My preferred set up is 3g of tungsten tape at 4 and 8 o’clock for the extra power bringing the swing weight to 110. It adds twist weight but at 7.45 stock you don’t notice too much of a difference. I’m still trying 1.5g at the top corners but I think this setup isn’t ideal for most people.
I’m about to order one I think. When you say 4 and 8 for weight is that the lower sides on this one or would it be lower corners? Thanks and I’ll use your code!

Great sounding paddle!! Thanks for the review!! I especially like the wide body and the high spin plus big sweet spot!! Control and spin are what I prefer! Sounds like my style!! 👍
The aspect that interests me the most is the elite stats in terms of spin, SW, and TW while being a controlled oriented paddle that really fits the style I want to play.
Liked! Sounds FAANTASTIC. Most interested in the combination of spin and hand speed. The stability and sweet spot also sounds amazing. Thanks for the review.
Great Review, as usual very useful and helpful information. The full Kevlar face is very interesting, the Forza shape is intriguing as well. Have been waiting to get a Ruby but after seeing this I might have to change that. Thanks!
Thank you!!! Bought it... Love it !!! my spin is incredible... especially on serve.... I have not added lead yet but maybe will check it out...Thank you.... Vince
I bought the M2F to counter the PPE and I've been playing with it for 4 months. While the M2F is a defensive dream, I'm going to need something that is still stout on defense with these gen3's dropping but also has better finishing power. It seems like the Apollo is the answer as it checks all the boxes!!
Great review! Had to enter my dad in for this giveaway. His game could benefit from a wide body, so that's what really interests me about the Apollo. Keep it up!
I was interested in the M2F16 for a long time but the Apollo's lower swingweight, higher twistweight, increased pop, and lower price tag prompted me to wait for the Apollo's release. Looks like waiting was the right call. Thanks for the reviews! 🙏
Sounds interesting for sure. I really enjoy the Mach 2 Forza but would like a bit more power and pop. This sounds like it may fill the bill. And with a lower swing weight than the Mach 2 Forza, there's a little more room to add lead while still maintaining a lower swing weight. According to the specs, it is also just a bit longer at 15.9 vs. 15.7 inches. I also find that appealing.
I’ve been waiting on delivery of a Volair Mach 2 Forza 14mm for 45 days and now this bad boy hits the scene! Looks great. I prefer a wide body paddle and I expect the spin/speed ratio with these paddles are going to make them exceptional for at the kitchen speed-ups. Let’s go.
I’m interested in the experiencing the shape versus elongated style I’ve used in the past. Plus durability of the finish after a few months is crucial.
Subscribed to your channel and have really appreciated the thought and methodology you put into reviewing paddles. Coming from a tennis background, I have no issue generating power so you may have sold me on this one as an upgrade over my Amazon special!
I made the decision to buy it. Your review was the most helpful for me, in making that decision to buy it, and PB Pursuit reaffirmed it. Thank you, I used your code for it!
Spartus was one of the first D2C paddle companies I considered when I first wanted to upgrade from a cheap Amazon paddle. I ultimately didn't go the Gladius Centurion route, but now the Apollo has me interested for the high stability factor.
Liked and subscribed. I currently play with a Vatic Pro Prism Flash. I’d like to try a paddle with equal spin to the Flash, but with a bit more pop and power without sacrificing much control. I’ve been struggling with tennis elbow, so the slightly lighter swing weight is very attractive, too. This could be a perfect fit for what I’m looking for. Thanks for the review!
I don’t have tennis elbow so I can’t comment on that. The Apollo and Ruby both have less vibration feedback so I imagine that won’t be any worse if not help.

