After a week of fighting a young man stands on a parapet... I mean, after a week of working, it's finally over.
At the end I decided to add Eliza's story on Who lives, who dies, who tells your story. Although it had to be fast, but there's studying Ham's papers, the speaking against slavery, raising funds for Washington's monument and the Orphanage. I tried to add also that she pressured one of her sons to make a biography of Alexander, but it wouldn't be so visible because of how fast that part is. Also I wanted to add another of their children who died before Eliza (the rest of the kids kept that on secret from her) but you woldn't recognize him/her. So, sorry kid. Maybe for another animatic.
I decided to draw Alexandra's dad looking more like Phillipa and Jane just to give an explanation of why she looks a lot like her mother's dead girlfriend best friend.
Also I dropped to show Alexandra pregnant on the It's quiet uptown segment (again, historically, Eliza was pregnant with Phillip II when Phillip I died) because it would seem like Erin killed a pregnant woman and.... no. The idea is just to make you cry a little, not cry as if you had seen Coco and then you touched your eyes with Habaneros.
AND no, I'm not sorry for Angelo b*tchslapping Alexandra. She deserved it and I've been waiting lots for a Reynold's Pamphlet animatic where Angelica (or Angelo) slaps Hamilton for what (s)he did.
(And I'm a big sister, my baby sister lives away from me... and she has had lots of awful exes, so I needed to have some catharsis about the fact that I can't slap those suckers onto another nationality for what they did to her)

So had to add this after a series of coments and as somewhat a FAQ before you comment, thank you and please read.
1- The song is Ham in 7 minutes. Which means it's the story starts when Ham mets Burr and the squad and ends when Eliza dies after being an AMAZING philantropist. But this time their names are Alexandra, Erin, Jane, Mariane-Josephine (Lafayette), Helene, Georgia, Elijah, Angelo, Percy, Mario/Matthew (haven't decided yet), Phillipa, Tammy, Jamie...
So YES, of course it will be similar to Ziksua's, whom was an inspiration to make such a long proyect. It's a "no shit, Sherlock" question because it's the same story just genders reversed.
Jesus Christ of Veracruz, even the Star vs the Forces of Evil version (which I love too) looks like Ziksua's animatic. And if you have seen the show, you know that the story has almost no point in common with the musical. Aside from the romantic triangle (Angelica-Alexander-Eliza and Jackie-Marco-Star/Heckapoo).
2- Which means that I recognize that Ziksua made the proyect first (I never said otherwise, anyway). And she was also my inspiration when I felt like it would be better to stop because this proyect was a bigger monster than I though and I just had a twig to fight against it.
It would be stupid to say "hey, I planned this first" because, y'know, the uploading dates of my video and hers are appart from months, mine being more recent. And at this point all of the fandom has seen her work too (not only for Ham in 7 minutes but her other animatics like Blow us all away...). So it wouldn't be only stupid but pure madness and a virtual suicide.
3- Also the idea of doing a genderbend version came from when Lin-Manuel Miranda said he wanted to see Hamilton but with girls portraying the founding fathers. So being women the dominant gender, I tried to imagine what would be the differences on such a society (which brough to spotlight some theories of why sexism exists), what would have been different on History?
The idea behind this animatic (and a series of one-shots that I'm planning to upload) was to highlight that no matter which gender are the dominant or if we could one day reach equality between genders (including people who doesn't define themselves as woman or man), we all have the same capacity to change our lives, to write history... AAAND to be big assholes, that's why I added a genderbended Sally behind Jefferson. What we have on our chest or on our groins doesn't have to define our capacity to change our lives and doesn't define our inteligence, our kindness or our capacity to be cruel and harmful.
So, if you came until this point of the description/rant, I'm thankful for your time. I didn't expected this video to become so controversial.

King George/Queen Georgia looks awesome! The figures look unnatural in some poses, (while others are done super well) and it isn't timed perfectly in some spots. I really love how each song is color coded. It gives a lot of life. You did really good!!!

Well at least that's the reason why I have been wanting to see Angelica slap Hamilton at least once on scene (IDK if that has happened) or on an animatic (Galactic buns had made that, I found that a few days ago).
Hamilton REALLY abused the trust that the Schuyler's gave him when letting him be a part of the family at the point of The Reynold's Pamphlet. Not only having an affair (that could be excusable for the time) but letting all the world know about that and leaving Eliza in ridiculous on the eyes of the public. Angelica begged him to be "satisfied" but he disappointed her and not only that... he hurted her beloved sister.
BOOOOI, you just don't do that without facing at least one bitchslap, I say this as a big sister. No matter if you're a man or a gal, older or younger, I will bitchslap to death someone who was stupid enough to hurt my siblings.

