Hello everyone! I know I usually only do amateurish covers but today I thought I'd post something else that is amateurish.
Today, 238 years ago, Alexander Hamilton and Elizabeth Schuyler said "I do" at the Schuyler mansion in Albany. This marriage should then hold on for 24 years. 24 years filled with ups and downs. From the first child together until the early death of him. From the promise to stay true to the publishing of an affair, to name just a few. Even after death separated them, widowed Eliza never remarried. She never did not think of him and of how to tell the story of her husband. The story of him we probably wouldn't know that well if it wasn't for her love to him and no one else - even after death.
Their love story is not your typical fairy tale with the handsome prince and the beautiful princess who live happily ever after. The handsome prince is a handsome, penniless orphaned bastard and the beautiful princess a beautiful, wealthy daughter of a general. But for them, it didn't matter what they owned or who their parents were. It mattered who they were. And that was enough to fall in love with.
They were different in their nature but completed each other. You could say it's like Ying and Yang.
In other words; they were the perfect match.

Now to the animatic, ever since I re-listened to How Does A Moment Last Forever by Céline Dion from Disney's 2017 Beauty and the Beast, I noticed that it would make a decent animatic featuring the story of Alex & Eliza. Over the year (yes I had the idea for a year) I gained more and more ideas, listened to the song over and over again, brainstorming, thinking of ideas that will make it the animatic I want it to be. Somewhere around June or July, if not earlier, I decided to post this animatic in honor of Alex's and Eliza's anniversary on the 14th of December.
I started sketching the frames in October 2018 and started drawing the final frames in November. To be exact I started to work on the final frames exactly a month ago, the 14th of November :D
This is my first animatic ever and I have no idea how to edit videos or anything about making animatics in general so I excuse if it's a little shitty. I'm a trainee here.

I AM SOBBING- This is absolutely beyond breathtaking, and let me tell you why. First of all, this is one of my favorite songs, and the way you synced their lives and loves to it was very, very fitting. I particularly loved the shots from Take a Break and Burn, and of course that gorgeous opening shot. Eliza’s love and loyalty showed with her gradual and astounding efforts to preserve their legacies, particularly with showing Alex Jr. helpingher and Angelica write and copy his story for the public. All of the nods to the historic truth were beautifully crafted in, and I loved seeing your designs of the kiddos and their happiness/achievements. Angelica Hamilton playing the piano was a lovely insert and not all of the kids being able to be present with their mama died MY HEART- Also, your designs of aging Eliza are my absolutely favorite ever.
This is the perfect song for Alexander and Eliza. They went through so many trials and tribulations (the affair, Philip's death, the duel, etc.), but they still loved each other perfectly and wholly. They completed each other. People who ship Alexander and Angelica...I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you. Eliza was the only one truly perfect for him.
That ending with the historical- wait hold on let me finish sobbing first
The biggest thing I love about this is the use of the rings. They stand out from the normal backdrops and even when the Reynolds Pamphlet was released she still wore the ring. I’ll sob now.

This is so BEAUTIFUL. I'm literally sobbing. (btw congrats for finishing this on time) I am so happy for them, this literally happend over 300 years ago and we are so emotional about this.
