- Hey Dudes! I have been a Star Wars fan most of my life. Discovered the movies in VHS in 1995. I always knew about Heir To The Empire having seen advertisements for the novel in comic books and owned a couple of issues of HTTE. Not till recently having to do research for the project did I realize how great of a story it was and the true heir to Episode 7. I really love the character Thrawn. He's calculated and colder than Vader. I used some of Shadows of the Empire's score as to give some originality to otherwise familiar Star Wars themes. I hope you enjoy the feature and find it an appropriate rendition of the classic Star Wars saga.
If this does well, I will work on the sequel, "Dark Force Rising"

I had some very strong ideas for Thrawn to exist in Episode IX, and I get this feeling that Abrams wanted it, but Bologni Filoni gets WAY too much pull over there, and he's not all that creative.

Some of the ships look a bit janky, but as someone who has had experience with trying to make star wars ships in midjourney, look good relatively speaking (i used prompt of basically "an x-wing flying through an asteroid field" and got either an x-wing phasing through an asteroid (with the asteroid where the cockpit would be) or an asteroid field with grey x-wing shaped asteroids). The characters look mostly spot on, though i would try to make Mara Jade look a little less like she is wearing lip gloss (honest critique).

Well done! Some of us are a little older, and it is only Zahn's novels that kept SW alive. It's a pity they didn't make this into a movie.

Really liked the Noghri design here. They were supposed to have bigger jaws and full black eyes, but I wouldn't mind seeing your version in live action. More expressive and thousand times better than that abomination we got on Star Wars Rebels

Love the feel of it, it’s got grandeur and actual real looking adult characters, both sadly missing from modern Star Wars when it looks like a bunch of teenagers…

@@TheJereld I just miss all the impactful cinematography and appropriate music, that sense of epicness (my new word). Luke looking wistfully at the twin suns, Luke looking at the corpses of his dead Aunt and Uncle, the Millennium Falcon entering the Dead Star, Vaders shuttle landing in the second one. These long, cinematic scenes with no dialogue, just epic visuals and music. It’s totally missing.
This is war and why does it look like the women spend hours applying makeup? The art looks fantastic.