Maya mun I have to agree, and I'd like to add there is a bit of akward posing in this, for example, near the begining of helpless. Of course it is a small issue, as there are also some very good dynamic poses in this animatic.

i have a few criticisms about the art and animatic in general. it looks to me you have a case of same-face-syndrome when it comes to the style of your art, they all are drawn with the same face proportions, they all have the same nose, mouth and eyes, the facial features aren't aligned properly either and look kind of off, and i don't think i saw any freckles on Laurens. i personally don't like the genderbend aspect of this animatic either because of the the simple fact the way you've drawn the characters as the reverse sexes makes it hard to differentiate them from one another, especially the guys, you've given them such similar hairstyles to each other and they don't correlate well with how they originally look as males, female characters don't always need to be given long hair, especially in a case where they are genderbends such as this. also, George Washington is originally bald as a man so it's kind of weird to give him long braids as a female. back onto proportions, the anatomy is quite off and the poses look a bit strange due to this, i'd suggest practicing poses and full body proportions by looking at some images of real people for reference, also have a look at different facial features and practice drawing them, the Hamilton cast is a very diverse group of people and i think it will work in your favor and art in general to improve in drawing these features for future Hamilton animatics.
Both Phillipa and Laurens have freckles (on 0:46, 0:59, 5:14, 5:28, 6:35 you can notice them). Although I didn't made that noticeable, my mistake.
For Georgia, well, for me it was more logical to go to the other extreme with the genderbend, from bald to long braids (also I always loved those braids, I think they look really fiercebut elegant at the same time so it seemed for me a logical choice for the genderbend of a George Washington, someone who was brilliant and fierce on battle and a gentleman outside of it).
Anyway, I'll take your advice. Thank you.
i think it's more logical to make genderbends look as close to the original character as possible, just with features belonging to the opposite sex, women can have short hair/be bald too, i wouldn't give a genderbend a hairstyle that differs extremely from their original one, but it's alright

I wanted to do something different for this characters.
Also it was easier to do the "up for act I-down for act II" (and to diferenciate Helene Mulligan from Jamie Madison and Tammy Jefferson from Marianne Lafayette but with my same-face-syndrome I guess it's hard) if they had long hair.

I see a lot of potential in you as an artist (especially with the cute small drawings at 4:11), but I bet you can make it better by studying anatomy. Make the bodies flow! Make the eyes smaller! I'm sure you'll love your drawings if you learn to draw more realistically!

Yo great job my dude, I can only see you getting better. A quick tip though, if you wanna take drawing seriously start drawing "real life people" to get a solid grip on anatomy because the anime style (which I see your style mimicks) anatomy has always been WAAYY off. Well actually thats kind of a lie, anime used to have more of a realistic art style, you can tell by comparing old anime to the new ones BUT the NEW anime girls got boobs coming from their armpits and eyes bigger than their hands lol. ANYWAY, Im rambling... but if its just a hobby whatevs man, just do whatevers fun. No matter what the case is Im excited to see what else you create :)

This is amazing. The hair and the anatomy is great in my opinion. Now I can’t say much as my eyes are terrible but I guess the eyes, they look weird compared to the rest. Everyone saying this is made by a ten year old. As a twelve year old who is in a class with a couple of ten year olds I will say, a ten year old wouldn’t be able to make anything as good as this.

Before I get attacked, yes I did read the description all the way through.
This was good, but there’s a fine line between inspiration and copying. The backgrounds and most of the actions were just copies of Zikusa’s animatic.
I feel like if you redid this some time later in the future it’d be fantastic with your own ideas! Your drawing of bodies and clothing is amazing, a lot better than I can on any device. I’m not trying to discourage you from animating, I just wanted to say that there’s a difference between inspiration and copying, but you do have lots of potential to redo this again in the future.
...maybe when I finish my thesis :'D

-lower the shoulders a BIT
Give burr like thing, short, curly hair, do that with washington too, please, but add like some bangs.
-phillip is born in 1801 not before the war ends in 1781.
-work on eye anatomy. PLEASE WORK ON EYE ANATOMY
-mouths are nOT that long.
-make sure to not make it too obvious you used refrences from other animatics, i mean; its fine, but its plain out there with the thing at wlwdwtys.
-hands seem to be oversized
-Coloring job needs to be more.. filled in.
-make it so noses don't go to the side always. make a curve pointed down and a curve pointed up above it and they are both above the mouth; not between the nose

I'm sorry but I'm putting my opinion out there. I don't like this because you used so much of Ziksua's original ideas that I only see this is a copy, but with a different gender. Especially the ending. In Ziksua's, they had it go back to when they were younger and then Alex got shot. You did the exact same thing. I'm sorry, I mean it was an amazing animation just the ideas that were out into it....I saw as stolen.

Eclipse I'm sorry if I'm a dumbass kk ,but really they need to start slow and people may criticise time to time ,and thats great they can look back at it and think of the corrections they can make!One thing I recommend is the eyes practice how you want them to be, not popping out :/.Everything else is wow nicely smooth drawn.Keep. it up and the body is great and going to keep improving .All I'm saying :). Doopie Doop What do you mean "start slow"? People will figure out how to improve at their own pace. And besides, just because the artist will reflect on their mistakes in the future, it does not mean you have the right to insult in the present. I'm glad that you gave criticism, but if you had put that criticism in your original comment instead of just calling it cringe, it would've been more appropriate.
Criticism means to say what's wrong and on what I can improve, what's good (because not everything can be bad... or I'm really optimistic about people).
Just saying "ugh, this is cringe, sorry that it's true" doesn't help anyone AT ALL.
Yes, I know I have my mistakes, for example on anatomy or the eyes. I see this video constantly to find where I can be better, I see my own draws (draw that I make, draw that becomes desktop background to check mistakes everyday). But even the best people doing animatics on the fandom didn't figured out how to do things right (compare Szin's Helpless with Non-Stop and it's a whole world of difference).
So this is a criticism of how you can be better doing criticism. As my mother used to say "say something useful or nice or just don't say anything at all".
