‼️ hey i just wanna point out a few things regarding the Spotify event. the management at that event was extremely poor. the organisers oversold the tickets. the venue was too small. the staff should’ve taken control of the situation immediately as soon as people started pushing each other but they didn't, instead stray kids had to step in and handle the problem themselves. all in all the management was beyond unprofessional. however, the reason why such chaos happened in the first place was because *fans* were literally climbing over the fence to get into the vip section. these people filled up the already packed space and ended up hurting the fans in the front. and that’s why even if some fans near the stage wanted to move back as the boys instructed, they probably couldn’t because there was no space left. tho they should’ve stayed calm bc that excessive amount of screaming did not help either. and to be honest, when fans are selfish and inconsiderate of others like this, no matter how well-organised the concert is, it won’t stop the chaos from happening. So really, *both* parties contributed to this whole mess. They both shared some levels of fault for this accident. I just hope we could all appreciate the boys’ professionalism and take the Jakarta event as a lesson. *The organisers shall do better, and the fans shall behave.* Cheers.
I literally got flashbacks to music bank in berlin (some people in the front had to get out because they couldn't breath because they got pushed against the barrier and I also got a bit of a panic attack) and the vav concert in Essen... VAV also stopped their talking session to tell the fans to step back because there wasn't enough space ... it was a whole mess because the venue was too small ughh
Chan voice kinda seem like ”Please Listen!!! I understand you’re our fans but others are getting injured right in front of us!!” and I am dying because of Jisung’s english!!Support StrayKids all the way!!!
Chan got frustrated when telling stays to move back, I low-key got a bit scared damn he is intimidating when he's so pissed. He sounds like a teacher when they he like "ok you know what, we can do this for hours, I'll just wait."
My ballet teacher is exactly like that LOL. If we can't think of an answer to her question, she leaves the room and comes back an hour later demanding an answer
Hey I'm a baby stay^^ do you mind if I ask what is the tittle of the song that they performed? I wanna watch the full vid but I dunno what to type😊 Thank you :)
I love how when Chan gets frustrated and annoyed, Han as one of the members who speak english immediately steps up to help him. This shows how much teamwork they have and how they always have the leaders back. Also I think it was brave for Han to say something bc I think Felix and seungmin were quite scared bc they didn’t really know what to do. So I loved how Han braved up and said something for Chan.
Your comment is mega old now but Yes you have a point han was extremely brave for that you can tell he got alot of anxiety near the end of that short clip but he still helped cause chan was frustrated and stays were in danger
Since this video is now popping up, I have to add sth to your comment. Only Han and Chan could speak up because they were the only ones have holding hand-held mics while feeling confident speaking English. Other members' mic won't even make a sound even if they speak. It is true Han is brave but the implied comparison with other members is just quite unfair.
@@icez8092 please replay the vedio your opinion is respectful for me but as you replay the vedio you can clearly see 2 other members also has the hand Mice, one on left with orange shirt and second if I'm not wrong lee know beside han!
Okay but Chan was genuinely expressing his frustration during the Spotify event and I can’t praise him enough for that. Most idols don’t have the guts to get mad at their fans lol. Jisung did a good job staying calm though. He and Chan both handled the situation so well.
He wasn't mad or frustrated or whatever he was just making sure that their fans are fine because he and they all love their fans he was just requesting them and caring for them ☺☺☺
I honestly wish more idols would openly show their frustration with crazy, over the top fans that are putting the safety of others at risk. Chan and Jisung did a great job handling the situation.
OOOOOF i was sad bc Chan kept getting mad and he looked like he was blaming himself also the rest of the members looked so scared and when Minho told Jisung he saw someone else Jisung literally got really scared and kept begging Chan also T^T but i hope the Stays that fainted/ got injured are ok
It’s not all the fans fault, there was no space. People kept jumping over the VIP area so it was wayyy more forwards than it should have been. Some people would’ve backed up but the truth to it is, there was no space to back up
@@cedessanchez18 i guess not really they didn't care, but from what I've read from the other comments, there was really no space to move back. because previously some fans (that weren't supposed to be in VIP section at the front) had climbed over the border thus overcrowding the VIP section, so it went more forward (which is why chan and jisung were asking them to move back) So both management and fans' fault
it seemed he was frustrated he can't help more while fans were (possibly) getting injured. I was so frustrated watching it and was screaming at screen: "wth is wrong with you, BangChan is telling you to move and step back!!" Note: I've read that most of the problem was due to oversold tickets to show so there was not enough space.
Oh bless his heart, Jisung looked so horrified at the spotify event at fans being hurt. It takes a lot of guts for idols to tell their fans to behave - I respected Exo when they left the stage because fans were misbehaving and I respect Stray Kids for it too. When people can offer each other a minimum amount of respect concerts are really fun but when people act selfish it can very quickly become hell.
I really salute JYPE for choosing artists with great attitude. The second incident also happened to GOT7 and both groups did the same reaction. I'm stanning Stray Kids now. And I'm in love with Chan's accent.
