Plus he explains it I a way even I can understand, I always learn so much from him. I don't feel the need to buy this being so close to Christmas... that isn't to say I haven't ordered one .... 🤷♂️
Good point. I play mainly single coil pick ups, and I am thoroughly dedicated to my Wampler Belle. It’s amazing how much money I’ve spent trying to get the classic ODR-1 tone, but now my search is over. I was blown away by the quality of the sound immediately. If you’re looking for the best low gain… Transparent style overdrive this is it. IMO.
Those low gain sounds from the Bluesbreaker side are a thing of beauty. All of the extra options are well thought out and seem very helpful. It's nice to see more great stuff coming out of Indiana. Much love to ya, Brian!
Yeah baby! I love your thinking! Now for the next step with a Quad version! I mean that sincerely. It’s so incredibly versatile that I’ve found many different uses for both a single patch as well as more layered gain staging. For live, this would be supreme for me!
Mr. Wampler, you're killing me! I just bought a 2nd pantheon and now you go and do this. Keep up the great work. Love your products. Thank you for doing what you do.
Have the Paisley DLX, Tumnus DLX and the Clarksdale. I love them all. Looks like you have another great drive pedal! I love the Double pedal format. I also have a King Of Tone that I waited 3 years for. It does a thing too.
I just got mine today. First thing out of my mouth was "whoa...". What a fantastic sounding overdrive. I set everything to 12 o'clock (presence off) and started experimenting. Not a bad sound to be had. I'm playing Les Pauls, Strats and Teles into a Fender Tweed Twin and I have the best of both amp worlds with this pedal. I've tried a ton of overdrive pedals recently and the only ones that I've kept are the Wampler pedals (this pedal and the Tumnus Deluxe). This pedal has more than enough gain but the sustain is amazing! There are plenty of tonal options with the clipping and gain switches. This pedal bumped three others off of my pedalboard. Nice job, Brian!!
Thinking about this as well. I use a tonex and want to be able to get my basic grit tone with that, and leave it alone. Then use something like this for a heavy distortion, then a slightly higher gain for solos or metal stuff we play.
Recently bought a Tumnus (which is great) then had to pick one up the Pantheon Deluxe after watching this vid, I wasn't disappointed, incredible pedal, thanks Brian.
I’ve seriously considered buying a second pantheon in the past. I love using it with the gain pretty high and putting a treble booster into it, but I also wished I had one to use at lighter gain. Thank you for this solution. Time to sell my original.
Was thinking some of the same. I have very few complaints about the original. Love it, in fact. But the Deluxe answers all of my wishes. More open jangly sound on Channel 1 is the biggest for me. Also wished it did lighter gain without sounding so thick. Channel 1 takes care of a lot actually. With this Deluxe, I'm NOT crazy about the switches on the sides though. Definitely would miss my top toggles that I can see at a glance. That said, lately I've been hitting the Gain toggle with my food when turning the pedal on, so maybe side switches are a blessing in disguise.
I love that you added midi to the pedal. Those of us who live on switchers totally appreciate this! With all those sounds on tap for combos, adding preset options would be amazing, but still,, thanks for the midi add
Thank you for including individual I/O per side! So much more versatility - e.g. light OD into compression into heavier OD. Not having that is usually the deal-breaker with most dual pedals for me. And the implementation of MIDI is super welcome as well! Also, thanks for using the official pinout for MIDI over TRS - there are way too many proprietary MIDI connectors. Imagine if all pedals were bypassable via MIDI: There wouldn't even be a need for loop switchers - just get a decent MIDI controller and you can put together a really compact pedalboard with recallable presets without the hassle of having to route all the audio trough the looper. It isn't even that difficult to retrofit it to most existing pedals.🤔 Maybe some major pedal manufacturers could make that a new standard...
Brian Wampler. The mild-mannered mad scientist of pedals slaps the industry in its face again. Giving people want they want, what they didn't know they wanted, and 110% what they need one pedal at a time.
