can we use true type? these standard fonts are ugly...

No TrueType fonts. Only work around in the Beta version is convert Text to curves in another software and export as . SVG. Plasticity Beta can import . SVG files. Think it'll only be available in Studio Version though

Just select the faces of the text and hit X or delete key

to me it just doesn't work, projecting creates curve duplicates and that's it

Shift I should imprint to a surface, if you just press I, it'll just project curves to the surface

    How do you edit text?
Lets say you now want to change that example to the same as the front license plate. I'm used to Onshape and now learning Plasticity. Everything feels like a onetime design and if I make a mistake I need to start over 😅

Unfortunately most things in Plasticity is a one and done mentality. Plasticity doesn't have a Timeline that you can jump back to redo it like other CAD software.

Note the link still takes one to the 1.1.0 download. Can't seem to find 1.2 anywhere... You're on beta, right. Do patches load automatically on launch or do you have to retrieve and install? If so where? I have an Indie license and can't find an answer to this. Thanks for any insight? Great little tutorials you are putting up. Thanks for that as well.

Sorry for the confusion, I forget not everyone follows all Plasticity social media. The 1.2 update will be out July 15th. You'll have to download it when it comes out, down the road there will be an update feature for Plasticity, not sure when though.