I think JYP is the only healthy agency I stand in all the agencies I love, the members of each group are so supportive of their sunbaes and elders, they love each other and they behave well, they eat healthy, they rest enough and have a lot of room to do so in their agency, their air is pure (like in hospitals) their food is organic, even JYP himself said at a conference that they had a psychological following for their mental health, but they still work very hard as we're used to see in the kpop industry! And omg how I was shook by jisung's english in that situation, I agreed with him right away on the moment and saw that Chan was getting mad with the situation and it made me sad, but after that clip I was like okay Han pop off with that english!!
I love that Chan had the courage to be like “if you don’t step back we’re not doing the show” 👏🏼 mature thing to do, honey props to him for standing up like that. I STAN 👏🏽❤️
In America, the band always asks the audience, to step two feet away from the stage & if they don't comply, the band usually walks off the stage. Sometimes they didn't come back out either. 😢 Been there more than once where this has happened. Another time people were throwing 🧻 toilet at R.E.M & THEN it started 🌧️ raining. Wet toilet paper is a bummer. Michael Stipes told people if they don't keep their A** Wipe to themselves they're walking off. It was very disrespectful of the audience. They cut the show way short.
Reasons why I love stray kids - care for safety - handsome boys - talented - supportive of other Kpop groups - handsome boys - funny - cute :3 - They are stray kids everyone loves them! They are gods😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I forgot to mention that the fans were not able to move back because there wasn’t any space left. The area in front of the stage belonged to the fans with vip tickets (ig?) and some fans who weren’t supposed to be there ended up climbing over the fence which resulted in the area being packed. Some people were fainting and all. :(
@@underwaterwaves that's awful!! It's more of a management and booking issue than anything. I wish SKZ was informed of this, because they'd have come up with something so that everyone could be comfortable.
Based on what I remember reading about the incident, the main problem was that they sold more tickets then they could fit people inside, thus the place became too crowded and the situation we saw in the video occurred.
Aw, I felt so bad for Chan and Jisung...you could tell how frustrated Chan was getting, and Jisung bless his heart... ❤️ (though, his English was phenomenal, just to say). It's a shame that that sort of stuff happens at events, but it says a lot about the boys that they refused to move on until it was safe for the fans ❤️
jojogingerbae101 No jisung is fluent in English. He studies in Malaysia where English is the top priority in learning. Other than that, he also studies at an international school where English is their main language. I know that since I also from Malaysia. It just that maybe his accent is different from the Aussie line.
The one that took place in Jakarta just hurts me so bad. Chan and Jisung were doing their best in talking to the fans, but you can see the frustration on Chan's face. He was angry with himself because he felt like it's their fault this situation appeared. He was so upset, but he did his best, this wasn't mistake on their side at all, it just happens. I really hope he knows that. They handled it great, they did not panic, that's important. It just ripped my heart seeing him taking the responsibility for this in his head.
@@HawaiiYou88 they were really worried, but it was not the fans fault either, they were in shock. The organizers fucked up. This is dangerous. They could be seriously sued
it's not completely the fans's fault either. there's like this "border" between the vip holder and the free (if i'm not wrong there's a free one? correct me if i'm wrong) holder, but people can climb in the vip lane (the place where they shoot the video around 1:00). so some people just get into the vip lane and it got overcrowded, then the security told people to get back while people on the back keeps on pushing to the front. that's why some people passed out, because they were pressed from both the front and back (and imagine their body on the "border" thingy). at least that's what i heard from instagram, the back (non vip) part of the place is empty af
not to mention the fact that there are also non stays there at the time (alan walker and anne-marie fans). someone said that they heard like these people that came only to see "kpop idols" and they don't even know who the fanchant is about, nor who is on the banner they are holding
@@joanna9089 I mean I get it. You see your beloved artist and you wanna be as close as possible to them. But jeez hysteric fans are just the worse and really tend to ruin such experiences for others.
Chan is so mature and down to earth, he always manages the situations the best he can, also, I love how Han is also always supporting Chan and the other members when they have problems.
it’s great that they stopped the concert so that nobody gets hurt. and Chan being angry at stay straight up was refreshing. no idols really have the balls to be upset with their fandom and him telling the concert goers to back up and sounding annoyed was great. Han also sounded really fluent in english and he stayed really calm and firm which was also very professional of him. it just goes to show that stray kids are amazing people. if you don’t stan them already...START!
chill, this comment was 6 months ago, ik your stating your opinion but a rookie group like them is like so professional already, not like others they still need to process a bit of their skills
Gosh I never expected this sort of level of professionalism out of a rookie group bc I know if I was in that situation I would be frantic as hell figuring out what I need to do, they handled all these situations extremely well for their experience and I’m so so proud of them and even as frustrated and tense as everyone was in Jakarta they still tried to remain as calm as possible and do everything as orderly and neat as possible, ugh I love them so much and their level of professionalism at this stage is so amazing bc I have seen other groups who have been performing for way longer who haven’t treated situations like these as well as skz has
