@@3p1ks no the Su33 of DCS is a "low fidelity" aircraft and does not reproduce precisely a lot of systems (and buttons are not clickable). There is an option to make the voice in english to help the non-russian speaking people to understand the warnings, and as a french i speak better english than russian lol The flight model and combat specs are quite accurate though

the combinaison of light weight and thrust-countered fall make it feasable in DCS at least ^^ not sure for IRL though... but Su33 in DCS is still an approximation of the real aircraft as it is not full fidelity, so we take it as it comes :)
well most carrier landings are a controlled crash anyway, if you look at the slow motion of the landing gear of a F18 during a normal carrier landing it's unbelievable that noting breaks every time. that said, this landing would have probably at least trashed the airframe, that nose bounce was wild

More amazing than cobra landing is that Kuznetsov is not being accompanied by the most important ship in russian navy: the little tugboat that has to pull it around.
