where are the bolts? i can see them on the under side of the hood but not on the outside. trying to wrap my brain around how thats possible but i have no clue lol.
@@orlandomendoza8915 They channel the water forward in one location so that the water isn't going all over the engine bay. They do not seal the louvers 100%.
We did not add any rain guards for this particular install. However, we do offer rain guards for these units on the website, and they install on the bottom side of the louvers with 4 nuts.
Something like this is extremely circumstantial. It all depends on if the intake is ducted, if it has an open filter, location of intake, and etc. Overall, yes the hood louvers will help lower intake temps, but it is dependent on a handful of other things as well.
the best stealth design bonnet vent i've seen.
Thanks!
A suggestion would be to paint the cut edges prior to mounting the vents so the hood won't rust. Bare metal will rust.
This is true for steel hoods , as aluminum hood will not rust. For this install, we did not have matching touch up paint, as this was a customers car.
They look awesome. I was thinking about doing them on my Fiesta ST, but I‘m afraid that I am going to mess up...
With the templates, you will be alright. Just take your time.
I'd like to do something similar with my Ford flex. Is there a kit and recommended location or am I on my own ?
Thanks !
All of our hood louvers are universal. We always suggest going with the kit that you think will look best with your build.

Pressed in pem studs.
Why do you not send the vinyl decal any longer?!? I got mine and its a piece of paper.
Huh? A piece of paper? We still send the small stickers with each hood louver kit.
Do the vents dramatically increase engine noise in the cabin? They look fantastic.
I wouldn't say dramatically, but yes they will increase noise coming from the engine bay a bit.
interested on this part for my focus st tho!but im afraid of the water coming into my engine bay
We offer rain guards for our Focus RS/ST hood louvers.
@@VerusEngineering Where can I get the rain guards?
@@Ken-mx7qm on our website.
How does the rain catchers work that come in these kits?
The rain guards do not come with the hood louvers, but they can be purchased separately. They simply attach to the bottom side using serrated nuts.
@@VerusEngineering I’m asking how do they work. Tracking that they sell separately.

Would we these work on a 2016 standard model fiesta hood? Looking at pics ST isnt much different.
Don't see why they wouldn't! I don't think the hoods are different, but I could be wrong.
@@VerusEngineering Yup they are the same. Just ordered a set, thanks.
How do you know where to drop the holes? Are there marks on the template?
that747guy yes the templates show you where to drill
@@VerusEngineering sweet, I order earlier today!
Did you put rain or water guard under the hood? What are the parts of the engine you covered?

@@VerusEngineering you did not add rain guard on your car..any issues with water under engine bay?
We have not seen any issues related to water in the engine bay. Our shop car sits outside during downpours all the time and it has never had an issue.
@@VerusEngineering thanks for the info.
Are these the same vents that were on the Focus St Vid?
Our Focus RS/ST Hood louvers are slightly larger than the Fiesta units.
Any difference in intake air temps?
