I applaud you sir. Having made many a trip offshore in a 1961,12 foot aluminum boat with a 1957 15 hp outboard in my younger days (early 50s) in pursuit of grouper in the Gulf of Mexico off the Florida. That old rig I wore out years ago but I always wanted a wooden boat with a small diesel engine. If you ever get the time, I'd love to watch you do a go over on your boat Thanks for bringing back old memories
This is why GP is the whole fisherman: it's not tackle, it's not stats and numbers, it's the being there; the location, the sounds and experience. Junk recycling for gear but decades of skill and knowledge to make it work. Fishing for the love of living. ❤️
Mr. Pullen, all I can say is thanks for years on brilliant and stunningly good videos on all sorts of fishing. I have been a fisher all of my life and still learning. After a few years of dabbling in to the sea fishing side of things I have decided to commit full time to the sea. Now I watch your older videos and and just find the info within them crucial to how I do my fishing. Many thanks for all you do, well done your amazing, you are one of a kind and an inspiration to all fishers the world over. Thankyou.
Thanks Graham, really enjoyed the video. Like the sea trips in the old boats. Still a bit early in the season as you said, but you were out there on a beautiful day and you brought up some decent fish. 🎣🐟🦈🏴☠️ Come down to Cornwall and give HSD a last shark trip before you sell her!
NOTHING LESS THAN SUPER 👍,,, WHAT A FANTASTIC CHANNEL,,, THANK YOU FOR SHARING AND DEDICATION THAT YOU BRING TO THOUSANDS OF US,,, WELL DONE 👍.. PLEASE BE SAFE AND CAREFUL…
Well done on the Carping session. They should be well on the bite by now,I must schedule a couple of night trips myself..Perfect chill time..No phone going off !!
Hi Graeme This was a really honest, relaxing and true video from yourself It was clear you had a great day out there. No fluff on your channel Graeme and that’s why your still the best. Steve in Fife
@@TAFishing Yes Graeme you keep it real with a ton of extra stuff added on. The best fishing channel out there, although it's not just fishing, it's about your life in general and your family's too. Much respect to you, Steve.
Really great video Graham. The Common Man out fishing, enjoying the time on the water. Recycling stuff into gear just makes sense, why spend $$$ when you can make it with a little time. I love tinkering with stuff like that. Enjoying your videos from Florida, USA. Best of luck!
Just ran across you young man your boat is beautiful I cut my teeth many years ago on wooden cruisers coming at you and your family blessings from the mountains of Southern Oregon
All aboard the Wild Duck!.with the quackiest engine in town....sme should give her nice wood a sandpaper n varnish...indeed those who use the inner tubes of fishing ...stand a good chance of hooking a rogue Porbeagle or even a Mako ....or ...even the mighty thresher If u scraped it that interesting object with a knife that u could maybe see the nature of its substance .....look good in an aquarium though... Interesting fishing ...one man and his boat..in his element..
Have you ever tried fishing with a broom handle with a few screw in eyes for rings? I'm sure you would catch fish on it! Not much rod action but plenty of strength! Cheap to make and great for those on a tight budget!
I've had some success for bream and wrasse on marinated anchovies from morrisons, with a bit of polish smoked sausage on the tip. Theres no telling what they'll eat.
The wild duck built by the Dixons boatyard Exmouth, running out of Beer, this boat is now called Duchess you must be on the 'Getting' there are congers further in just off Beer Head the ledge runs south. This boat in the 1960s had a Stuart turner 4 hp petrol engine the boat was built for Doughy Orley
You might be jealous of our sea fishing down in the South West but we're also jealous of your coarse fishing in the South East. Can't have it all (unless you live in Somerset/Gloucestershire where you're pretty near to everything good in angling😆)
I reckon Somerset is the best place..Great fishing, plus a couple of hours in several directions gives you great sea fishing and coarse fishing possibilities. Plus of coarse big reservoirs like Chew,Blagdon etc if you wanted fly fishing for trout.
someone should rite a song for you like your son you are legendary in my eyes years i have watched TA what a dream world brilliant grey topman gone well beyond
carl quick question ... not been fishing for over 15 years so been buying new gear ,,, bought a landing net light weight then but the net seperate but dont fit ? i thought they would always fit? any way round this ?
We were once out of Sidmouth in a hire boat like that….and the engine died. No communication, no instructions. I had messed with tractors- not one that didn’t start-, I had messed with bike engines- medium size, very fast. Stupid thing eventually started by which time we were a long way from land.
So we've got one guy in a very small old wooden boat .. multiple seas rigs maybe wanting rogue shark... Graeme. I only pray you don't get a rogue great white shark that decides to eaten your boot .. and yes before people say you don't get Great White sharks off Cornwall I'm sorry but you do all waters around the UK now have great white sharks and also great white shark sightings they love to eat your chum bags . RUclips is full of such videos and I certainly wouldn't be hunting sharks on a wooden boat with slow bob engine that is 12f b 6 foot boat that really should be on a lake and not in the channel. South coast Atlantic waters as I am not sure you're exact location but yeah I believe the boat should actually be in a lake... Truly got big huge kahunas
love your videos mate. Ive done so little fishing since had my first son last year. What's the deal with these wooden boats do you hire it, if so where from?
It looks as though you are just off Branscombe, presumably with a boat hired from Beer Beach. I recommend the Omelettes at the Dolphin Hotel, they're consistently delicious!