exceptional twist weight, eyed on this paddle quite long time, you are the 1st one reviewed it on RUclips, thanks a lot.
Was about to buy the m2f 16. The Kevlar on the wide body shape and lower sw along with the price point interests me. Thank you for the review.
The wide face interests me, never played with a wide face nor Kevlar paddle, would love to try one out! Thanks for the review!
Great sounding paddle!! Thanks for the review!! I especially like the wide body and the high spin plus big sweet spot!! Control and spin are what I prefer! Sounds like my style!! 👍
It’s nice to see the first Kevlar wide body paddle now available!
i think its really neat that theres finally a budget friendly top tier wide body paddle im really excited to try one
I like that the handle is a decent size for a wide body paddle while have such a low swing weight is very appealing!
I am super excited about the high spin and low swing weight combo!
100% kevlar for $117 is a steal, love the sw and tw. Never used a wide body paddle before but this paddle might be the one for me
I’ve been waiting on this paddle! I’m interested in Kevlar in the widebody shape. All the stats that you just shared, make it even more desirable.
Great review, I have the Balista V2 and love it, looking forward to trying the the Apollo, very solid company that makes amazing Paddles.
I like that we’re starting to see more options in the wide body and standard shapes
Love the options
What interests me about this paddle is the low swing weight and the high twist weight. Sounds like a good combination for hands battles.
The aspect that interests me the most is the elite stats in terms of spin, SW, and TW while being a controlled oriented paddle that really fits the style I want to play.
That hand speed should be insane!
I love the massive twist weight and sweet spot of the Apollo!
It definitely seems enticing from the price.Standpoint would love to try it. Thanks for the review
Dude I finally gave wide body paddles a chance and I love it! Super crazy sweet spot! Would love to own that paddle great review!
Thank you, I’ve been loving widebodies this year
Liked! Sounds FAANTASTIC. Most interested in the combination of spin and hand speed. The stability and sweet spot also sounds amazing. Thanks for the review.
You’re welcome!
sounds awesome! that swing/twist weight is amazing!
Verrrry cool paddle. Would love to try something this wide!
Looks like a winner: great maneuverability, great control and great spin all at an affordable price.
Great Review, as usual very useful and helpful information. The full Kevlar face is very interesting, the Forza shape is intriguing as well. Have been waiting to get a Ruby but after seeing this I might have to change that. Thanks!
Thank you Dark Knight!
The price point is awesome for a paddle in its class!
Really digging the wide body paddles more and more
I like the stability and pop you get from the Apollo!
Interested to see the first wide body of its kind! Really wanting to upgrade my resets so it sounds perfect!
Really like the price to everything. Good pop with a low swing weight. Will be researching more. Thanks
Thank you!!! Bought it... Love it !!! my spin is incredible... especially on serve.... I have not added lead yet but maybe will check it out...Thank you.... Vince
Glad you love it!
I like that you show full points in your video.
Thanks! I’m trying to showcase the paddle as much as I can in the gameplay glad to hear you likes that portion.
I like this amount of spin and it seems like an excellent all around paddle
I’m interested in the Kevlar wide-body paddle, plus the good spin. Thanks for the great review.
You’re welcome, appreciate it!
i really like the shape of the wide-body paddles like apollo is doing with this paddle
The idea of Kevlar vs carbon fiber seems interesting plus it being so wide isn’t something I’ve used before
I wanted this paddle so bad for the shape and the kevlar. I have a Gladius Centurion already that i love from them
Been looking forward to this review. Was curious about how the widebody shape meshed with the kevlar surface. Thanks!
Great review. I’m another one looking for a paddle like the Ruby but with a little more pop and forgiveness. The Apollo sounds like my ideal paddle.
I think it sounds like what you are looking for
I’m very interested in this paddle because it has a huge sweet spot and high twist weight, but doesn’t sacrifice in the pop/power department.
The fast hand speed with this paddle would definitely be a fun change from the elongated paddles I’ve been using for sure.
so much kevlar recently lol, cool that the Apollo is wide body, hope the sweet spot is the sweetest to come
Kevlar takeover this spring

Was on the first pre-order round. Looking forward to the light swing weight combined with the high twist weight.
the wide body and kevlar are the most interesting aspects of the paddle.
I don't normally play with a wide body but it seems like it would be a super stable combo with the Kevlar.
I'm liking the widebody paddle! Also, I love the feel during play with my Ruby, yet the head is too heavy for me. This should be the ticket!
How does the grip feel as far as smoothness? I’m referring to not feeling the edgy bevels.
the poppiness of the apollo is the most interesting for me when compared to the ruby and m2f
Glad to see a wide body kevlar paddle. Especially with the 7.45 twist weight. Can't weight to play with thos paddle.
A widebody Kevlar paddle, quite unique.
Love that it had some pop. I’m looking for a wide body paddle.
Thanks for posting this review. I've been looking for a low swing weight high twist weight paddle and at this price, it sounds like a no brainer.
It really is, I just played with it again last night as I’m trying to figure out my tournament paddle and it just does everything I want it to do.
Great review! Had to enter my dad in for this giveaway. His game could benefit from a wide body, so that's what really interests me about the Apollo. Keep it up!
Thanks Matthew, first person I thought about when playing with this paddle was your Dad I hope he gets one soon!
@@AllDriveNoDropPickleball 🤣🤣🤣

