Matt don't ever get rid of your wife. The way she looks at you while you're talking, tells me she really loves you. Please keep her. good ones like her are hard to find. She's very pretty and has a great spirit, but you know that already, I'm just jealous.
Trick we used growing up skiing on the river: Put a pool chlorine tab into a plastic container with a lid and make holes into it to allow air flow. Stick it into bilge and anywhere you have closed space that holds some moisture. It kills all mold and leaves a chlorine antiseptic smell, but keeps your enclosed boat spaces free of mold and mildew.
Sorry to hear about the mold in the refrigerator, always store refrigerators with the door open until it is completely 100% dried out. Which on a boat might not ever happen.
A bowl of sodium bicarbonate, or baking soda, same stuff.. a bowl of that in as well bi carb naturally eats moisture, also odours, actually very handy stuff to have aboard, has 1001 uses..
If leaving a fridge empty and unattended for a while, always leave the door propped open all the time while. away, this will stop mould building up have the door of an empty fridge propped openthis stops the build up of mould etc
One! Glad to see ya'll Back on the Boat! Two! NEVER LEAVE THE BOAT! Bad things always happens to the Boat when you go away. Ok Thank You for a Great video this week. So until next time, Aloha from the Big Island of Hawaii! I hate to ask. But if you could put the people of Maui in your prayers! They could use all the help they can get.
Thank you Kristen … for pointing out “NOT-taking the positives for granted”. Just 1 of the many reasons you guys have mucho followers. BTW - Great shot from inside the freezer ! You are getting mad skills.
Accidents and stealing will happen, love the underwater scenes. Kristen are you going to have a Little Bambino? Or have you adopted a baby crocodile or dolphin? Well thanks much you too and by the way Matt your fat lip wasn't noticeable. Sorry about the insect bites but that's the way it goes. Catch you on the next one❤
Thanks! So happy that you guys have kept your original boat and fixed it up instead of buying some fancy new boat. I love seeing you working on it and making it better. I have stopped watching other RUclips channels when they bought some fancy new boat with their earnings. Save that money for when you are no longer on the boat. Keep up the good work!
You beat that anchor chain every time, and it never gives you a fat lip. I don't know what I am excited about, but I sure am super excited. Pumped up!!
I sometimes misplace a sail by putting it in a bag with another sail without thinking. As for mold control, get some chlorinated pool tablets.. They look like white hockey pucks and are great for keeping mold and bugs out of the boat. Stick'm in a open butter dish and keep them in places that are prone to hold moisture.
Love watching you guys. Love seeing your couples teamwork. Love your characters. Love sharing your adventures. Love that you do NOT have an O.F. Hope you share your wedding whenever that happens. Your channel, along with Atticus and Delos, helped us get through the C0vid lockdown by seeing the beauty of the world. Hugs to you both.
MAYBE A LITTLE EXTENSION OF YOUR LOVE ??? IM EXCITED YOU TWO ALMOST FEEL LIKE FAMILY I'M HOPING ONE OF THESE DAYS TO FINALLY MEET YOU BOTH. GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU SAFE.
I don't scuba dive anymore. but I love to snorkel still. I don't live by the ocean. I really like your videos when you are snorkeling!! Thanks for the videos!
You two are so fun to follow. The love for each other and the sailboat keep getting stronger, too. Enjoy each moment because life will keep on happening and change is part of that story. Roll with the punches as Matt knows and 😂
I am so glad you two are back on the boat. Bear did not seem to mind the heat, just lays around like a cat lol. I hope you get your heat acclimation back soon. I know that feeling well. Have a blessed week God Bless in all you do.
Lived in Puerto Rico for 3 1/2 years in the early '70s while in the Navy. Really loved the place. Surfed almost every day. Love your videos of y'all sailing there.
Misplaced your sail? Your memories are getting like mine but I have an excuse, I'M 74 YEARS OLD! Another great video. God bless and take care out there.
So great to see you back doing what you love. Showing us that it takes work to live like you do , is what makes you the best sailing channel. Stay safe
hi guys glad the boat is ok. The shots where Kristen is cooking, the interior of the boat looks great. It looks like a new boat and the colours and materials you guys choose is outstanding. Good to see ya sweating it out in Porta Rico again. Thanks for the channel and have a great evening.
Thank you Kristen and Matt for the awesome videos. You two make my day. I’m glad the boat didn’t sustain any damage and I’m glad that you’re back home again on the water.
Sorry someone dinged your boat and the storm sail was lost, but I for one am glad y'all are back on the water. Look forward to your videos every week.👍
Matt & Kristen: so HAPPY to view you both back on the water after an extended Van trip. Your artistic mode was in full swing on this episode and we are all in anticipation on those to follow. Beautiful photography, perfect audio and the theme as always, just amazing. Thanks for sharing as always. We use to wash our frig out with vinegar and water, leaving the lid open.
Thank you for the video. You got some really good underwater shots and some drone shots. Much appreciated for all the time and effort that must go into making a video. Stay well and happy. ⛵
Moisture - when I have an enclosed space that might get some moisture - I use some moisture absorbers - desiccant - "Damprid" refillable little containers - you put the powder in its basket, and water collects in the container below the basket. Works for a closed space, but if the space continually gets new moist air in, it would be consumed pretty quickly. So maybe good for inside compartments that you can't leave a door open. When used up, you dump out the water, and add more powder. Sold at Home Repot.
So cool to see you back and in the groove of the life you love. It was nice to watch your adventure off the boat but with how well you did your video sure seems like you are back to where you are supposed to be. Your choice of background music is top notch and not over powering especially when the dolphins came back, you set a really pleasant mood with it.
Matt I went scraping under my 1965 33 ft.pearson sloop so nice above waterline I was infested with tiny sea scorpions Charleston SC is beautiful but the down flow from up state is terrible worse is necore steel barges sending silt everywhere I'm out of here my hallout Thank you both
Sad things happen when you leave the boat for sure. It's always worse in a tropical setting. Happy that things are getting better and soon it'll be purrfict. 🐱 Excited to hear about the news next week. Cheers, S/V Cork~Texas 🇺🇸
Welcome back to Jobos Bay. Nice drone footage, and indeed, Jetskies have been a pain in the boat around the bay. In the past months, we had 2 manatee killed and rescued a baby manatee, which is in rehabilitation after her mom was killed by a jetski.
One thing that is a hundred percent certain is the anchor windlass is working as perfect as ever. What a machine. grins. Glad you two are back. Love the videos.
Hi Kristen & Matt, glad to see you back on the water. Good to hear the boat has in relatively good shape and ready to sail. I think Bear doesn't like the sound of the jet skis, maybe bothers his earing. Good sailing and have great adventures. Thank you for letting us be part of your lives on the sea.,
Ya always disconnect loo and flush with frish water and leave your intake and out take pipe up high. Leave a lemon in ice box with lid open. Lots of love j.
Matt look into Eco Flo. Wave 2 it's an air conditioner the size of a cat carrier and 5400 BTU's 12 volt or 120...Low power draw.....Good luck.....Stick with me kid I will hook you up.
So good to see you guys back on the water! Matt, my son, and I love MMA, it is a very violent sport ( No kidding🤣). Sorry about the boat, but you guys have it under control. Regards from Arizona and be safe
2% cortisol will help those bites. A floppy magnet large enough to help your grill keep wind control if it's a steel grill that is. cool vid. I spent some time on the hook myself, and it's alot easier to be on land for sure.
Watched you guys for years, best of luck with chasing your dream!
Matt is definitely in his comfort zone on the water. And of course Kristen in a bikini never gets old. Welcome back GBU.
Matt don't ever get rid of your wife. The way she looks at you while you're talking, tells me she really loves you. Please keep her. good ones like her are hard to find. She's very pretty and has a great spirit, but you know that already, I'm just jealous.
nothing better than seeing KRISTEN on Sunday morning !!!!!!!
😢😢 going to miss these.
Just want to say, thanks for your neat drone shots, underwater shots.
Enjoy the mud..
I’m glad there was no hull damage you two have worked so hard on your beautiful boat