I love these **Totally Awesome Old Wooden Boat Fishing** Videos...
Impressive! These Man Alone trips are always good.
nothing better than watching some TAFishing while you get ready for a fishing trip 👍
Excellent. Very therapeutic.
Thanks GP. Really enjoyed that one. Great to see you out on the boat.
This channel should be on mainstream TV!
great video graham, nice to see another boat fishing trip. looked so relaxing and a few fish a bonus. keep em coming 👍👍
I'm a coarse fisherman but just love these vids. Fantastic viewing.

I just got back from carp fishing in Kent and had a blinding session and now i can relax with my dinner and watch Mr G in a boat. Brilliant!
Well done on the Carping session. They should be well on the bite by now,I must schedule a couple of night trips myself..Perfect chill time..No phone going off !!
Love those old wooden boat 1h long videos.
still loving the videos. really helped me out through the worst 6months of my life, and still learning bits from you every single video. much love
pleased the films have helped.
As always enjoyable and instructive, both!
That one snag you pulled up does look like an old pitted piece of iron, but from what I have no idea.
That rock is a meteorite, and could be very valuable!!!
I really like the old wood boats!! Thanks for sharing nice fishing allwas
Sea sticks thats a blast from the past I've cought pike on them as a kid 🐟
Love it Graeme, over an hour yessss! Thanks for all the uploads
My pleasure, glad you came along on the trip....almost as good as fishing...
@@TAFishing did you ever go back to Ireland for another go at the 6 gilled shark?
Hi Graeme
This was a really honest, relaxing and true video from yourself
It was clear you had a great day out there.
No fluff on your channel Graeme and that’s why your still the best.
Steve in Fife
Hi there Steve, hope all good up your neck of the woods. the only fluff on my channel are in those flies I cast when making a trout film.

Enjoyed that, GP. Thanks for filming. Uploaded my first fishing film (with my cat) this week, so thanks for the inspiration too! 🤘🎣
amazing 👍👍. I really enjoy this view. I've never had a fish this big.
I am not a fisherman but do enjoy your films 👍🏼
Great video. Sun sea and fishing 🌞⛵🎣👍

Nice day Graeme. These are the ones I like.
Lovely boat, great video. I think that lump was part of the meteorite that made the donosaurs extinct.
excellent and very entertaining video. thoroughly enjoyed it. cheers fella.
Hope i can still fish as actively as you do if I ever reach your age! Fantastic content as always.
Look like a great day on the water. I will be out on my wooden boat in a couple of days. Cannot wait
Frank rod 1, only you Graham could put a draw knob on the end of your rod as a butt rest and it make total sense. So simple, so effective. LEGEND👌🏻👊🏻
Great to see you back out, tight lines G.
Looks lush out there and some really nice fish and good fishing great vid 🎣
@Limp DickMick69 yes
After leaving next to beer for about 23 years I’m finally gonna take one of these boats out next month and I can’t wait!
The ‘Heath Robinson’ rod builder 😃😃🎣🎣🎣
Your my inspiration for RUclips and fishing everything I try I learn from you 👍
Those are bubbles from the molten metal bubbling from the heat of entry into the earths atmosphere!!!
So it was a valuable meteorite worth a small fortune....and I threw it back ??? Oh no.
That could be a chunk of a meteorite.
Thank you!
Excellent - as always.
Love that you brought back the Totally Awesome Intro! Do you own that old boat?
No,they are just self drives.
Just ran across you young man your boat is beautiful I cut my teeth many years ago on wooden cruisers coming at you and your family blessings from the mountains of Southern Oregon
Maybe that heavy thing was iron foundry slag used for ballast in a ship that sank and rotted away. Great video.

