The reason those weird out of bounds extra bits like the one on Ascension are still there is because the devs ripped the maps from the old games and gave it a retexture makeover because they needed to figure out what parts of what maps they needed to use for Revelations
You don’t know why the door triggers there ? We’ll simply they ported the maps since they can use the .map file meaning realistically it never got noticed when updated models were changed over
