Really lovely. Not forced or showy. I do like the Bösendorfer, quite different from a Steinway. What a treasure András Schiff is! Interesting the two bass players, one on each side. Seems to work well. Thanks to all!
wow, what a master. one of the best Beethoven 3's I've heard. every detail, structure, carved out for us in beauty. so much of this concerto gets glossed over often. bravo to the Capella as well. symphonic and chamber music at the same time between Schiff and his orchestra. i could have used a little more fire than humor in the third movement, but that is artistic taste.
@@docm27 I was tremendously disappointed when I went to the royal Albert hall to hear Mr Schiff play the well tempered clavier. He was completely faithful to the score, and hadn't done his own arrangement. Tsk.
Mr. Schiff is a giant artist, and definitely a legend.
Schiff is both a intellectual and musician while he's performing! Above all a Humanist ! That makes him the great pianist
What a gorgeous instrument this concertgrand !! Amazing

Phenominal performance pianist and conductor at the same time, WOW !!!!!
Thank you, delightful Sir András and Cappella Andrea Barca. A treat for us, and much appreciated.
The facial expression of the audience is gold

How extraordinary! The faces in the audience are exactly the same as when he was playing the Emperor. Same seating, same people.
Magnificent!
I see he got his imperial as requested ! Well done
Very mature thank you
I Love Andras Schiffer
His name is SCHIFF !
With Erich Hoebarth of the Concentus Musicus Wien and Quatuor Mosaïques as concertmaster. Not bad...
La re vive el señor de la primera fila
Andras Schiffer é de grande sensibilidade, .
His name is SCHIFF !

@@chriss6733 How old fashioned!
@@docm27 no banjo's either.
Never mind.
@@chriss6733 Did you attend Book 1 or Book 2? My wife and I attended Book 2.
Andrea Doria - Titanic ?
Еxcellent performance, but Andras Schiff is still not Wilhelm Kempf.
You are so right. And thank God for that! Schiff has so much more imagination, so many different insights as to how the music is put together.
