I suddenly remembered that vlive after concert where they're fooling around. Felix, Chan, Hyunminsung were chanting a song but Felix got it wrong then Chan raised up his hand and Hyunminsung immediately shut up while the rest of members ahave their focus on Chanlix

@woojailforeva I think they do know that the staff work hard. They're only saying that the person telling Hyunjin to plug the wires in was most likely available. Judging by the way there was no sound from behind the camera or anything. They could of at least told Hyunjin what to do then by just asking him to plug it in. All they have to do is to at least motion how to plug the stuff in behind the camera.

also Chan ALWAYS respect and thanks staffs everytime when he has an opportunity (like in MV behind the scenes, award shows, etc) so maybe just this time that the staffs didn't do their job properly. Not to add how Stray Kids were also tired because they're the one who's performing especially Chan who usually doesn't sleep well. And for me, I think majority of STAYs are not that kind of fans where so possessive just because a female staff is near at SKZ. I only see STAYs are just fooling around (tho there's some minor percentage that there is, because not all the fandom are perfect too)

Chan said on his vlive that he's an organized person, he likes to be well prepared. You can see on his vlives he often already set a playlist of song or question he wanna ask to stay. That being said, i'm sure he would feel irritated coming to an event that poorly prepared. We all cleary see it.
However i command his professionalism, yes he annoyed but he did not dwell on it but continued to give best performance for Stay. He understood the main purpose is the successful the event for Stay. To put aside your personal feelings and ability to manage your mood in public is difficult yet he managed it. I applaud him. And i really appreciated how he still look after his members under that situation, helping Hyunjin plug the monitor, removing IN choker which i think it's a badass move (stay knows IN ticklish particularly around his neck that's why he feel uncomfortable wearing tight necklace and even skin ship: kids room).
Chan, you're human who can feel emotion yet you dont allow the emotion control your head. You're the best!

I watched this live real time and it was really messy. This was a scheduled vlive mini fanmeeting but seemed like the script wasn't briefed to skz beforehand so they were confused the whole time waiting for the instructions which were relayed a bit.. slow. Even the fan comments were confused and a little bit annoyed with the staff because at this part in the video, it was the 2nd part of the show and so it was a bit frustrating how staff were so unprepared.
This part of the video, they were asked to move to that side and sit. The square mats were already arranged and prepared so skz just sat according to where the mats were placed. But the staff suddenly wants them to move and chan couldn't move because changbin's legs were there so there was no space anymore that's why he went to the other side instead. This slow instructions has been going on for a few minutes now. Next, they seungmin to work on the monitor. He's trying but he can't connect the laptop to the monitor, when I was watching this I was really annoyed already. Hyunjin checked and found out it was not even plugged in yet. Then they asked him to plug it in, which he did but how, he was clearly asking for help so chan helped him. It was not shown in this video but they made seungmin hold the laptop up in the air for a long time while also doing the monitor work. The comments were confused and flooded with fans asking to give a table for seungmin. They gave him a chair to put the laptop on after a while. This video was cut but it was going on for a long time, they had to wait for the instructions so they also had to make effort to do or talk about something else while waiting for the next instructions. This vlive was a mini fanmeeting for fans so it's understandable to get annoyed by the lack of preparations.
Anyway, this only happened for this sitting part. The rest of the vlive was much better. This was also where they did back door change position version.

Now i can kind of understand why certain vlives for groups has one member be the MC with a script... That way they don't have to wait for intructions from the staff to be relayed to them like that. I was wondering while watching this why Chan was so upset because I am a very new STAY, and wondered if there had been an argument or something between the staff and chan... I think Chan handled this stressful situation very well, he was professional and didn't take it out on his members or yelled at staff. I would be very upset too considering this VLive was poorly coordinated. This whole segment was a mess, they had a tiny monitor, had the members put stuff together, Seungmin was holding the laptop in mid air with no table to set it on for a little bit so Chan helped get a stool to put it down. Nonetheless, he put his annoyance aside and helped I.N. because I.N. doesn't particularly like necklaces and continued to be a good sport. I hope the staff learned to be more efficient and organized in the future.
He literally cannot yell at the staff tho lmao, I just hope he didn't get scolded for acting upset...

i honestly think he had every right to be mad at the staff. i think anyone would be mad if they went to an event and the staff wasn't prepared, like imagine if you went to a concert and they were still fixing the lights and it delayed the start of the concert. that's on the staff to be prepared on time

Was he verbally abusing the staff in front of everyone (for almost half an hour even)? No. That’s the difference. He didn’t lash out at the staff, unlike Irene. Irene should have talked to her manager or quietly pulled the staff aside to talk to them about whatever issue she had, which is the professional way to handle the situation. Instead she went on a tirade in front of everyone in the room, hurled insults and made her staff cry. These two situations aren’t even comparable.