Also, remember when they performed in the rain and IN slipped twice (quite badly as well) and Minho too, and in the same performance chan stopped changbin from doing the flip in District 9 cause it was dangerous. I love my professional and hardworking boys :)
I was in the Spotify Stage event and I can say it was really terrible. Although some artists have performed before Stray Kids, you can tell that the crowd really came for Stray Kids. I was at the back (near the door) and didn't notice the fence that separates the Spotify Premium and Free users and I was shocked that people were getting pushed against the fence. I saw one girl being carried in a stretcher and I think she fainted from the stress and not being able to breathe. I saw how Stray Kids were frustrated to communicate with the fans, as I think most of them did not understand what they're saying (language barrier?) and it took the organizers a while to finally get the audience to understand. Being a foreigner, I didn't understand what the organizers were saying but I think they said that the Stray Kids stage won't push through unless they follow the safety protocols. In the end, Stray Kids came back and were able to perform several songs. People were singing along the songs and some just did the fan chants. Hopefully in the next Stray Kids events, the organizers put stricter protocols,
Idk why but this video really made me feel like han is the soul of this group. All of them are so special and each of them have their own roles they bring to the group but this video showed me how attentive and adaptable han is. He's reliable and if Chan being the leader is like the president then han feels like a VP. How well this group works together makes stray kids so special
But no one gonna listen to her because they dont understand lol. They'll only respond to indonesian word hahaha, which is "mundur". And we can heard so many people screaming and crying that word out loud. Just saying hahah
I remember when I watched BTS concert back in 2017 in Indonesia, it was chaotic af. I got pushed around to the point my feet can’t even touch the ground. I feel like my panic attack might start or even worse if I stayed there longer I might end up losing oxygen. So I decided to move back. But the people keep on pushing forward making it hard to move to the back. I end up yelling some profanities to them in Bahasa Indonesia, even let my boots (I wear those kind of hm boots which really hard) steps on their feet since I’m just done with them. I was saying something around the line “If you wanna move forwards then move away first, stupid. I’m trying to go back bastard.” Actually it’s even more nastier than that since profanities in Bahasa Indonesia is way harsher. I just don’t care if they’re smaller than me or younger, some even get physically pushed by me since I’m just done trying to be nice 😭😭
@@shsl_lazy They are fans. kpop fans have stop with this "well they're not real fans" you're just disregarding the real issues within the community. A LOT of kpop fans that are in this very comment section, would probably not act any different.
that spotify concert tested my patience. even just watching it here. at 2:48 minho noticed something happened and wanted to do something but couldn’t cos he isn’t strong in english so he tried to get jisung. at 2:55 jisung started noticing all the injuries and things i think and was so shocked and then minho told him at 3:01 and then he started trying to stop it. they all handled that situation extremely well and frankly the best i have ever seen out of the other situations. big props to all of them. my respect continues to increase daily for them all. even if it may not seem like it, they all helped. jeongin was showing his displeasure with his face and actions. hyunjin tried to shush everyone by saying ‘shh’, chan shouting out. lee know pointing out places. jisung trying to calm them down. seungmin and felix and changbin motioning for them to go back and quiten down. they work the best as a team and are amazing. just saying, if you didn’t already, you should stan them (edit: i have edited out wj’s name because ik some people aren’t comfortable with him)
I can understand him lol because I do acting as a hobby and want to make a career in it, but we do rehearsals, I find I can remember other people's lines easier than mine!!😂
How they handle mistakes, struggles, situations and encourage each other and their fans… it’s SPECIAL. Stray Kids from the beginning have always shown us an extra level of amazing that other groups could learn from. They truly care for their fans & each other. STAY.
I mean, I felt intimidated watching Bang Chan instructing the audience through a screen. Can't imagine how the fans at the Spotify event weren't listening.
it's not that they're not listening, they can't. due to bad security some people from the non-vip zone get to climb into the vip, so it's overcrowded. people can't move back, they'll crush those behind them too.
I remember watching a video where Chan also slipped during their showcase.. he fell real hard but still managed to get back up so fast because it will be his part next. Some of the members did not even know that he slipped cause he handled it too well even if the fall looked painful.
When they get called Monster Rookies, it's cause they don't give the feel of being rookies. They're so professional and do their best to get a situation under control. I'm a little shocked that Chan's slip from the Survival Show wasn't included. That was a hard fall and only one or two members saw him go down.
you can see woojin nod a little at a person or group in the crowd before he gets chans attention. I appreciate how calm he was about it to keep the panic down. And also how well he communicated to chan that it was an apparent head injury without scaring anybody. you can see from the other members reactions to it later that it was probably quite serious. He was communicating with the audience and looking for people who specifically needed help while chan and han directed the crowd accordingly. I noticed minho was also doing something similar at the end.
chan was like "u dont wanna go back yall??? okay imma wait i can wait like that for HOURS" im lowkey sCARED he was about to square up edit : WHAT THE i have 4,6k likes !!! thank you so much i just figured out izjfke thank ya ! ♡