A true inspiration…to get off the sofa, thanks for a great video..
44:05 got me like WTF!?
44:12 had me all, 'oh phew'
Your not talking to yourself Graham, Smith and Mavis are on board don't forget. 😂
I’ve no idea how you manage all them rids 🤯 I would be in a right birds nest
drag your boat up to newhaven , and sample wreck fishing up this way ,, its great , ive done it for a number of years ,and caught alot of fish
Really enjoyed watching great stuff
Loving this Graham. I tryed crabsticks just a few whiting. But great when blitz fine in the food processor and in groundbait for carp.
I might try that for the Carp then...I reckon the sticks would work for something.
This was a fun watch
This geeza his a legend
Have you ever tried fishing with a broom handle with a few screw in eyes for rings? I'm sure you would catch fish on it! Not much rod action but plenty of strength! Cheap to make and great for those on a tight budget!
Oh I do like the drawer knob rod 👍
man you truly are living the dream.
Was that an iron meteorite? Would be worth $millions if it was a meteorite.
dam i love beer, please do more from here. you must stay at the top of the cliff with the mrs, beer holiday and camp site is amazing.
Will take note of that camp site.Thanks.
I was laughing so much in this video, my name is Frank haha been watching for years. Kelp em coming Graeme!
Meteorite!!!
Meteorite chunk of Mars...probably worth millions!
And I threw it back !!!!....
This is crazy going to sea in a small boat like this .. looking for large eels .. you are sight of land though
People go out in boats dozens of miles offshore every day. Graham knows what he is doing, if it wasn’t safe to go he would have stayed ashore. 🤷♂️
Meteorite. Worth a fortune.
Use MSM & DMSO for that wrist, MSM you mix with lemon water, DMSO apply topically, directly to your wrist 5X day!!!

GREAT SHOW when your wife and daughter say to you i like this guy TA GREY and enjoys all of your vids what does that say
I was beach fishing down that way last week couldn’t get through the spider crabs nightmare hooks stripped in 5 mins.
Fishing T-Rex hahaha I love your jokes!
carl quick question ... not been fishing for over 15 years so been buying new gear ,,, bought a landing net light weight then but the net seperate but dont fit ? i thought they would always fit? any way round this ?
Slap me in the Wedding Gear! Loved that comment! You are a funny guy!
Reminds me of Whidbey Island in Washington State, USA
Think that black bream would be joined by a slice of lemon on my dinner plate.
I caught a good Black Bream off the beach just yesterday...it went exactly as you said and has already been filmed.
It's East Devon, not South. if you ever wanna go out from somewhere a few miles west of there give me a shout.
it could be a piece of ballast from an old sail ship wreck..
What do you bind the shrimp on the hook with?
bait elastic
that boat looks twice as old as me
Good job
what safety equipment do you take out with you like a handheld VHF radio, flares, or is a mobile phone good enough.
Sunshine and a flat sea? Are you sure that isn't San Francisco Bay?
Snapper everywhere, we cut eels off
why never any lures? im sure they wwould have been a good bet in that clear water?
Hopefully to be tried later this summer. Deep trolling.

Beer.South Devon.

Hourly rate. Beer in Devon. They just launch off the beach.
@@TAFishing That's great if I start priming the wife now I might get out on one by the end of summer! Thanks for reply and thanks for all your videos.
I live in Penzance it would be awesome to see you down here
I imagine there is some really good shore fishing down there but I guess we don't hear much about it..Good Wrasse fishing I would think.
@@TAFishing yes wrasse and conger in the enclosed harbour in Penzance, my friend caught a 20lb + one there
