Wedding in Beautiful Stockholm - Karina & Martin Wedding Highlight Video

Wedding in Sweden's capital. Yes, that was what this day offered me. A day that began at Stockholm City Hall - and which ended at Villa Adolfsberg on Kungsholmen. What happened in between? Join in and you'll see.
The day started for the undersigned as mentioned above at Stockholm City Hall where I did a bit of preparation for the upcoming photography together with today's photographer, my partner Elin Laitala (www.elinlaital...). For photography, however, there were still many hours and many cases had to be dealt with before that.
First out: A meeting with the main characters of the day, Karina and Martin, whom I found in the bridal suite at Radisson Hotell. By the way, it would not be a lie to say that you could imagine a night in there yourself, what a view! Uh-oh!
Well.
After various preparations, we set off for the place for "where the magic will happen", ie the place for the wedding - Villa Adolfsberg. A building that was built in 1851 as a "summer pleasure" for the then owner Jonas Adolf Walldén.
That you have not thought about it before anyway, to build half a castle as a summer pleasure then ..
Sorry, now I drifted away in various curiosities again.
Back to business. Once at Villa Adolfsberg, the sky opened up and the rain began to pour down, so much so that the wedding that was planned to be held outdoors - instead had to move in. But what does it do when you have your loved ones, relatives, friends and acquaintances in your vicinity? Not a bit, as you can see above. The couple and all of us who witnessed this wonderful event were equally happy anyway. As it should be a day like this.
A spring is, after all, a spring, something not even the forces of the weather can stop. In a sea of rice, the bride and groom ran out along the red carpet - and into a waiting limousine. After we went - me and the entourage. We were going on to the place where I started my day - Stockholm City Hall.
There were not as many people as at the Nobel party at the town hall, but there were probably more than us who had gone there that day. So much so that Mr Lund had to use his charm and perhaps one or two "can you please move away a little bit" - to give Karina and Martin a wedding film including them and their entourage - rather than the world's collective tourist attraction seekers.
After a long day, there were probably more stomachs than mine that started to coo, whereby we decided to move back to the "summer pleasure" where one culinary dish after another was served. Chile met Lebanon in a magical symbiosis. I dare say that there were more than my taste buds who signed on.
But neither Lebanese nor Chilean music is played on the clip at dinner, is it? That's right- this is Serbian. We were treated to a classic Serbian ceremony where the guests wave their napkins in the air to welcome the bride and groom.
When the stomachs and energy depots were full again, it was time for a new run for the bride and groom. Not the Stockholm Marathon but well through a sea of sparklers - and where the first prize became a dance, the first dance.
And if you have a taste for dance - yes, then you dance all night long.
"Dance is a horizontal expression of a horizontal desire," George Bernard Shaw is said to have once said. However, dancing was not my horizontal desire for a full day of walking, after which I steered the cow home towards Linköping again. Another day was over - another couple had become one.