bro concerts in Indonesia are just like that tho :/// this is probably just lvl 5, most local events/concerts usually is more crowded and dangerous than this. because usually the ones who got injured didn't get evacuated, there's also many harassments and crimes in the crowd too :/

Can we just take a second to admire the fact that Chan is so caring? Like he not only cares for the safety of Stay, but he always makes sure his members are always on the right track. Chan deserves the world❤❤
The Spotify event was really scary. I was at the front (like, I was pushed against the fence), and I could've sworn my ribs hurt from being pushed. The management was unorganized and some Stays that were beside me even got pushed over the fence After the event, my dad (who was one of the crew in charge of the stage) took me with him backstage and apologized to Chan about what happened during the event. Chan said it was alright and he also asked me if I was hurt. I only told him that my ribs kinda hurt and he apologized on behalf of the other Stays. The other members were concerned for those who got injured or fainted before, during, and after the event. They also asked the management to be stricter and to have the next events on a wider and bigger space, that way, all the fans won't be pushing around. They also asked if they could extend the stage so that they won't only perform on one stage. This was seriously another side if the boys that I have never seen. They cared, not only for themselves, but also for their fans, their family Edit: Hey it’s been 5 months since I made this comment. Don’t worry, my ribs are fine now Chan still kept touch with my dad after the event. We actually live in Dubai but my dad was told to go to Jakarta to arrange the event. He only did what he was told and even asked if he could bring me along
Thank you for sharing. I hope it didn't took long for you to recover from the physical pain and was not traumatized by the situation... Also, I'm glad to know that stray kids really did their best in handling the situation and even suggested countermeasures for future events. Edit: I love skz so much especially Chan. They're so sweet, caring, and understanding. I just hope they didn't blamed theirselves for the whole situation.
Wow, it's unbelievable what can happen with poor organizers and overexcited fans Hope you're better ♥️ Can someone tell me when was that concert? And where? 🙌 Also, skz never stop amazing me ✨ they're so sweet and caring And for me Chan is really special too In the video you can see how worried they were and compromised to help the fans be safe, like you can see his leadership ♥️
Watching Chan and everyone else get visibly upset at the Spotify thing because people weren’t listening is so heartbreaking. They commit every aspect of their lives to give us this music and community and sometimes even sacrifice their health, the least people could do is be respectful and listen.
If people were so disrespectful, why do we call them fans at all? It should be ‘threat to society’! All they were doing was yelling when skz were trying to sort it out, but with all the fans being absolutely fvcking awful, it was so hard! Skz had every right to end the show!
My friend was at the spotify event and she clarified it was soo unorganized. She went there with some friends and then this girl behind them kept on pushing even though Chris (Chan) told them to move back. She was pushing really hard and then one of her friends fainted. According to her, the girl who pushed her friend is like a 9th grader. The girls who went there are 6th graders Edit: The worse part is that the security saw her faint and stepped on but did nothing. They just stared at her. Luckily when she got out she immediately went to the hospital. She was fine
yes, my friends went there too some of the fans dont understand english and they are trying their best to understand, in result, the staff and securities had to tell and yell at them one by one to move backwards
They really stay professional, even when they make mistakes, and that makes me happy. The fact that they keep going even when they slip or fall is really encouraging. I seriously hope they know that they're doing well and to not be too hard on themselves when they make mistakes.
The thing is, most of them were screaming because they're hurt. They were shouting to ask the others to move back. The one who recorded this are in the vip area, which means she was pushed to the front, and we can hear (in indonesian of course) that people around her were begging the others to move back. They cant move back at all because people from behind keep pushing and trying to go to the front.
as an indonesian stay, i didn't go there but my friend did. we were all really disappointed and embarrassed and really made a bad first impression. it really broke my heart to see my own country making stray kids panicked and worrying, yet still won't listen to them. there will be a stray kids concert later in indonesia soon, and i really hope indonesian stays could make up for what they did in the spotify event.
Me too and My friend said that The Friends that Pushed the Audience are Sasaengs and yeah they just want Stray Kids to Notice them... It hurts for me to see them Disappointed and its really Profesional how Bangchan and the others do that
I am an Indonesian, and just known about this issue now. I also feel the same, kinda embrased bcs I know how many fans are being 'over' for their idol. Honestly, when Chan told them to stay back, and they didn't listen to him, it reminds me how loud my classmates during lessons and they didn't listen to our teacher who told them to shut up. Exactly a same situation :v
I am really sad too because when my friends were in twiceland most of the other onces gropped the twice members.(sorry for my bad english, english is not my first language
@@zyeqingoi i agree, they have to try to keep their composure which really sucks for them when fans are being like that but it could really mess some things up which is why I think Chris was was trying not to be too harsh though he was clearly pissed
They handled the situation really well, even though they are still rookies, they do their best for Stays. I am really happy I became a part of this fandom!
Chan really stepped in and Han kept everyone calm. I can’t believe some toxic fans have the audacity to disregard all other fans and be so inconsiderate. The staff was poor and unprofessional, and should’ve handled the situation, not the idols who are trying to preform and really shouldn’t have to deal with things like this. Stan Stray Kids forever ❤️
Stan with mind fir other fans. If people were so disrespectful, why do we call them fans at all? It should be ‘threat to society’! aww during the spotify event you can see that at first they're all waving and smiling at fans but as time went on each of them got more and more concerned. jeongin at 2:33 looked so worried for the injured fans and at 2:52 both minho and jisung looked so stressed :(( chan and jisung were trying so hard to get everyone to move back and i'm so proud of them, they handled the situation in such a mature way
It's not surprising that they would stumble and fall on stage. For one, their choreography can be so intense at times where it's understandable to make mistakes. Also stages can be very slick and slippery and unsafe. They always do their best just for us and they work as hard as possible always to improve so we must continue to support them no matter how many mistakes are made. Everyone makes mistakes and we're all human💜💖💗
I'm very new here, and o th didn't reised that they are so new! I just realised when I saw their debut stage and it said "one year ago" and I was like "What?! Never!" But this is so professional
*I just notice that When Han Does Jokes no one laughs but when something bad happen to his members he help them like how you can't stan Him not only him all of Themmm! They're not just Rookie Monsters but an Angel Indeed!*
i got so annoyed during the spotify event. i get it, we all get happy when we see/meet our idols but jesus, some people are already getting hurt. chan has said to “move back” a lottt of times, but oh my gosh. is it that hard to obey instructions?
I've been in a situation like this, sometimes 3 people being stubborn can pile up to 90 or more people being unable to move, it might not have been everyone's fault or overcrowding but if the person behind you can't move neither can you, it's just as frustrating for the audience sometimes
it's because they can't actually moved back. there's like this fence between the vip and non vip lane (?), yet the security also keeps on telling people to back off while some people also climb into the vip lane, which makes some people to be pushed from their front and back (in the end some passed out), that's why they can't back off
@@joanna9089 i just read a comment that even when they moved back people in the back were getting so crushed they couldn't breathe, apparently the VIP section was oversold and had bad security so people were sneaking in and it just got out of hand
The vip section wasnt that crowded until people from the non vip section started to climb over the fence, overcrowding and literally disabling any sense of movement from the vip section. Thus even if the original vip audience wants to move back, they physically couldnt, all thanks to ridiculous people.
The second one got to me the most. They looked all so worried and tried to have the situation under control but the majority of the audience didn't even seem to care. It breaks my heart to see them so worried :(
It wasn't entirely that the majority didn't care, it was because they simply couldn't move. When you're in a tight-packed space (due to some people sneaking in the VIP area and making it overcrowded), you can't move if the others around you can't/won't move. It's like sardines in a can.
This vid really shows how attentive Jisung is tho...Right before he helps Hyunjin, he quickly glances at him to know for sure he needs help, you can see him trying to figure out how Chan's reacting and if someone else should talk for him at 1:25 and then thinking hard on what to say to calm the fans down (him choosing the 'understanding route' was really smart, if only the fans stopped screaming). If Chan wasn't the leader, my next pick would be Jisung, he knows how to keep calm at the right moments and figures out when and how to help out so naturally/quickly, it's insane.
In fact Jisung was named "leader" of 3racha, Chan is the "manager" and Changbin the "maknae", he is also the one who cares for and takes command in the maknae line (Hyunjin, Seungmin, Jisung, Felix and IN) when the hyung they are not. Despite acting loud and mischievous, he is really attentive to everything, you can see how much Chan trusts him, when he saw Jisung speak, Chan fell silent for a few moments to let him speak. It's nice that at every awards ceremony, Jisung is always by Chan's side when giving speeches, nodding and smiling at everything he says, like his right hand.
The girl that screamed "OH MY GOD MOVE" get that girl a trophy now (I thought it was impossible for me to love Chan more but the fact that he's not afraid to express his anger towards fans and that he held the show for his injured fans and made sure they were okay just gave me another reason to love him)
poor jeongin at the end he might've been really tired he look like he got dizzy or something but ofc he's always smiling no matter what, can someone tell me where i can find the full video of that pls? :))