Some of the very BEST pedals are made by Brian Wampler. I’ve got a slew of them, after being exposed to some of the better pedals this last year. Before that I was a guitar to amp kinda’ guy. Now, I have a myriad of pedals because of videos like these.🔥🔥🔥 Brian, is a terrific guy and a genius, when it comes to pedals. I’ve now purchased (Wamplers) Gearbox, Dual-Fusion, Ethereal, Ergo, and a few others, but also have a TON of other MFG’s pedals too! I spent about $3K on pedals this past year, and I’m not done! Thanks Brian, for another terrific pedal! Best! ✌🏼
This pedal sounds great and is functionally well thought out. I've really been liking these kinds of circuits lately and having both of them in one housing is just incredible. And speaking of customer ideas becoming reality, I would love to see (if at all possible and financially lucrative), the power amp section of the Bravado available as a rack unit for modelers or wet/dry configurations. Ideally it would have tone controls, but most important to me would be the Bright control. The simplicity and flexibility of its' controls would be a great fit for people who use digital solutions through real cabs. Anyhow, congratulations on another fantastic sounding and intuitive pedal Brian, take care.
I've been a Bluesbreaker fan and owner since the 90's, then the Morning Glory. Just received the Pantheon Deluxe. It immediately became my new favorite OD. Can't say enough about it. Great sound and excellent design features. I love that you can change the order. I have two other "self stacking" pedals- Led Boots by J Rockett and Amp 11 and I've always wanted to be able to switch up the order of the 2 sides, so I'm happy Wampler included that important feature. Also great the extra switches are on the sides and not internal DIP switches (yuk). The left side will easily replace my OKKO Diablo for heavier distortion. I don't use a MIDI switcher but I'm considering it, and nice to know the Pantheon will fit right in to that method. BIG THUMBS UP to Wampler!
Just purchased this. I’m excited to have the slightly closer to original blues realer circuit in conjunction with the regular pantheon. Toss a parametric EQ (wampler equator) pedal after it and this should cover every overdrive sound I need outside of fuzz
Hay Wampler, it would be nice to get a Tumnus/Pantheon dual OD. Some iterations of this are already out there but you guys would knock it out of the park with your version.
Got one yesterday. I like how you can get somewhat close to a SRV sound out of channel 2. Was tempted by the Friedman BE-OD but being able to have one pedal for rhythm and lead sounds both won the day.
i probably gonna gift me one of these for christmas because i also picked up the bass recently and i found out that my standard pantheon works great for bass with 18v input. also my fuzztration smokes everything on the bass with 18v input. you should do a video with wampler pedals on bass brian. i own more than 50 pedals and i really need to say that my wampler pedals sound the best and the build quality is simply superb.
I had complains for the lack of mids control in single Pantheon (owned it for some months and sold)... so here you are Brian )) Great, great, great!!!! Want this one )) Where is a bank to rob? ))
Just watched Tom Quayle rock the crap out of this.. super nice pedal Brian! I just got the tumnus deluxe in my mailbox yesterday...lol..love it already... pushing your Plexi mini with it and lpb-1 out of that stage... sounds amazing...touch needed w the gain and eqs as they're really powerful...great work man.. pantheon deluxe looks great!!
What causes that "splat" sound most (all) gain pedals have on the initial attack. The only pedal I own that doesn't splat is the Tumnus Deluxe. I'm about to sell my splatting Duellist and ODR-1.
I have one of these and may need to get a second Deluxe. Then, I'll have four sounds of varying degrees of gain (low, medium, high) with different types of clipping (soft, hard).
Another pedal-maker, who will rename nameless, said it's not a good idea to have a toggle switch where you can change the signal order of the overdrives. Reason: One side will cut/boost such-and-such frequencies and the other will cut/boost other frequencies and frequencies negate each other. It's better, according to that other pedal-maker, to start with a flat-response overdrive then run it into whatever overdrive or distortion you want.
If Brian was to collab with JHS and put a Morning Glory on one side and a Pantheon on the other and pack them into a single enclosure, it'd probably be something I would buy. Just saying.
Brian Wampler is a genius. Releasing this before christmas. Guitarists are salivating to treat themselves
HAAA HAAA! Hell yeah, we are!!
I want super duper deluxe
Plus he explains it I a way even I can understand, I always learn so much from him. I don't feel the need to buy this being so close to Christmas... that isn't to say I haven't ordered one .... 🤷♂️

