Masking off tires before Paint

How I tape off tires before painting . I very much dislike OVERSPRAY on tire its one of my Pet peeves . People spend so much money on a paint job to have over spray on the New tires lol . Anyway hope yall enjoy .

Use Saran Wrap. It stretches and moldes itself and sticks to the tire. Trim with a razor blade, done.

You can also put tire shine or grease or some kind of oil on the tire just spray the whole thing then wipe it clean. If there new tires acetone will most likely take anything off without the grease because the tire will smooth non porous surface

If you break the bead you can put a trash bag over the tire and paint it then seat them back.

Check out how vicegrip garage does it with a garbage bag. That’s a better way.

Yes,my biggest pet peeve is over spray😂
Those smaller tires can a be a bare. I'd rather change a rear one at times.

It makes me mad to see a beautifully restored tractor something someone spent a few thousand on to have over spray on the NEW tires lol . GRRRRR
