Unfortunately the older Hornets have obsolete systems which would need a major upgrade both to be effective and repairable in the field. The Hornets are more suited to the operations in Ukraine than the F16s but the RAAF ones would need a major overhaul to be effective in the longer term.
@@peterfagan5000 Not so sure about that, the RAAF Hornets had significant upgrades during their service life and were only recently replaced by the F35.

Not possible. They equip many regular army and ARes units and can be used in peace keeping and natural disasters. Threats exist and the time to replace them is substantial. We are building more but hopefully they won't be needed.

Don't forget to mention the Ukraine Organ scheme where doctors report Ukraine soldiers wounded but not dead have every usable organ removed while alive this doctors report is also done to wounded civilians to meet EUROPEAN QUOTAS doctors report a Mother and her daughter both wounded non life threatening had every organ stripped. A Ukranian military doctor reported it to a General he says he asked where the bodied were buried then dug up a mass grave for fear of Russian troops finding it, he said he was offered a promotion and pay rise to stay quiet and keep Working. He also said they were concerned about the poor quality of the surgery he said it was had to maintain standards when they were being pressured to deliver on time. SLAVA UKRAINE Putin is the devil.

@@anthonyj7989 Military vehicles rarely go at such speeds even if they can do so in theory. Particularly in trench warfare as is the case currently in Ukraine. Not to say the Bushmaster is a bad vehicle, but the claims in this video are outrageous and incorrect.

Bushmasters were designed for IED attacks in the Middle East during the Afghanistan and Iraq Operations.
The hull of the vehicle is designed in a V shape to deflect IED and mine attacks !
Top down attack has not been evaluated as the primary objective during the Middle East conflicts were IED's .
That must be why I've seen several in flames on Telegram.

The Bushmasters are made in my town. Something of which I am inordinately proud now that they are being used in Ukraine.
I was NATO soldier in post-soviet world, before 9/11..... We trained SPECIFICALLY for war against russia, and ONLY russia..... Many men here are like me, they trained on the leo tanks, the 155mm and so on..... We thought about the war with russia, we believed it MUST come.... For decades, NATO men have thought like this.... And we are not about to forget.
The gear we have sent you, I would take into combat myself, and I am proud of you guys for using it so well.... If this wasn't a war, it'd be the greatest thing I ever saw.
Well, you are obviously incorrect as Russia was closely collaborating with NATO for over a decade after the Fall of the Soviet Union. On the other hand NATO troops were involved in multiple invasions and attacks on sovereign states like Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro to be exact), Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya. And it is those wars that gave the despot Putin the idea that he could likewise attack other countries unscathed.

we are only a small population here in australia but we do what we can, we have given over 100 bushmaster vehicles thats a lot for a small population, we have given other things like the 777 howitzers and stuff, because we believe in ukraines fight, hopefully we can give our old f-18 fighter jets soon too, !!!