We are big RUclips sailing and motorcycling fans. GBU has moved to our number one sailing channel. You create fantastic videos!
Glad u like the channel! Big things coming up🙌🙏 hopefully u enjoy the direction we're going in.
Y’all really do! I love watching your videos!
@@SailingGoodBadandUgly are you getting that girl a catamaran ? With windlass ???
@@SailingGoodBadandUgly big things? like a small thing that feels big when its coming out?
Sounds like wedding bells
Best wishes & welcome back

Groovy to see the three of you back on your boat. Van life is cool, but an ain't sailing, baby. Stay safe and stay groovy.
Sorry to hear about the mold in the refrigerator, always store refrigerators with the door open until it is completely 100% dried out. Which on a boat might not ever happen.
Lol good tip tho!
A bowl of sodium bicarbonate, or baking soda, same stuff.. a bowl of that in as well bi carb naturally eats moisture, also odours, actually very handy stuff to have aboard, has 1001 uses..
Correct. I always leave them open in my fifthwheel and my camper. No issues
If leaving a fridge empty and unattended for a while, always leave the door propped open all the time while. away, this will stop mould building up
have the door of an empty fridge propped openthis stops the build up of mould etc
One! Glad to see ya'll Back on the Boat!

Hey guys, welcome home!!
Hmmmmm...big surprise huh?
Could it be you're expecting a
Wee One??! ❤
🎉
That was my guess aswell 😅 but maybe it that there permanently switching back to van life😢
Easter egg in the last video, Kristin in a moomoo instead of a bikini...
Seems likely....
As regards my viewing retention …i hope not
Thats what i was thinking .
Glad you're back. I still need to watch your van adventures.
Bear sure looks happy to be back home.
Thanks! So happy that you guys have kept your original boat and fixed it up instead of buying some fancy new boat. I love seeing you working on it and making it better. Get excited!!
13:44 you gotta love the jet skis -- they are super fun !! Don't be hatin' on jet skis.
You have the coolest cat on the high seas, cheers and keep the faith.
That was my first thought.
Same here. I have done it twice.
These are the GBU days I miss
Welcome back. Glad you are both safe and well...
Nice to see that you had a safe camping trip and back on the boat. Pray someone does the right thing, and you get back your sail!
It probably just blew off
@@SailingGoodBadandUgly nice attitude about the sail hope so also!
Maybe dive under where you were anchored to see if sail is at the bottom?
Two things, the "boat crashers" might be your sail snatchers and Bear is happy to be back at home. See how much love is put into the basket?

The paint pops! Good work on the re-finish GBU!
Welcome back to the water. I wasn’t a fan of Van life. Now I have a reason to watch again.
I’m glad you’re back on the boat.
Love them underwater Kirsten shots !! WOOOHOOO :D That cake tho ! . I'm willing to bet the missing sails fell off boat and under the water

Good morning from Christchurch New Zealand 🇳🇿
Great video. Glad there is no damage to the boat, I would trade a moldy fridge any day for that if you had to have some bad luck.
