Who the hell wants to take out a loan to buy a damn car. If you got the money to buy it in cash good for you.
Because you don't know money.. just put the bare minimum rent it out. Write of the vehicle and $ spent to maintain vehicle. Then you sell it. Paying it off write away doesn't build credit which is need no matter how much you got. Not to mention how many times can you flip that $ in the meantime?

In the episode when he discussed financial advice, still online at that. But he stated he don't buy vehicles cash, he only lease them, keep them for 1 yr under lease terms & trade them in for either the newer model or something different. He stated that himself, again, it's still online for the naysayers or the 1s who take 1 thing & assume or make up the rest.. What's even more crazy, alot of ppl didnt even know he had a podcast. Hasn't been active as of recent but it's true.

You can use credit to expand your means of living by making payments on things to use the remainder of the money you would’ve spent paying in full to invest to grow your money as opposed to your money being tied into something that’s not making money.

@bosslady6198 It's depends on how you maintain your car. I have 09 fusion and 05 silverado never had major issues. I only changes suspension and AC and I maintain them and still running great till now. So if you maintain them basic maintenance then you should be ok.

One thing I've learned from working at dealerships and Valets is that all cars are the same, boxes on wheels taking you from point A to point B. I can't speak on how anybody should spend their hard earned money but me personally, one car is more than enough.

When you finance a car , not only are you borrowing money to pay it back but also interest on top of what you owe. Best to lease a car imo if u plan on keeping car momentarily

Expensive high quality cars do hold they value. Eventhough finiacial gurus say a car is a bad investment. It depends if you keep them pretty. It depends where you sell them . If you sell them to dealer auctions you can get top money . And if you sell them in 2 to 3 years like slim you can get all your money back . The average person cant afford the maintenance and the garaging . What slim is doing is just selling his older cars and recouping the original price to buy brand new cars . So hes basically coming out even .

This was in 2000 and my pops would say you gonna work forever and money grows on trees in your mind. My dad didn’t believe in payment plans and his father instilled that mindset in him. Guys this is such bad financial advice, why spend 100k on a car when you can finance it use 100k to invest, pay the car off early if those investments come back quickly now you have a 100k car in your credit history means now you can finance a 200k car rinse and repeat.
Financing on a gamble is a bad idea, an investment is a gamble - stop acting like it’s fail proof, most people do not advance from the risky investments and the low risk ones do not turn a 100% profit 😂😂

If you 35 and up and from the hood then you most likely lived like this growing up. I never had a curfew either and had a 88' Grand Prix at 15. Times back then was just different, no parental supervision was normal so you had to grow up fast and be mature.

Those are facts. I live by that, I'm just a regular working man. I Bought a 2013 Dodge avenger for 1500, I can sell that immediately for 5-6k. it's on my channel. Bought a first gen Toyota Tacoma for 1500, those are going for 5k as well 10k if you put some money in it. It's just I prefer the way slim talking about. If I can't afford I don't need it, except a mortgage. That's the only debt I have and that's almost paid off. Bought all my lawn equipment in cash brand new. I work, handle my priorities and bills first, pay myself some of whats leftover and make the rest stretch for whatever I wanna do.

They sign up for debt that automatically comes with paying interest. Simple concept yet people still sign up for loans to pay interest. Mortage payment be $3000 and only $300 goes toward the amount you borrowed... These banks and property taxes are legally stealing y'all money.
You can lease a brand new Rolls Royce Ghost FOR $180.000. Paying cash for one will cost you $354,750 and goes up to $416,250 . Don't listen to him. Paying cash for everything will make you go broke.