0:24 Oh god really. I'm from Indonesia. And.. I really embarassed because of this. People in Indonesia really don't think about their safety. They are too obsessed with the concert. Indonesia is indeed difficult to regulate now. They just want to go around.
Ikr first of all why can't they move?! They don't know English? But at least if you go to concert learning English is also important. Second, are they dumb? What if someone near them got hurt or even bleed and they still fangirling UGH
I hadn't ever watched the Jakarta footage... I knew of what happened and all the details but I never watched footage because I knew it would be... Well... Hard to watch to say the least. It's so beyond frustrating that THAT kind of burden had to be placed on the boys when its entirely the fault of the venue. It was OVER SOLD and POORLY CONTROLLED and innocent people got legitimately hurt because of that. I just hope Chan and all the other boys didn't put any blame on themselves. It WASN'T their fault and Chan and Jisung did the best they could to try and calm the crowd and somehow not losing their cool in the process. Chan got close at 2:18 and I'm honestly amazed that he wasn't already screaming at them at that point. You can tell he feels totally helpless. If I was a singer who saw that happening right before my eyes I'd promptly burst into tears knowing that what I say isn't accomplishing anything. Trying to get people to CALM THE FUCK DOWN AND MOVE BACKWARDS but to absolutely no avail. Apparently because there WASN'T any space to move backwards to begin with. And again, the entire situation could have been avoided if the venue wasn't OVER FILLED and if they had more and better staff. People should have been dragged out for that kind of reckless behavior, lack of spacial awareness, and COMPLETE DISREGARD for other peoples health and safety.
Thank u for getting this information it means a lot to us indonesian stays :)
Pinkfluffyelefant This is a reason why I don’t go to concerts, because I get panic attack when STAY in small places and I am broke 😅😅

