이케아에서 눈독 들이던 바드홀마 아일랜드 식탁을 드디어 데려왔습니다!
흑흑 진짜 너무너무 무거워서 차에 겨우 실었는데 차문이 안닫혀서 멘붕 왔다가 어찌저찌 닫혀서 집에 데려왔더니 북유럽 사람들은 시간도 많고 힘도 센 것일까요 우습게 봤다가 정색했다가 울면서 완성했습니다... 부디 배송+조립서비스를 쓰시길 바랍니다...
하지만 저희 집 분위기도 바뀌고, 수납공간도 많고, 예쁘고, 넘나 튼튼해서 아주 만족하고 있어요! 고앵이 캣박스를 옆에 놨더니 오르락 내리락 하기도 좋고 신나해요:)

Last week, I’ve got a brandnew kitchen island from #IKEA.
It was way too hard to finish the look but I’d say it does worth my whole journey to getting a briliant makeover. And my cat loves it so much which is also important to us!
The price is reasonable, it is durable and has a lot of space to stack some garnets and stuff that made my kitchen messy. Finally I feel like everything is well-organized!
I’m so happy to share this video with whoever looking for a handy&durable island.

I'm planning on also getting this, i can see that you have removed the second shelf to fit larger items which is smart. Do you happen to know the dimensions of the under compartment, without the second shelf? I just wanna know if i can fit my larger stand mixer and rice cooker under there. Also do you think the top shelf is sturdy enough for a plant? I was planning maybe getting a vining plant and let it drape down the sides.

YumYum Hi! Yes i just skipped the second shelf to put my legs and store some items at the same time. So I added a woody shelf which kinda make 2 level storage. We asked if we can make it without the second shelf when we took a look at the island at IKEA, they said it would be okay. I don’t know how big exactly your mixer and rice cooker are, but I think it’s going to be okay. It is quite steady and spacious.
And If you mean the top shelf is the rack, it is sturdy enough and I’ve seen many people getting a vining plant on it. So It would be definitely okay!

Is it possible to remove the shelfs entirely and have chairs on both sides?
Kvesta Um... I don’t think so. Staff at ikea told that it would be okay to remove a shelf on one side. You might need to ask ikea about that for your safety. Thanks for watching!
Can you cut food on this table? I mean this table designed for that or no.
I don’t think so! It feels smooth on the surface but it’s got groove… so food would get into every groove probably

Omg I hope this is not too late! Must be larger ones! But I think it was a little uncomfy cuz it doesn’t give you much space for your laps and you have to lean forward to dine

Hey did you order it online? And if you did was the rack included with the $548 price tag? Cause I saw someone in the reviews say they bought it for this price but the rack wasn’t included
mistysuzumiya Hi! No, i didn’t. We got it at IKEA and struggled putting it into our car. It has so many components and they are so big. If you are planning to buy this I would recommend you to get it online.
I believe the price $548 doesn’t include the rack. The island is about $548 and the rack with 10 hooks is about $100. Thank you for your comment!
