A guy with a heart as big as his, it's no wonder it could only tick for 52 years. He was nothing if not passionate and forthright, and in this age, that alone deserves mountains of respect, let alone his incredible workrate.

You are so right! I'm 53, workout at a hardcore bodybuilding gym and I look better and workout harder than 99% of these guys. Too many are into things that don't matter like macros, pre during and post workout crap that people sell them. All they need to do is throw all the stuff out and just workout.

I am 52 and have been training since I was around 16. I totally agree with him. He is correct. No doubt most younger people in the gym dont think long term. I am about 99% sure most of them will not be training when they are even in their 40s. I get sick of allot of them struting around the gym doing the same lame ass workout and never try anything new. Its always the same old bullshit 1 to 3 reps way too heavy and mainly live to bench press. Its so ridiculous. They don't seem the have a mind of their own. I wish most of them would just pack their shit up and go home. I agree with the warrior.

Before my alcoholism became very serious, I used to workout heavily 5 days a week (no room for booze) and was highly successful, on a reality TV show and had a busy and wonderful life. One of the videos I would listen to as I walked to the gym everyday was this one. When I stopped going to the gym, it was only a matter of time before I started drinking and having my whole life in shambles. Warrior needs to be back in my life again and his inspirational videos aren't just about working out.

Just coming to watch some of these videos. I saw them all when they originally posted and just love listening to the Warrior. A hero since 1991, I obsessed over his comic books in 1996 and started following his original blog and old website in 2003. I've collected a lot of his figures, still in the package, and I was excited to see him in the ring at a show in 1992 ! I was glad to see him come back and do in 2008. Doesn't matter if it wasn't "good" - he only did it for the fans and I loved seeing him get into doing autograph appearances these past 5 years.

Warrior was (it breaks my heart to have to use the past tense) very well spoken. Clearly he cared about other people with the same passion and intensity he had being the Ultimate Warrior. He is the Ultimate Role Model. Although Warrior was taken too soon, The Ultimate Warrior will never die. The Ultimate Warrior will run FOREVER. My heart goes out to the Warrior family and all of us fans. We all lost a piece of ourselves when Warrior passed away. Rest in Power, Ultimate Warrior. I'm a personal trainer and Warrior is spot-the-fuck-on. People obsess about variables that don't produce the greatest returns, then ignore or marginalize the basics that DO. The second you start obsessing and have anxiety over missing meals, supps, timing, etc, you lose the entire point and start going backwards. Health and fitness, not bullshit and anxiety. Warrior forever; always believe!!!

I used to be this way.... picked apart and obsessed about meals, sets, everything. Scared of overtraining, undertraining, not eating, sleeping or having the right supplements. Certainly all that stuff helps, but the most important thing is enjoying your training and your life. Much of the stuff we are fed is bullshit. Mind is everything. I've had better results when doing everything wrong too. Great video, great mindset. Rest in peace my friend!

Warrior is right. I know what he's talking about. I've had days when i haven't had time to eat properly, but i was still able to use Lbs & reps that i had percieved as impossible before arriving at the gym, once there i suddenly found out that i was capable of moving those crazy weights. Cuz i felt so freakin passionate, prior to workingout, to the point that i could feel the energy surging inside of me! Challenge yourself, just put yourself to the test - don't be afraid of failure or judgement.

The biggest gains I ever got was when I didn't even know how much protein and carbs I "should" be taking. I just startted eating more and was focused on working out like a psycho. After i started worrying about did a have a good pre or post workout meal, the intensity of my trainings dropped. After I started worrying if I'll have too much body fat here or there, the intensity stopped. Warrior is right. Time to get back to the basics.

So happy to see you come full circle with the wrestling world and address all the little Warriors out there one last time. This world just could not contain your energy and passion, that's why you've been chosen to move on to a bigger world. I've just been working out for almost 2 years and always wondered if i need to take all that crap at GNC and eat my meals at certain times and have this many carbs/proteins! So it's really reassuring what you said here, I know all that crap is not what it's all about. Thanks so much for leaving behind these inspirational words. Rest in Peace Warrior man...condolences to your wife and kids.

dude i watched you for years, im native american, i grew up inner city and was always up for the fight, i used your energy to help me overcome alot of opposition and discrimination , also a reason to beat alot of peoples asses, due to their ignorance, i see myselfe as the real warrior because i fought every day of my life just for the right to be the man i am, but it was cool for a minute to think that someone actually was fighting for the right to be who i am, fuck the bullshit about the workout, the real workout, the real warrior is the one that is still the one who dont forgive the one who putd himselfe through the pain, instead of making thoughs who have pushed you there, dude, im 42 yaears old, i really fought my way threw my whole life, i have alot of arthrightis problems from my life style, but that bullshit is on me, but thanks bro for being able to express me at a fucked time of my life