Most interested in the spin and twist weight/ stability of the wide body
Appreciate your review. Really like all the attributes of this paddle. Seems like a paddle that would appeal to the majority of pickle ballers.
Wide body design and kevlar surface with low swing weight at a great price, got my interest.
Amazing swing weight and twist weight!
Nice big sweet spot with some good pop gotta get it. Wide bodies look good.
Very unique entry into the kevlar game. Legit contender to the M2F and better value! Sign me up.
So interested to try out the Kevlar wide body combo this is gonna be a game changer!
Huge sweet spot and the swing weight
Nice review! I’m most interested in the swing weight, but also excited about the sweet spot and wide face.
3 of the best attributes of the Apollo for sure
This paddle seems to be a rare one that performs great in all categories. Can’t wait to get one and confirm this!
I like the wide body shape without sacrificing much power or pop.

That is a great one too!

that really is a wide body wow!
I like wide body shapes! I do top spin and slice a lot and want the extra real estate.
Subscribed to your channel and have really appreciated the thought and methodology you put into reviewing paddles. Coming from a tennis background, I have no issue generating power so you may have sold me on this one as an upgrade over my Amazon special!
Appreciate the comment. Definitely consider getting that upgrade over hour Amazon paddle this is a great one to try.
I'm currently trying out the ruby. I truly love it. The mute feel is the only thing I have a problem with in the ruby
This looks like the perfect combination for me. I was actually choosing between the Honolulu PB J2K and the M2 F!
I made the decision to buy it. Your review was the most helpful for me, in making that decision to buy it, and PB Pursuit reaffirmed it. Thank you, I used your code for it!
I like the standard/wide body shape and would be interested in trying the Kevlar.
Can't wait to see how this performs for me vs. the M2F 16mm
Handspeed! Handspeed! Handspeed! That's what I've been loving about wide body paddles and interests me most about the Apollo!
Love the enthusiasm
Love to try the Kevlar wide body, looks different from RCF paddle!
Kevlar with that low swing weight is awesome. I like the ruby but it feels heavy at times.
Love the wide body. Gonna have to get my hands on one
very cool paddle with good specs
Great video. the high twist weight is intriguing.
I’ve never played with a Kevlar paddle or a wide body paddle, but this has me very interested in doing so!
Great content! Thanks for the great reviews! I would love to try this one.
Appreciate it!
The low swing weight with a big sweet spot from the width seems like it would combine very well with the kevlar for power.
Currently playing with a Mach 2 Forza, which I love. I'm very interested in the little bit of extra pop you get with the Apollo!
spin and twist weight is very nice.
I want a wide body. Kevlar is a bonus.

I'm super interested in that spin and large sweet spot 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Great review! The Appolo sounds like it will be the best wide body Kevlar paddle.
Thank you!
Don’t enter me in the giveaway but this is an insanely good paddle based on my first impressions. Up there with best value on the market!
Entered!!! JK. Agreed, this is hard to beat at $117z
i cant wait to try the apollo paddle when it comes out
I’m liking the wide body and Kevlar at this price point
most instrested in the Kevlar, so instristing how the grit will hold up over time
High spin in a widebody format at that price, sign me up!
Liked and subscribed. I currently play with a Vatic Pro Prism Flash. I’d like to try a paddle with equal spin to the Flash, but with a bit more pop and power without sacrificing much control. What interests me about the Apollo is I’m also all drive no drop and I want the Apollo to help me be all drop no drive 😅
Haha, love that you are living the all drive lifestyle. People get mad when I drop now. Not on brand of me.
High twist weight and spin for that price is very tempting...
Love the swing weight and the twist rate, seem like a Fun paddle!
As a beginner I’d like to try a wide body paddle to see if it would help my game. Thanks for your review.
Highly recommend trying this shape you’ll find it more forgiving
Interested in the the feel and touch of the wide body paddle with the kevlar.
