Oh man i still remember the hell that I was facing it while p ranking r r frezerator Gnome forset Crust cove Pizza scare Dont make a sound War Pizza face Fake peppino The noise Peppibot factory Oh shit
At first I too was intimidated by the challenge that P ranking all the stages offered. But then a friend of mine told me that he got purple clothes after completing this challenge, he knew that is my favorite color... So yeah, that was enough to convince me to spend more than 10 grueling hours mastering the game, struggling especially with levels like Wasteyard, Gnome Forest, Peppibot Factory, Oh Shit, and Pizzascare. But the pain and torture endured was worth it. A strong rush of dopamine flew through my body once CTOP was conquered, and I now have Peppino sporting the power of purple for my next run of the game. Pizza Tower is truly something else, especially in terms of replayability.
I got into it in a similar way. I initially didn’t really care about going for P-ranks cause I was convinced I wasn’t good enough at the game for it, but a friend of mine insisted to at least try John Gutter P-rank. Just that level alone took me like an hour, but I had so much fun with it that it convinced me to P-rank the whole game. And for me, I share a lot of your pain with levels like Gnome Forest, PizzaScare, and ESPECIALLY Peppibot factory. That level fucked me up.
@@IllegalCarrot11 John Gutter does a fantastic job at getting the player used to the fundamentals of Peppino's moveset and encouraging them to see how fast they could complete with its linear yet fun level design. Glad to hear you had so much fun with it just like me. Peppibot Factory is one of the worst offenders imo. The conveyor belt segment can really throw players off, the 3rd secret is very easy to screw up until you realize you're supposed to mash the grab button against the rows of rats, and the treasure... that was BY FAR the hardest one to find considering how unorthodox it was placed compared to the other treasures. Gnome Forest was tough just cause of how unusually long it is for a PT level (and also those stupid ass electric cucumbers). The good news is I was notified ahead of time that I need to supertaunt the 3 noise goblins in that one barren section to maintain my combo, so at the very least I was spared from half of the frustration the forest could offer. Pizzascare... while it is one of the hardest I personally really love the level and trying to P rank it. Great flow, secrets are well-hidden yet not absurdly out of place like in PF's case, the ghost king being one of the most clever gimmicks I've seen, and some kick-ass music to boot. There's just something about it that never makes me feel frustrated or wanting to quit even after hours of attempting to P rank it. Its the ultimate P rank challenge to me.