Right before Christmas and its two bluesbreaker style circuits in one pedal, too much win in one sequence.
Those low gain sounds from the Bluesbreaker side are a thing of beauty. All of the extra options are well thought out and seem very helpful. It's nice to see more great stuff coming out of Indiana. Much love to ya, Brian!

very cool, love the bluesbreaker circuit
finally got one of these, greatest 2-channel OD I've ever used.
Thinking about this as well. I use a tonex and want to be able to get my basic grit tone with that, and leave it alone. Then use something like this for a heavy distortion, then a slightly higher gain for solos or metal stuff we play.
You've done it again Brian! Instant CLASSIC! 🎸🎸🎸🎸
Sounds terrific and I see it's about $40 cheaper than I thought it would be. Well done and thanks for not hitting the wallet too hard!
Recently bought a Tumnus (which is great) then had to pick one up the Pantheon Deluxe after watching this vid, I wasn't disappointed, incredible pedal, thanks Brian.
Sounds beautiful, one of the best pedals released in 2021.

That stacks soooo well.
So many gain staging possibilities with Pantheon! Great tool. Will have to see how it plays along with the Velvet Fuzz on my pedal board

You just HAD to release this! The Pantheon is my favorite OD, so clearly I need this 🤦♂️
And there it is!!
I can't wait for the Wampler Echo multi-FX pedal. Like the Terraform just with Delay Types
This pedal sounds amazing
What a great sounding and flexible pedal. Looks like Brian hit a home run with this one.
One OD pedal to rule them all, one pedal to bind them, one pedal to tone them all.
Love it. No pain in the rear internal dip switches or trim pots.
Great Pedal. Versatility and great tone and responsive. Not just an overdrive box. Thank you !!
Incredible pedal Brian... Looks like I'll be Saving up to make this my next purchase, and possibly my 14 year old son too! 🙌

Best! ✌🏼
And I luv that Epiphone!!! Such a great new “style” guitar from Epiphone and on my Hollow Body list. 👍🏼
I also recommend you to try the Faux tape echo v2,,The Ratsbane, the Belle and the terraform…all amazing pedals!!!

I have overdrive overload. Too many great ones. Can't get them all. Argh!! This looks and sounds awesome, Brian. Well done.
Sounds great! Love me some BB circuits.
Love it! Buddy, please keep pumping GREAT pedals!!!!!!!
Awesome pedal and stacks well with the Tumnus deluxe
Love it!!! I'm using channel 1 as a always on, and channel 2 for solos. Sounds so good with Marshall dsl 40cr, also stacked with tumnus deluxe
Which channel of the DSL do you use it on? I have a DSL 40 CR as well and was looking into one of these.
@@seanjessie9921 The ultra gain chanel
@@randyberglund6474 Awesome. I ordered one today from Sweetwater. Hopefully will get here this weekend so I can try it out. Thanks man.
Amazing pedal!!
Wampler: Velvet: Fuzz: DELUXE. Gracias hefe!!
Sounds brilliant!
Sounds incredible
I bought the original Pantheon used a month ago , my favourite pedal . I guess I’m trading up now .
Finally got mine it's amazing

