Great lesson Chipp! Worked great. The only thing I did different was instead of adding a page to drop the light-box on, I added it to the page and set the display to "hidden". Works like a charm! Thanks man!

Hey, Quick question. When you justify with space between, it sort of messes up if you have an odd number of projects. (for example 6) the bottom 2 images go to the corners. Do you know a way around this?

I've been hoping Webflow would come up with this sort of solution, but it seems to have gone very quiet on the Webflow CMS Gallery front over past months. I'm wondering if there's a way to make the collection names and filter automatically link to the collections in the CMS so you don't have to copy and paste them manually. I'll see if I can do anything on this when I try putting your solution into action. Thanks a million!
@@ChippWalters This has worked a dream for me Chipp, thank you. I added a collection for events and then referenced the event name field in the group section of the code snippet. This way I was able to create a symbol for the main image and Lightbox structure, drag the snippet multiple times for different events, then disconnect each from the symbol and filter each one by the event I want. Fantastic solution, Webflow should be paying you ;-)
Good Morning Chipp i was wondeing if the gallery you set allows MAKE ZOOM over the images... i would loke to upload HD pictures with the objective that the visitors could make zoom and get closer to watch the details of the pictres... do you think this is possible?

Hi. I followed the instructions multiple times. In my preview mode, I see all the images cropped like it used to be, but when I publish they crop in a strange way and the horizontal space between is gone. Anyone having this problem?
Please tell me how to connect cms elements now after the update in webflow. Previously, they were connected by clicking on the gear of an element (for example, text or a picture), but now they are not there 🙏
Sorry, it would take too long and be several pages deep. My suggestion is to request RUclips translate the video and there should be a transcript of it created automatically. Actually, there is an english transcript of it already at RUclips. Just click the 3 little dots.

In order to avoid having to use justify, you could just add the negative margin to the container or list wrapper. Try that. 👍
