@@DEXTERm410 I play Stalker 2 on my Rog Ally X with Xbox Game Pass and on my Series X of course. It looks great and runs smooth. Only on Steam Deck it runs like PS1 because Steam Deck is trash. And on the laggy Oled display without VRR every new game runs like ps1 XD.

Unreal Engine 5 with this level of graphical fidelity just doesn't do well on the Deck. All the games using it suffer from really bad performance. The optimization for Stalker 2 is shit in general, but I don't think we'll be seeing the Deck run any game using UE 5 running at a constant 45+ FPS with no dips.
@@jangredgoodluck nah silent hill 2 remake is not as stable on the Deck as it could be, but it's definitely playable. Bear in mind, though, that Silent Hill 2 is more of a linear map while Stalker 2 is a huge open world being simulated. That changes things a lot more than people would like to admit
While the game isn't optimized, I agree, Steam Deck isn't a magic powerhouse either. It has a weak 4-core CPU and a GT1050~ level integrated GPU. Basically, almost every laptop with Ryzen 5/7 (6 cores/12 threads) and Vega 7/8/11 - is a Steam Deck. Its only saving grace is a smaller screen that runs the game at low resolution and even that won't be enough to run the game decently very soon.
To give you an idea of how toxic a game can be: I just watched a video after the new patch on another channel. The author in the game was pulling out a tablet (which I compared to Steam Deck in my comment). And also shot badly (because it's not as comfortable as with a mouse) at enemies. I marked the minus with gamepad(because I myself, also badly shoot with them😁). And the author deleted my comment and complained about "THREATS".🤦🏼♂️ My comment: "Wow, this game has Steam Deck and you can play on Steam Deck in Steam Deck! Demonstration of how bad it is to shoot with a gamepad, even one as cool as Valve's😁" What pit of insanity is this world descending into...

And thanks Xbox Play Anywhere I play my own Xbox Games native of course at the same save point on the go. No one use streaming on the go. Everybody plays Stalker 2 native on the Rog Ally X with Xbox Game Pass. :)
