For Undertale's case, the latter is more true However in Yellow, I believe the fact that Martlet only took DT in order to fight and stop you makes the "are more powerful and important than they really are" more true. This is my reasoning for the Megalovania motif

Honestly I find this better than the original. when you inject determination into monsters their bodies start to melt and also this happens in this martlet and here the amalgam lemmotif is not used it is really nice it also means resetting the megalovania timelines and determination and it fits really well with martlet being determination
I like it but uh the begining part the way it sounds like the sounds that repeat I dont like the way you made it bc the part you changed is what makes the song so good.
