Cool stuff. Not sure if you're still building in 2024 but may i suggest keeping both ends of your wtc under mechanical tension to prevent blowouts? Option b would be cutting and polishing a matching o ring groove in the cylinder itself.

Where did you purchase the plastic tube and the O-Rings from ..... I can only find O-Ring: 64 mm Nominal Inside Dia., 70 mm Nominal Outside Dia. 3mm and it leaks ....
He used a 60cc syringe, assuming the piston stroke remained the same and ignoring the loss of capacity due to the threaded rod I would say 60 grams (about 2 ounces)