They have known eachother the longest out of all the members
Your comment is mega old now but Yes you have a point han was extremely brave for that you can tell he got alot of anxiety near the end of that short clip but he still helped cause chan was frustrated and stays were in danger
Since this video is now popping up, I have to add sth to your comment. Only Han and Chan could speak up because they were the only ones have holding hand-held mics while feeling confident speaking English. Other members' mic won't even make a sound even if they speak. It is true Han is brave but the implied comparison with other members is just quite unfair.

Okay but Chan was genuinely expressing his frustration during the Spotify event and I can’t praise him enough for that. Most idols don’t have the guts to get mad at their fans lol. Jisung did a good job staying calm though. He and Chan both handled the situation so well.
He wasn't mad or frustrated or whatever he was just making sure that their fans are fine because he and they all love their fans he was just requesting them and caring for them ☺☺☺
Yesh they did
Jay J yeah obvi he had the fans in his best interest but you can tell he was getting really frustrated lmao

Lol yes he was frustrated. You can tell by his actions + voice.
I honestly wish more idols would openly show their frustration with crazy, over the top fans that are putting the safety of others at risk. Chan and Jisung did a great job handling the situation.
the spotify stage makes me lowkey mad at the fans but also highkey... nervous, anxious? maybe intimidated? chan's leader mode was *on* y'all

It’s not all the fans fault, there was no space. People kept jumping over the VIP area so it was wayyy more forwards than it should have been. Some people would’ve backed up but the truth to it is, there was no space to back up
Can someone please explain what was happening? I am very confused
Id like a cup of TAE with SUGA and a KOOKIE I saw pictures and videos and the back was pretty empty bc people wanted to go to the front
I know right...
you could tell how pissed chan was at that spotify stage and i’m not even surprised even i would be
s a a r a h he wasn’t mad he was upset because there was injured and passed out fans but the other fans didn’t care (?)
@@yeeyee8996 what I read is that they sold more tickets than people could fit so they were too crowded
Yeah, I felt like he was about to burst so he kept putting the mic far away to contain himself.. what the fans did was really immature.
it seemed he was frustrated he can't help more while fans were (possibly) getting injured. I was so frustrated watching it and was screaming at screen: "wth is wrong with you, BangChan is telling you to move and step back!!"
Note: I've read that most of the problem was due to oversold tickets to show so there was not enough space.