Because that’s what the staff said had occurred and stated that she started to record the incident partway through Irene’s tirade. Irene was quick as anything to apologize once she realized there was video evidence of her being exceptionally unprofessional, rude and callous to her own staff.
He’s probably just annoyed the staff isn’t doing their job correctly and lazy for asking Hyunjin to plug it in when that’s not his job

!!!! He became my ult this week and thank you bc i could not pinpoint the reason why but it truly is due to his aura
To anyone who didn't watch the whole live, before they went into that position they were at a different place in the same venue, the staff had a lot of time to prepare everything properly, plus this live was announced a week before, seats were already there to match the fixed angle however the staff suddenly changed the camera angle, they also didn't plug the equipments beforehand, Seungmin had to hold the laptop in an uncomfortable position until Chan? brought a chair.. Chan is very honest with his emotions, his members were clearly uncomfortable, which made him annoyed. But after 5-10 minutes, they were all back with their giggly and bright vibe. If you stan GOT7 you'd know how unorganized jype staff are, bambam even had to cancel a flight back to thailand cuz a staff messed up... It's really annoying when people around you are being unprofessional....
And this is a great example of why he's the best leader. He was frustrated, and his displeasure was clear- but he didn't berate the staff and he still focused on his guys to make sure they were okay. He didn't turn his anger in their direction and instead channeled it to say "F this" and make things right. Taking the choker off of Jeongin I think really made him feel better. Chan knows he wouldn't speak up about it himself so he took it upon him to just get rid of it. You can see how instant the relief is for our lil maknae as soon as he realizes Chan is just getting rid of it. Seeing Jeongin feel better made Chan feel better and it's constantly clear for the guys as a whole that as long as they know one another are okay that they'll make it through whatever else is around them.

About the monitor thing: the boys were trying to connect the monitor to the laptop and then hyunjin realised that the monitor wasn't even plugged in to begin with, that's why he pulled the chord like that. THEN the staff asked him to plug it in. This vlive was extremely disorganized and I really hope it won't happen again. Stray kids deserve better.

Really glad Chan is not scared to show his real emotions to the staff. The staff is really helpful but sometimes isn’t. He was just like nct,s taeyong, he is NOT scared of doing anything in front of the staff, he even pointed the camera at the manager when he was mad. I was following the vlive that day and i was so confused because everything was messed up! First they were in a stop, then they moved to the other side to watch videos but the tv and computer were not even ready and that made chan angry and then they went back to the original spot! like they were just moving around and also when they were introducing theirselves and everything the staffs had the time to prepare the computer and tv but they didn't do it, wich forced the boys to do that and they didn't even know the laptop password at first!! chan is the leader and that was their final meet and greet to end up the promotions obviously he was stressed with everything because he care about skz and stays a lot but he kept his posture even tough we can cleary see he was really anoyed! I would be like him honestly, when i am at school and i am working but things are not working i really get mad just like chan got and that is because i want everything to be perfect but if people who work with us aren't doing things properly then obviously that is fucked up!! But chan managed to help the members and the members were concerned about chan probably because they know how stressful it is to be in his position and how much he works because we want to give the best to stray kids!! Jisung even said once that he is relieved he is not the leader because they have a lot of responsabilities to handle and he is happy that chan is a good leader!!

Bang Chan seems to be the type of person that does not get upset easily so it's scary when he is. He's very professional and he didn't want to affect the mood of his other members so he did his best to brush it off.
I know this a couple years old, but watching it now. I think Changbin was feeling the same way. His body language speaks volumes. He appears stiff and at times like he's clenching his hands/ fists. When Hyunjin was asked to plug in the monitor, Changbin looks at Chan like he's waiting to see his reaction. So I think he was as annoyed as the leader but didn't outright show it like Chan did.

So, I'm not the only one who noticed! Chan was visibly mad, but Changbin scared me a little because he was more like "silent but deadly" kind of mad ☠. They were choosing color papers to paired up and the staff kept trying to communicate with them from behind the cameras, they were indicated them which color paper to pick; Hyunjin even went behind cameras and came back really angry and handed Han the red paper without saying a word; the staff pretty much wanted to have some Minsung and Chanlix content by lying to the audience. The disrespect
i ship minsung a lot but honestly i prefer spontaneous reactions between the members, not fabricated content. they are legit funnier that way. idk if you have watched the fandom tour bowling game? the popular ships are not in one group but we stays still LOVE it.

They sometimes chart better, but skz has more overal fans and are more generally known in Korean than ateez. Chan is a really good leader and the way he was like "dude seriously? You didn't even set the camera up till just now and didn't even check the angle beforehand and THEN you don't even have the stuff ready?" made it clear that he values preparedness and forethought.

I'm not even a stan (yet), but my closest friend of 11 years who is a Stay (I love her so much) told me I just might like Bang Chan the most. I can definitely see what she meant now. I'm always appointed as leader for almost everything, and I can really relate to Chan in this situation. When members of my group are being treated unfairly, I find it incredibly infuriating as well. It's so refreshing to see a defiant leader like him who'd stand up for his members like they're family to him.
