Scarlet. I hatched 2 Shiny Oshawotts and found a Shiny Exeggutor with the Scowling Mark.

@@buttercupxo also fyi, critical capture increases the chance of you catching the pokemon but it is not guaranteed. i got a crit capture while trying to catch darkrai and it also broke out

Congrats! Unfortunately critical captures have never been guaranteed to work. They just reduce the number of shakes needed to catch the Pokemon

Not going to lie but when I first saw this fire bug type in this game when you go underground in the sand where it sucks you in in black and white will you encounter it I really thought this was a legendary but it's not volcarona

What up buttercup congrats on your shiny moth and lemme tell you a story on how I got a shiny Volcarona. I was just doing random wonder trades in Pokémon home and traded like a lvl 5 Pokémon for a lvl 100 shiny Volcarona so I was very shocked. But anyways congrats again and have a good rest of your day!