Barbie Campano mhm I feel like JYPE selects a lot of people with great attitudes

In America, the band always asks the audience, to step two feet away from the stage & if they don't comply, the band usually walks off the stage. Sometimes they didn't come back out either. 😢
Been there more than once where this has happened.

They said "please" so many times. 😭 No matter how many times I've watched it, my heart still hurts. 😭

Still can't believe the organizers stayed quite while SKZ are trying to ensure safety of the crowd for the whole 5-10minutes *smh*
AND they oversold the tickets for their selfish fvcking benefit!
Hopefully in the next Stray Kids events, the organizers put stricter protocols,
But did they go back?
this video proves how professional they are ;-;

Can we just take a second to admire the fact that Chan is so caring? Like he not only cares for the safety of Stay, but he always makes sure his members are always on the right track. Chan deserves the world❤❤
1:33 jisung's English is amazing here like brooo. And such respect for our boys bravo. they tackled the situation professionally
He's good at English because he studied in Malysia for a while uwu
His voice is so soothing tho
He sounded so pissed AAAAA i wanna hug him uwu
The Spotify event was really scary. I was at the front (like, I was pushed against the fence), and I could've sworn my ribs hurt from being pushed. The management was unorganized and some Stays that were beside me even got pushed over the fence
After the event, my dad (who was one of the crew in charge of the stage) took me with him backstage and apologized to Chan about what happened during the event.
They cared, not only for themselves, but also for their fans, their family
Edit: Hey it’s been 5 months since I made this comment. Don’t worry, my ribs are fine now
Chan still kept touch with my dad after the event.
I hope you’re ok.
I'm so sorry are you okay though?
Wow, it's unbelievable what can happen with poor organizers and overexcited fans
Hope you're better ♥️
Can someone tell me when was that concert? And where? 🙌
Also, skz never stop amazing me ✨ they're so sweet and caring
And for me Chan is really special too
In the video you can see how worried they were and compromised to help the fans be safe, like you can see his leadership ♥️
Albeira Cruz uh-?
Professionalism at its finest
Watching Chan and everyone else get visibly upset at the Spotify thing because people weren’t listening is so heartbreaking. They commit every aspect of their lives to give us this music and community and sometimes even sacrifice their health, the least people could do is be respectful and listen.
If people were so disrespectful, why do we call them fans at all? It should be ‘threat to society’!
All they were doing was yelling when skz were trying to sort it out, but with all the fans being absolutely fvcking awful, it was so hard! Skz had every right to end the show!
Am I the only one who finds the first part hella cute?
No you're not I was screaming inside bc it's too late here😂❤ but we know how nice jisung is

The girls who went there are 6th graders
Edit: The worse part is that the security saw her faint and stepped on but did nothing. They just stared at her. Luckily when she got out she immediately went to the hospital. She was fine
yes, my friends went there too some of the fans dont understand english and they are trying their best to understand, in result, the staff and securities had to tell and yell at them one by one to move backwards
I'm from Jakarta and i feel sorry for that:(
@@devinaantari7945 me myself is from jakarta too hahaha i feel sorry :(
They really stay professional, even when they make mistakes, and that makes me happy. The fact that they keep going even when they slip or fall is really encouraging. I seriously hope they know that they're doing well and to not be too hard on themselves when they make mistakes.
Bang Chan has teacher energy here: “okay I’ll wait” 😂😂 iconic
You can watch the moment his dad mode activated lmao
disgusting how fans keep screaming and ignore what chan is saying
The thing is, most of them were screaming because they're hurt. They were shouting to ask the others to move back. The one who recorded this are in the vip area, which means she was pushed to the front, and we can hear (in indonesian of course) that people around her were begging the others to move back. They cant move back at all because people from behind keep pushing and trying to go to the front.
@@uaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh umm I agree but that has nothing to do with race-
You know what, those fan's are not "stays". Like is it that hard to listen to your idol tell u smt that is not even hard to do. They are so annoying 😑