Just curious if I may, you had never tried the pantheon non deluxe version before?
@@flagace4889 No, I haven't.
For some reason YT never notified me about this video! Now I really, really want to demo this with a Vox! 🤯
Brian
Wow
I’ll get one of those when I can
Sounds amazing
Sounds gorgeous to my ears😍
Bravo, Brian👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Damn , Sounds Super.....great design
Clearly, I need more Wampler pedals.
Have the same Epi 335, love running my Wampler Belle drive with it
That is insane! Wow 🤩 This pedal does it all. Time to sell my stuff!
Yes. Yes. No. Noo. No. Yes. No. Yess! No. Yes. No. I have Pantheon. The best od pedal ever! This is too much!
Instant early Rush tone there.
thats a great tone
Just purchased this. I’m excited to have the slightly closer to original blues realer circuit in conjunction with the regular pantheon. Toss a parametric EQ (wampler equator) pedal after it and this should cover every overdrive sound I need outside of fuzz
You're the man, Brian! Hope everything is going well with the fire thing, man...
Cheers
DANGIT! I already have $1200 worth of Wampler Pedals...yer killin' me, Brian LOL
Hay Wampler, it would be nice to get a Tumnus/Pantheon dual OD. Some iterations of this are already out there but you guys would knock it out of the park with your version.
Great description of use of the presence control.

Here I was, hoping the original Pantheon prices go down. But after watching the video, I'm planning to save up for this Deluxe version.
Hey Brian - brilliant!
Excellent video.

My favorite pedal, now it’s twice my favorite pedal.
I just got the Tumnus Delux- now I want this as well.
Ok - i bought the Pantheon Delux. Now, the Tumnus Deluxe and Pantheon Delux are both on the pedal board for now. Let's see how it sounds?
You can always trust wampler pedal, I bought Tumnus Deluxe before, it is beyond my expectation.
This awesome!! I must have it!!!
Bought mine this morning at 9am EST! I’m excited to get it.
Marvelous! Well done Wampler!
Thanks Brian! My X-Mas is now going to be awesome! Tracking says it’ll be here on Monday 😱
Timing is everything- I’d just like to have once ounce of the knowledge- I love making new sounds!!!
Couldn't wait. I'm sold it and bought it.
Killer Tones!!! very smart to have midi too...
Just watched Tom Quayle rock the crap out of this.. super nice pedal Brian! The sound of a Tumnus into a Plexidrive is very special indeed. First time I clicked them on I couldn't believe the sound coming from my amp.
Your tone is so freakin good
Thank you! 🙏
Great pedal Brian!
Only thing you left off is the Noise gate like on the Gearbox .
Killer tones!
I guess one can never have enough Wampler pedals!
Think this will be my next purchase
Man, I'm seriously thinking of getting this and putting it in the loop of my Wampler Gearbox for additional tones and combinations.
Wampler makes great stuff
jesus...just ordered one...i have a lot of dirt on my board and its almost ALL wampler...great pedals all of em
What causes that "splat" sound most (all) gain pedals have on the initial attack. The only pedal I own that doesn't splat is the Tumnus Deluxe. I'm about to sell my splatting Duellist and ODR-1.
Ah nuts, I was figuring I’d be ok to skip this until I saw you included MIDI! I think I’ll have to buy one after all
Love this guy!!!
I have one of these and may need to get a second Deluxe. Then, I'll have four sounds of varying degrees of gain (low, medium, high) with different types of clipping (soft, hard).
First!
We gotta get you one of these pedals - with your live setup the midi makes a lot of sense
Oh man. I want one.
I need one, like, right now. I already have a Ceriatone Horse Breaker, but do I need three BB types in my signal chain? Guess so
Pretty cool sound actually
that is nice , maybe down the road a input for a expression pedal that panned between the 2 channels , currently used a PAN pedal and two set ups
Love that Epiphone
Has an AC/DC taste to it!
What do you mean IF I had two metalzones?
Taking notes to experiment with what’s said on 8:45
Excellent
well this is getting bought ASAP

My opinion differs from that
Pantheon is your best pedal
If Brian was to collab with JHS and put a Morning Glory on one side and a Pantheon on the other and pack them into a single enclosure, it'd probably be something I would buy. Just saying.
Now I can’t decide if I should save pedalboard space and get the original, or use up more pedalboard space to get the 2nd channel. Ugh.
