@@BrSo-no3vz difference is those countries didn’t escape kings and queens in search of freedom and made their whole country in the foundation of immigrants looking for freedom which was what the first settlers where.. somewhere along the way racist laws where passed by dumb people, like banning marijuana and making immigrants illegal.. and now these laws have been so long engraved in peoples memories that they think its the right thing 😂😂 but deporting working families helping the country not breaking any laws and some dude getting high in his couch is not the right thing logically or morally.. deporting people means you loose money and workers and also ruin their life in the process so its a lose lose situation same as weed.. you make people mad and make drug crime worse while also not profiting from it and feeding the cartel which in return causes more illegals to cross.. js logic and common sense seem to be too far gone with some people who take the law to heart when many laws shouldn’t exist

Though based on our own experience, it was extraordinarily difficult even for us to come here and to acquire US citizenship even though my own parents were university-educated professionals. This is why I am sympathetic towards the people who come here illegally (at least so long as they don't subsequently make it harder for the people who are here legally to acquire US citizenship, et cetera) and support a much more generous US immigration policy.

Honestly I'm Canadian and I think it's kind of messed up they have to lie in the first place or seek asylum to aquire citizenship in the first place.
The current system in place seems to disproportionately benefit those coming from very well off families in other countries and in a classist sort of fashion people can even expedite citizenship faster for their children via essentially buying them an education. The international student programs bring a lot of money to colleges and it's definitely led to what feels like a prioritization of procuring more, international students regardless of academic ability. Not to mention makes the temporary worker programs, which is pretty rampant with employer abuse and little regulation these days, feel like the only option people sometimes have.
It feels like it's really adding towards keeping people from lower and middle (even upper middle honestly) incomes looking to move here from having a fair chance at citizenship in Canada. So until such can be addressed in some kind of overhaul, I say leave roxham rd as it is, to even the playing field if anything.

Once we're all drained dry because of insane immigration policies, we will be unable to help either newcomers or ourselves.
But here's the very sad inconvenient truth .... this worldwide issue is the PLAN, not a result of bad policy. The policy is exactly what is wanted. A redistribution of the world populations and massive changes in the financial systems. Once we're all clammering for crumbs, they'll have us exactly where they want us.

If you tear-up your US paperwork and claim asylum, the time to "legal immigrant" status in Canada is at least 5 years. You must move to a place with labor demand. You must work. You must file tax returns with Revenue Canada. The US is the exactly same. The 2 countries have an agreement that the minimal refugee, asylum conditions are identical.
The only way around it is sponsorship by business or family or direct investment. In Canada, you must deposit at least $250,000 into a Canadian bank or invest it in a Canadian owned business or use it to capitalize your own business.