@@ake8977 finally someone who understands :/
How can you not stan this group? They're talented, adorable, kind, and sincere. They really know how to appreciate and care for their fans.
as an indonesian stay, i didn't go there but my friend did. we were all really disappointed and embarrassed and really made a bad first impression. it really broke my heart to see my own country making stray kids panicked and worrying, yet still won't listen to them. there will be a stray kids concert later in indonesia soon, and i really hope indonesian stays could make up for what they did in the spotify event.
Exactly a same situation :v
as an indonesian stay. i feel ashamed..
Im a indonesian stay... I feel embarrassed
I am really sad too because when my friends were in twiceland most of the other onces gropped the twice members.(sorry for my bad english, english is not my first language
I mean... if Felix just yelled and told them to move back in his deep voice, they would’ve moved
or ran away :"D
Exactly I was like Felix YELL at them to move with the scary deep voice!
but if he did, thing might turn out ugly
@@zyeqingoi i agree, they have to try to keep their composure which really sucks for them when fans are being like that but it could really mess some things up which is why I think Chris was was trying not to be too harsh though he was clearly pissed
holy shi- they would 🥲
They handled the situation really well, even though they are still rookies, they do their best for Stays. I am really happy I became a part of this fandom!
i know this is some serious moment but.
jisung’s english still makes me uwu tho i have been watching videos of him speaking in English
Chan is born to be leader in any situation
lycosidae cold Ik that’s why he is my BIAS WRECKER
Chan really stepped in and Han kept everyone calm. I can’t believe some toxic fans have the audacity to disregard all other fans and be so inconsiderate. The staff was poor and unprofessional, and should’ve handled the situation, not the idols who are trying to preform and really shouldn’t have to deal with things like this. Stan Stray Kids forever ❤️
Stan with mind fir other fans.
If people were so disrespectful, why do we call them fans at all? It should be ‘threat to society’!
All they were doing was yelling when skz were trying to sort it out, but with all the fans being absolutely fvcking awful, it was so hard! Skz had every right to end the show!
aww during the spotify event you can see that at first they're all waving and smiling at fans but as time went on each of them got more and more concerned. jeongin at 2:33 looked so worried for the injured fans and at 2:52 both minho and jisung looked so stressed :(( chan and jisung were trying so hard to get everyone to move back and i'm so proud of them, they handled the situation in such a mature way
It's not surprising that they would stumble and fall on stage.
True! it can happen to everybody even to famous american people like beyoncé who felt down the stairs at one of her concert.
I just hope anyone who falls on stage won’t hurt themselves badly in the process it’s my only fear tbh
im a new stay and this makes me respect them so much more than I already did
Same:-)
And this, everyone, is how I become a 100% stay. Seeing that they care about eachother and their fans warms my heart
I think the people who was their got angry I guess so but whatever straykids told to them was good for them
Can you believe they're still a rookie group and had already reached this level of professionalism?
I'm very new here, and o th didn't reised that they are so new! I just realised when I saw their debut stage and it said "one year ago" and I was like
"What?! Never!" But this is so professional
Fr tho
*I just notice that When Han Does Jokes no one laughs but when something bad happen to his members he help them like how you can't stan Him not only him all of Themmm! They're not just Rookie Monsters but an Angel Indeed!*
Rerered_ Reccion indeed💙💙 #savesquirrel🐿
2:57 look at Han, he looks so annoyed and disappointed in Stays. Chan and Felix also look pretty annoyed the entire time.
i got so annoyed during the spotify event. i get it, we all get happy when we see/meet our idols but jesus, some people are already getting hurt. chan has said to “move back” a lottt of times, but oh my gosh. is it that hard to obey instructions?
@@jelliboo2688 people between the vip and non vip fence, actually, but your overall information is correct
The vip section wasnt that crowded until people from the non vip section started to climb over the fence, overcrowding and literally disabling any sense of movement from the vip section. Thus even if the original vip audience wants to move back, they physically couldnt, all thanks to ridiculous people.
Chan looked frustrated asf...if I was there I would’ve been scared...even if he didn’t notice me
Me too...
@@palettedpersona ahhh okay. But seeing them so worried breaks my heart 😕
@@pinksprb Yeah, it's sad.
6:31 not only Changbin at that time, but Hyunjin went to check I.N., and Chan even waited for him and comforted him💕SKZ really sweet
which stage was that?
1:40
People don’t even do that at concerts lol
9 teachers teaching their students
their hundreds (maybe even thousands!) of students 🤣
The Spotify stage confirmed that Stray Kids are Angels
TRUE
The girl that screamed "OH MY GOD MOVE" get that girl a trophy now (I thought it was impossible for me to love Chan more but the fact that he's not afraid to express his anger towards fans and that he held the show for his injured fans and made sure they were okay just gave me another reason to love him)
Time stamp?
Time stamp please?

Oh god really.

Omg the level of maturity bang chan shows is incredible, i'm so glad he's the leader of our hardworking, wonderful boys!
The world's best group I've ever seen. I'm proud of Skz, they're talented at everything and they also have a world's best pure soul.
