Dr. I would like to discuss some issues i am experiencing. I just saw a document about rare diseases I was in shock to find out I have those symptoms am so confused and somewhat informed. I need help.
I just got my blood test result back. My CBC overall was fine with my white and red being in the good range. Yet my absolute monocytes was very high it’s 1442 and supposed to be 950 and absolute eosinophils were high at 525 and supposed to be at 500. Should I be worried about cancer? I’m nervous.
I have a physical test a week ago and my results came with 0 Eosinophils and BASOPHILS! What that means? It is a way to make it go up? I have appointment with my doctor but next month and i have no answers just to wait to my doctors appointment
I am not a doctor, but it could mean you have some sort of immunodeficiency or an infection that is attacking your basophils and eosinophils. I wouldn't worry until you see your doctor.
That’s true but why would they go into diapedisis is the real question: - This happens in cases of inflammation where neutrophil is needed to arrive at area to increase the chemokines production so more inflammatory bodies will arrive to infected area, it’s like saying “hey, come here please, yes I am the sick one you’r looking for”. This means neutrophils will leave blood stream by diapedisis to get into cells/tissues to offer help aka “pro-inflammatory bodies” and phagocytosis by opening up their sticky DNA to catch or slow down the pathogen (mostly bacteria).
I wouldn't be asking this guy about that. If you have abnormal blood results, talk to your doctor about what they could potentially be indicating. Be proactive with your health, regardless of whether or not you think you may have cancer.

What type of granule only found in basophils and eosinophils
Do eosinophils do any phagocytosis? Or is that just neutrophils, and eosinophils/basophils just release histamine to get inflammatory responses?
Eosinophils are phagocytotic cells. They play a role in phagocytosis of multicellular parasitic organisms, like worms.

I pray everything is well with you and yours in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ of NAZARETH. The name above ALL names. AMEN.

Life Science Help thankd for your fast respond!! A appropriate
I was wondering if anyone could tell me how/where basophils enter the blood from bone marrow.
Good question for dr google
I have a question what is the functions of neutrophils ?
Is the answer ( diapedesis is for chemotaxis )

I have 9% eosinophils . My clinic reference normal is 0-6%. I’m so worried. Looks like mine is too high. Is this potentially cancer?
